Lies, Damn Lies and ObamaCare
Fox Business, by Steve Tobak

Original Article

Posted By:kafir091101, 11/16/2013 6:53:13 PM

Last week I was informed by the agent who handles my firm’s health-care insurance that, come 2014, our group plan will be cancelled and replaced with an ObamaCare plan.SNIP Well, here’s how I see it. It sure looks to me as if the President of the United States, members of his administration, and Democratic Congressional leaders didn’t just lie. I think they intentionally perverted the truth. And I think they did it because, if they didn’t, they knew the bill wouldn’t pass through Congress.

This is the most direct, frontal and egregious assault on the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness in over 240 years. Not even George III stooped to this level.

The bigger fraud is that Obamacare has never been about healthcare. ´Healthcare´ was the excuse they used to get greater control of the economy and to redistribute wealth and destroy the health care industry in order to implement Single Payer.

Since you can´t teach an old dog new tricks, Obama´s methods of governing will continue until his time in office is over. The only forlorn hope is that the Supreme Court may end up with another case by which they can knock Obama Care out once and for all.

A couple weeks ago when the FDA made a ruling on transfats, there were liberal health nuts out there saying it could save 2-50 thousnad lives a year. Of course that´s a shot in the dark number but it´s how the left pushes their absurd claims. Lisa Jackson, former EPA director was on Dr.Oz one day claiming that if smokestack industries were shut down it would save the health industry countless billions of dollars.Fabricating numbers is a specialty of the left.

When Obama said his plan would save the average family $2500 a year it was pure hocus pocus numbers for a selling point.Obama apologists say all the time that all politicians stretch the truth and Obama´s no different.

Measles, small and chicken pox are making a big comeback because parents are still scared that vaccines lead to autism. That myth has been debunked but it shows the destructive nature of liberal gum flapping. To make the autism claim stick, they invented the autism spectrum which is a catch all for kids´ abnormalities.

Democrats should never hold office again. ANY Democrat.

They believed what their Obama told them. They didn´t read it, they didn´t verify anything he said. They just believed him (because he was ... ´´historic´´, and theirs). We tried to tell them. Some of us actually DID read it, as painful as it was to do so. Some of us relied on other authorities we trusted who read it (Betsy McCaughey).

But they - mostly the Democrats, but some of OUR ´´own´´ too - called us racists, and other assorted unsavory names.

Now they squeal like stuck pigs because they didn´t ´´realize´´ what was going to happen.

We tried to tell´em. But they believed their messiah.

That makes Democrats either (1) stupid, or (2) gullible, or (3) liars, or (4) all the above.

In any case they should never be trusted with public office - especially high office - again.

Ever.

The organization of our federal government into three unique and autonomous branches was supposed to keep this sort of thing from happening. It didn’t. It failed.

No, I don´t think "it" failed. What failed is that our system was made for honorable men. We have very few of those left.

Our system is a good one. The blame rests almost entirely on the Democrat Party which allowed their POTUS and their leadership to perpetrate fraud on the American people, not for a moment saying, "This is not legal or Constitutional."

The other blame is on Republicans, who were so afraid of the media that they didn´t call a spade a spade; they should have coalesced around their Party and have gone directly to the microphones to challenge the illegality of passing the bill without anyone having read it. They should have said, "This is not the way the American government works. We have three branches, not one. You, Mr. President, are not legally permitted to do this."

What really cheeses me off is the tentativeness of the GOP (not you, Ted and Mike) in hammering this POTUS and the Democrats about our Constitution. Why is the GOP leaving the hard stuff to Fox News, Rush Limbaugh and Mark Levin?

OPEN LETTER TO GOP: If the time for serious talk about repeal isn´t now, when would that time be? When thousands of people die as a result of this law?

Amen, brother. I believe this author is saying the acts committed by Obama and his administration are criminal. Obama, his administration, the entire democrat party, and the talking heads in the media have knowingly committed fraud against the citizens of this country. They must be held accountable or the rule of law ceases to have meaning.

Obie and his political allies are banking on the hope that any opposition will eventually disappear under the waves of the chaos we now see.

Too many younger Americans have been conditioned to behave like a bunch of puppies being potty-trained. But, you know, even a mature animal, once cornered and its well-being threatened, will go mean and stay mean until the threat is removed. Not that we are animals, but you get the idea. I´ll spell it out - mass civil disobedience and ignoring Obiecare. Even the msm couldn´t cover this up.

So since the fraud is widespread, perhaps a class action lawsuit against this administration, by the US citizenry affected, would be in order. It sure won´t be hard to prove damages. Holder certainly won´t do anything about it from the criminal side but there might be other recourse: civil. That should keep them busy for a while, could be the golden bb that finally brings down a bad ship.

