Obama’s “No Drama” Credo Led
to the ACA Website Disaster

Time, by Gloria Borger

Original Article

As the story of the Obamacare website fiacso unfolds, senior administration aides tell me that the president is “mad, frustrated and angry.” Mad that his signature legislative achievement is stuck at the gate, frustrated that he’s running out of time to fix it, and angry that he’s got a second term agenda now going nowhere. He’s so furious, in fact, that he stepped out of character to vent to an assembled group of top aides. “If I had known [about the website problems] ,” the steaming president reportedly said, according to the New York Times, “We could have delayed the

Perhaps if he got off his arse and actually got to work before 10:30, he might have known. Better yet, maybe ValJar should take him off whatever "meds" he is on. He looks high as a kite every time I see him.

We have a dictatorial President and it´s not going to get better any time soon!

FTA:"That, of course, presumes that the top staff inside the White House knew the full truth. And that probably wasn’t the case. Again, you ask, how can that be? Answer: the operation resembled the proverbial blind-man-and-the-elephant parable: everyone seemed to touch a part of it, but no one could really see the whole picture, or disaster coming right at them."

Talk about a lame excuse.

The CNN Chief Political correspondent sees the abject failure, but is still desperately trying to cover for her messiah.

Gloria, Gloria, Gloria, when will you learn. This debacle is not because Obama is "no drama". It is because he is no competence, no experience, no integrity, no leadership, no intelligence, and no morality. Other than that, he is a great president.

FTA: "If this were the presidency of George W. Bush or Ronald Reagan, the obvious theories would abound: the chief executive is disengaged. Or incurious. Or worse. But since Obama is none of the above, what gives?" That´s one heck of an assumption there little lady. Obama seems to me one of the most disengaged and incurious humans on the planet, much less among our Presidents.

This is article is a lie, including the "and´s" and "the´s." Of course Obama knew it was going to crater, but he figured the media would sweep it under the rug, just like they have done for every previous scandal in this scandal-fog of an administration. And this article is yet another try to insulate him from the disaster. The bigger picture is that Obama and the other Marxists are fine with the scheme cratering, it will blow up what´s left of the insurance industry, it will be total chaos, so the only thing left will be for the government to take over healthcare... which is what they wanted all along.

I wish that Ms. Borger, who I understand is an American Political Pundit, would translate this article into simple English for me because what I´m getting from reading it is that no one knows what the **** they´re doing down there. Hopefully, I´m too quick to make judgment and I´ll read it again.

I´m just a layperson, and not privy to all Ms. Borger knows about what goes on in Washington, but I could´ve sworn I´ve read, in the past year or so, bits and pieces, here and there, reportings, of deadlines being consistently unmet concerning the whole healthcare initiative.

Though, more than likely, I was reading about some other government project where deadlines were consistently being unmet. It´s hard to keep up with it all.

The only experienced federal bureaucrats on his team are people who did political fixing ~ like the Lerner gal at IRS.

Most of the fixers know very little about how their agencies operate and even less how to manage a project inside the constraints on the federal government.

Even if ObamaKKKare were a perfect piece of legislation with perfect regulations and perfect software, it would crash and burn as readily as it has.

The thing is doomed ~

Can you imagine if this disengaged dolt had been president during WWII? We´d be speaking a combination of Japanese and German. It´s like you inviting the whole family to your house for Thanksgiving. And what is the most important dish - the turkey. So you babysit it, butter it, season it, baste it, peek at it every half hour. You do not throw it into the oven and walk away for the next four hours. That´s what obama did, he walked away from his turkey. Gloria, give it up. He is a joke, a disaster, and your constant fawning is unsightly, demeaning and pathetic.

Everyone involved (including Obama) ignored the most basic tenets of project management.

I began examining BHO when I first heard of him. He was running for the titular executive position in the Executive Branch of the Federal Government - the Presidency. I noticed he had no executive experience: Nothing in the private sector - he´d never been a CEO. Nor had he held any meaningful executive position in the public sector. He´d never been the chief executive of a state (a governor). He´d never been chief executive of a major, or even small, city (a mayor). Huh? So what had he done? Well, he was a legislator who didn´t legislate - he didn´t even vote up or down most of the time on others´ legislation. I realized that this was a man who had never delivered ANYTHING within any meritorious, empirical, system of endeavor. NEVER. I asked people what he had won the Nobel Peace Prize for... no one could tell me. So, I read his Nobel Peace Prize certificate - and I can´t tell you either - it´s blather. I know this: this is a man who has wafted up on the warm air of every feel-good initiative and Affirmative Action boost you can cobble together. The fact that this country voted twice for this person is a devastating indicator for how collectively dumb the country is. To say I am concerned is an understatement. He´s an academician/politician - a horrific amalgam absent any other meaningful experience. - David Scott, Author, "I.T. WARS"

BO´s "signature plan"?