I must admit, I do belabor this point but it needs to be said over and over.

Without an independent MSM, who is unbiased, truth based and willing to investigate ALL treacherouies against our Constitution and the American people, honestly, we can be easily deceived and taken over by tyrants.

If our MSM continues to distort, ignore, manipulate and cover for Obama and his regime, we are doomed. They are socialist, as is most of the world´s media, they will never turn their back on one of their own for long. I pray that I am wrong but look at their track record over the last five years.

I can´t say it any better than Mr. Tobak said it in the above quote. Tragically, for maybe the first time in our nation´s history, all three branches of government lied at the same time.

The head of the Executive Branch first lied about his qualification to be CIC, and then lied about the features of Obamacare.

The Legislative Branch lied by not fully vetting candidate BHO and declaring him eligible, when he is not. Then only the Democrats of the Legislative Branch passed the ACA, which is/was a lie.

But, most outrageously, the Judicial Branch supported the lies of the other two Branches. All three legs of the proverbial stool broke at the same time.

This was the world´s biggest chain reaction. Kinda like the "big bang theory". The country of Belize is looking better and better with each passing year.

No. 22. Absolutely agree with you. Not sure I can pinpoint when fact-checking, as we used to know it, went out the window. But facts and truth are extinct now.

However, your comments made me realize a larger point, and that is: all of the things that have needed "fixing" in the last 50 years have been Communist (fka Democat) initiatives --- environment, health care, affordable housing, living wages etc. I don´t reall any major Republican agenda items. Mostly, I believe, because Republicans subscribed to freedom and honor.

I´m also with no. 14. It´s hard to find honor any more.

I agree with EVERYTHING that has be posted above.

However....unless and until we elect enough congressmen, senators and presidents with the nands and backbones to repeal this monstrosity, we are stuck with it. So long as the press and media continue to cover for and push the liberal agenda, the "lofos" i.e. 47% will continue to press for more socialism. I fear that the "constitutional republic is irreparably damaged and the situation will only get worse over time. And the lowfos will demand more handouts, increased taxing and spending. The ballot box no longer works. Liberals lie and the press covers it up all in an effort to subvert the electoral process. I fear that the only solution will not be a pleasant or easy one.

I think that the root of our problem lies in three areas: the press, celebrities, and the educational system.

All three lie by omission, manipulate the facts, distort the language, and twist statements to shape the debate towards feelings instead of logic. They are the prime source of information to the lo-fos and they push the right to vote without mentioning the responsibility to understand what they´re voting for.

The lo-fos view government the same way they see the TV relief organizations - you give them some money and they will make everything better. They don´t understand that the majority of the money is siphoned off by "management" with very little going to the intended recipients. But if they contribute, even just a little, they feel they did their part and then they get the sense of superiority over the rest of us.

To them, being superior means the right to dictate to the rest of us the correct way to live. Republicans that agree with democrats, Christians that agree with gay causes, whites that join black organizations, and soldiers that side with peace activists are all OK, the reverse are sell-outs.

"The Hand That Rocks The Cradle Is The Hand That Rules The World" - William Ross Wallace

Leftists have traditionally held tightly to the belief that this country has an infinite supply of medical care but "the poor", and black people in particular, are denied access to their fair share ~ hence their higher rates of illness and shorter lifespans.

As a result the left does not, in general, consider their lies about medical care and medical insurance to be lies ~ they are not, as it were "lie lies"

A little revolution is NECESSARY every now and then. Right now, we are experiencing pure tyranny from our so called government. It´s our right and duty to throw it off by any and all means. At the end of WWII, we held criminal trials in Nuremburg, Germany, to hold the Nazis accountable for the death they meted out to innocent Jews in the concentration camps. It was our contention that the Nazis should have refused to follow Hitler´s illegal orders to murder the Jews.

In ZeroCare, we have a similar situation in which the Dems knew that they and zero were lying about ZeroCare, but none of them spoke out against it. Isn´t such treachery by our own political leaders worthy of at least same treatment that we accorded to the Nazis??