BO The POTUS´s "signature plan"?

A plan they all knew --planned-- would cause major dislocation and chaos and lots of pain and inconvenience?

Socializing a huge segment of the economy and disrupting the most personal aspects of people´s lives, all make this plan deserving of maximum attention.

There is NO excuse.

Staffers afraid to enlighten the Boss? So, he really is as thuggish as we´ve believed/known.

Has he fired anyone yet???

We´re talking about gargantuan sums of money, too... tax payer money... to the tune --for starters-- a trillion+.

Remember how they twisted arms at the CBO to get the number "under" a trillion?

From inception, from the moment the rotten seed was planted, we have been subjected to LIES and FRAUD.

And i am sorry to say that stupid, idiotic fellow citizens elected and then re-elected this utter disgrace with all his minions grovelling around his feet and the sycophant media accomplices.

No excuse; no rationalization; no evasions.

NO MORE LIES.

Borger´s assertion that Obama is engaged and curious is the most absurd comment I´ve ever read in defense of Obama.

Obama thinks that his words equal reality.

He´s a fraud who´s never done the hard work of learning how to lead, manage, direct, or execute.

He´s a conman who will never get his hands dirty or hold himself accountable.

During the Gulf oil spill, he was utterly clueless, with his discomfort at taking charge laid bare for all to see. He has no business running ANYTHING.

A poseur academic and politician who couldn´t manage a candy store.

No leadership skills, only self-promotion skills.

This law needs to hang around his neck for eternity. How dare this fraud cause this much destruction?

I´m still voting for "Money Laundering." Just how much does it cost to create a website? Did Amazon or E-bay or Etsy spend $600 million to get their company website started? That would take them quite awhile to make any profit at that cost. Our Dear Leader does whatever Valerie Jarrett manipulates him to do. The "elites´, no matter what side of the aisle they are own, proved their own gullibility and their low IQs when they promoted and believed in Obama.

Good article- although the "Øbama is a lost puppy" mantra is wearinga little thin. Because by now, everyone knows we have a real lemmon on our hands as "El Presidente".

What strike me, though, as most humorous- how many ´Øbama- you jerk!´ type comments there are and not a single ´Øbama is trying and you guys are just piling on!´ comments there are. Have the liberatti all run for their bunkers to wait this thing out, or are they merely turning their other face- you know, the face those types always show when they think it´s the popular thing to do. After Pearl Harbor, the ´keep America out of the war at all cost!´ people vanished in a whisp.

If the liberals have suddenly and shockingly seen the light and now realize- "Yes, Elizabeth! We are in a doozy of mess now! and it´s all our fault!", then that´s all fine, I guess. But, it really urks me that these people, who are really immature idiots, are the ones to blame for enbaling this goon in the White House, and here they all sound so "American" all of a sudden.

#29 To answer your question, I have designed, built and run websites for the government. Given that this particular piece had no e-commerce involved, I would speculate that I could have built a cloud environment for $100 to 150 mil and that´s a high estimate since it´s been a while since I´ve had to cost out hardware. The money certainly didn´t all go into development - even given the last minute changes that were ordered - that was just textual, no coding involved. Yeah, this thing smells to high heaven and my bet is that our Lord is tired of it.

On New Year’s Eve in 2011, software developer Robin Seggelmann was in front of his computer trying to work out some kinks in the security software most of the Internet uses. That’s when he made a mistake, which led to one of the worst bugs ever in the Internet known as “Heartbleed,” a flaw in the security infrastructure (OpenSSL) for a large swath of the Web. Nowadays, it’s unusual for someone to step up and take responsibility, But Seggelmann, a German developer, did just that.

I never wanted to be a pawn in President Obama’s absurd and irresponsible attempt to mandate, regulate and complicate the American health care system. Unfortunately, there wasn’t much of a choice. Many Americans have been watching with great consternation the ongoing struggle between the Federal Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and the U.S. Marshals against Cliven Bundy and his family. There are no signs of either side relinquishing their position. Many onlookers have been informed that this dispute is over protecting the desert tortoise. But it is nothing of the sort. In fact, the reality of the dispute goes far underneath what is being talked about. The more appropriate source of the dispute is ground water as well as surface water -- this is a war over water. The son of the Nevada rancher locked in an increasingly tense land dispute with the federal government, says their cowboys managed to break a blockade and retrieve around 30 head of cattle. Federal agents swooped on Tuesday after Cliven Bundy, dubbed the last remaining rancher in southern Nevada, refused to remove his herd of 900 cows from land he claims has been in his family since 1870. The heavily-armed federal agents, equipped with eight helicopters and backed-up by snipers, surrounded the Bundy ranch after the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) attained a federal court order to confiscate the family´s herd. Hillary Clinton was the planned keynote speaker at the 17th Annual Western Healthcare Leadership Academy in San Diego on April 11 - but she´s cancelled her visit in the midst of planned protests from San Diego locals and military families. Protestors organized by "The Difference Matters" do not want the former U.S. Secretary of State to come because of Clinton´s role in the Benghazi scandal. "She is not welcome here in San Diego by so many of us. We don´t want her here," said Jan Iverson, a local mother and protestor. (Snip) Clinton´s office says she changed plans because of

Who throws a shoe? Honestly! That would be 36-year-old Alison Ernst of Phoenix, Arizona, who was charged Thursday night with disorderly conduct by the Las Vegas Police Department after allegedly throwing a shoe at former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. According to NBC News, who spoke with a Secret Service official, the U.S. Attorney’s office has declined federal prosecution. Ernst was wearing shoes on Thursday night when she attended a speech Clinton was giving in Las Vegas, but apparently brought an extra one specifically to throw at the former secretary of state. The official said the incident appeared to be “premeditated.”

Following the massacre of grammar-school children in Newtown, Conn., in December 2012, high-powered weapons have been used to kill innocent victims in more senseless public incidents. Those killings, however, are only a fragment of the total harm caused by the misuse of firearms. Each year, more than 30,000 people die in the United States in firearm-related incidents. Many of those deaths involve handguns. The adoption of rules that will lessen the number of those incidents should be a matter of primary concern to both federal and state legislators. Legislatures are in a far better position than judges to assess the

A Nevada cattle rancher appears to have won his week-long battle with the federal government over a controversial cattle roundup that had led to the arrest of several protesters. Cliven Bundy went head to head with the Bureau of Land Management over the removal of hundreds of his cattle from federal land, where the government said they were grazing illegally. Bundy claims his herd of roughly 900 cattle have grazed on the land along the riverbed near Bunkerville, 80 miles northeast of Las Vegas, since 1870 and threatened a "range war" against the BLM on the Bundy Ranch website after one of

Recently elected Democratic Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe is warning that global warming could raise sea levels high enough to flood the Hampton Roads region, home to the world´s largest naval base, without immediate and “smart decisions.” Addressing an environmental summit this week at the Virginia Military Institute in Lexington, Va., McAuliffe embraced climate change, blamed humans for causing it, and said action is needed now to protect Virginia´s coast from rising ocean levels that will result from global warming. “The first big decision of course is to accept that climate change is real,” he told the group. “I happen to believe in

President Obama stood Friday with the Rev. Al Sharpton and accused Republicans of trying to keep millions of Americans from voting, in a fiery speech days after new revelations about Sharpton’s past as an FBI informant. “The right to vote is threatened today in a way that it has not been since the Voting Rights Act became law nearly five decades ago,” Obama told the annual convention of Sharpton’s National Action Network in Manhattan. Obama’s appearance represented a presidential seal of approval of Sharpton’s role as a civil rights activist, amid the new revelations about how Sharpton used a wire to record

Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-CA) is now accusing the Keystone pipeline of being a cancer risk. Her first point was that the pipeline “will bring 830,000 barrels of dirty tar sands oil into our nation every day.” She then segued to point #2 by asserting that the heavy tar sands oil will put people who live near refineries at risk for cancer: Significantly higher levels of dangerous air pollutants and carcinogens have been documented downwind from tar sands refineries, and in these areas people are suffering higher rates of the types of cancers linked to these toxic chemicals, including leukemia and

As President Obama spoke of old "wounds” at Fort Hood this week, the White House declined a request from a survivor of the 2009 massacre there to meet with Obama for a few minutes so the veteran could explain face-to-face how he believes the government has mistreated and disrespected the victims of that attack. Staff Sgt. Alonzo Lunsford (ret.) was shot seven times in November 2009 when Army psychiatrist Maj. Nidal Hasan opened fire at Fort Hood, killing 13 people. Despite Hasan’s admission that he carried out the attack on behalf of the Taliban and revelations that he had been

STAMFORD, Conn. — Jeb Bush defended his controversial comments about immigration reform, insisting they were nothing new for him and urging “sensitivity to the immigrant experience.” At a Connecticut Republican party dinner Thursday night, the former Republican governor of Florida did not repeat his remarks from last weekend at his father’s presidential library, when he said that people who come to the United States illegally in search of a better life for their children “broke the law, but it’s not a felony. It’s an act of love.” This time the potential 2016 candidate put it differently. “To be young and

Coming clearly through the throbbing of helicopters and the roar of the SUVS of the feds harassing the Cliven Bundy Ranch, patriots there for Bundy should “tell it to the judge”. There is mainstream media-suppressed case history in Nevada the feds are desperately trying to keep under wraps. Chief Judge Robert C. Jones of the Federal District Court of Nevada smacked down high-handed, abusive feds, sending the pretend cowboys riding roughshod over Western ranchers and property owners back to their cobweb-laced offices in 2013. In spite of their 200 armed snipers with boy toys in tow, those Stetson-wearing feds hunkering down on Cliven