Several elements of his comments were misleading: (1) At first blush, the 35 percent stat is both significant and impressive. It’s the stuff of Westerns: a showdown on the desert plains, the big bad government against an underdog farmer. Though the story has only grabbed national headlines in the past several days, rancher Cliven Bundy has illegally grazed cattle on the Nevada land surrounding his farm for over 20 years. He hasn’t paid grazing fees since 1993, and refuses to renew the necessary grazing permit.(Snip)Rather than using the avenues and pathways presented to him, Bundy has staunchly declared his own law and allegiances. Unfortunately, reality doesn’t work this way. If only it did—we could rebel for paying stupid taxes, refuse to

A group of seven multiracial Washington and Lee University (W&L) students are demanding the school remove all Confederate flags from campus and "acknowledge" General Robert E. Lee´s "dishonorable side." According to the Roanoke Times, "seven multiracial students, calling themselves ´The Committee,´" have also demanded the school "acknowledge and apologize for participating in chattel slavery." They want recognition of "Martin Luther King Jr. Day on the undergraduate campus" and an end to "neo-Confederates" marching across campus "to the Lee Chapel on Lee-Jackson Day." The students say they will "engage in civil disobedience" if their demands are not met by September 1st. They added: "The

The White House is going to war with another fox — and this time, it’s personal. The Wall Street Journal reports that a red fox has been causing chaos around the White House, tripping security alarms, digging up Michelle’s garden and distracting the president from his duties. The Secret Service won’t give any details about how often the fox trips the White House’s obviously sophisticated security alarms, but rest assured, officials say, they’re watching. President Obama was apparently “stunned” to see the fox roaming freely down the oft-photographed White House colonnade, home to the world’s shortest, but most dramatic, outdoor strolls. The bushy-tailed visitor

I began reading the entirety of the first section of the New York Times at nine years old, and continued that practice, more or less, for decades.(snip) ...the power of reverence, intrinsic to what I call the “cascade” of The Times: the near avalanche-like flow and distribution of information through electronic and print networks: through like-minded network newscasts, magazines, local newspaper s, blogs, daytime talk TV, late-night entertainment, statements at media award ceremonies, the celebrity Twitterverse, etc. The cascade rolls through Saturday Night Live, Jon Stewart, The New Yorker, the mouths of third-grade teachers, Elmo, Madonna and Susan Sarandon …through

GREENSBORO, Ga. — Golf holes the size of pizzas. Soccer balls on the back nine. A mulligan on every hole. These are some of the measures — some would say gimmicks — that golf courses across the country have experimented with to stop people from quitting the game. Golf has always reveled in its standards and rich tradition. But increasingly a victim of its own image and hidebound ways, golf has lost five million players in the last decade, according to the National Golf Foundation, with 20 percent of the existing 25 million golfers apt to quit in the next few years. People under 35 have especially spurned the game, saying it takes too

Hi, everybody. For millions of Americans, this time of year holds great meaning. Earlier this week, we hosted a Passover Seder at the White House, and joined Jewish families around the world in their re-tellings of the story of the Exodus and the victory of faith over oppression. And this Sunday, Michelle, Malia, Sasha, and I will join our fellow Christians around the world in celebrating the Resurrection of Christ, the salvation he offered the world, and the hope that comes with the Easter season. These holy days have their roots in miracles that took place long ago. And yet, they still inspire us, guide us, and strengthen us today. They remind us of our

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said Thursday that a family of dissident ranchers and their supporters in his home state of Nevada are ´domestic terrorists,´ citing this week´s standoff with the federal government´s Bureau of Land Management. Cliven Bundy has refused to pay grazing fees for land where his hundreds of cattle roam every day. The land is owned by the federal government, which says he owes more than $1 million. Bundy, however, insists that since his family has been using the land since the 1870s, Uncle Sam can´t collect the grazing fees. A tense standoff developed this week after

To "honor the dignity and work of immigrants," Democratic House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi helps Bishop Marc Andrus wash the feet of two children Thursday at Saint John the Evangelist Episcopal Church in San Francisco. Pelosi also used the occasion to talk about passing HR15 - bipartisan immigration legislation that her office says would "reduce the deficit by nearly $1 trillion, secure our borders, unite our families, protect our workers and provide an earned pathway to citizenship." The Democratic leader´s ceremony coincides with Pope Francis´ similar ceremony in Rome to mark Holy Week.

Imagine a vendor on the National Mall, selling burgers and dogs, who hasn’t paid his rent in 20 years. He refuses to recognize his landlord, the National Park Service, as a legitimate authority. Every court has ruled against him, and fines have piled up. What’s more, the effluents from his food cart are having a detrimental effect on the spring grass in the capital. Would an armed posse come to his defense, aiming their guns at the park police? Would the lawbreaker get prime airtime on Fox News, breathless updates in the Drudge Report, a sympathetic ear from Tea Party Republicans?

WASHINGTON--Rushing to an afternoon vote last month, Sen. Ted Cruz hopped the underground tram to the U.S. Capitol from his office across the street. The Texan planted his black ostrich cowboy boots in the middle of the small subway car without getting so much as a nod from the other senators--Republican or Democrat--amiably chatting or huddled in their seats. Mr. Cruz finds himself standing alone a lot these days. His response to the cold shoulders: "The establishment despised Ronald Reagan" before he became president, "but the people loved him." For the 43-year-old Republican, the Reagan name illuminates his political life´s
