For Democrats, dark days ahead
Washington Post, by Ed Rogers

Original Article

Posted By:FlyRight, 11/16/2013 6:25:55 AM

Is the president’s Obamacare “fix” part of the Obama administration’s pattern of deceit or a product of its frequent delusion?A cursory discussion with almost anyone who knows anything about the insurance business would have alerted the president to the fact that his proposal is unworkable. The initial take from experts on both the right and the left is that the president did not fix anything yesterday. Insurance industry experts agree that the very idea that canceled health policies can be renewed or extended for one year is laughable

FTA: Also, it is plausible that the horrors of Obamacare will be exhausted in time to blunt some of the blow Democrats would be dealt if the midterm elections were held today.

You just to believing that Ed! Some graveyard whistling from the Wapoo. There is nothing in this horrendous bill that can make anything improve anytime - it is all downhill all the time.

Of course they think we´re stupid. Those who need to be "community organized" are not necessarily the cream of the crop. Unfortunately, these, Democrats, and affirmative active knuckleheads are the only Americans this administration has ever dealt with.

Those of us with half a brain know this is true...it doesn´t even come close to BandAid territory. But LoFos, Gimmeedats, and Moonbat Lefties will slurp this up like free soup!!! That was his intent...shift the blame to the insurance industry. The buck stops...somewhere down there!!!

Ed Rogers here´s what is going to happen.
This is just the beginning of a portion of working Americans of both parties who got dropped by their insurance companies. By 2014 there will be millions more mad at the party that made this bone crushing law.
It´s going to get uglier Ed but keep whistling passed the graveyard. The president and the communist democrats own this monstrosity.

Ed is still cheerleading thinking that after the next few weeks that democrats can recover. Obamacare´s worst aspects have yet to be revealed. Two things can happen, obamacare is repealed or it can continue getting rolled out perhaps with some delays but continuing scandals of higher cost, death panels, and identity theft. If repeal happens, how do you out the genie back in the jar and get people covered who lost their plans? Mandates to force insurance companies to reinstitute plans won´t work. Democrats have earned and own the continuing wrath of the electorate.

unfortunately the rEPUBLICANs are doing nothing to further their cause. they started out well with a nearly unanimous (save for some aisle crosses in the senate) vote against obamacare. since, precious little to point out why government takeover of anything guarantees success: efficiency in delivery of product or services, efficiency in cost, effectiveness...THINK USPS AND DOD. Anything other than pointing towards a private solution (government completely out of health care, including no employer mandates (tax advantage for offering), and no price controls (medicare/medicaid) will continue us down the road to hell (single payer). WAKE UP America!

Obama still believes he can lie his way out of this. Until the media holds his feet to the fire, he will continue with the lies. It is satisfying to see that people are having their eyes opened to this lawless administration. Don´t be fooled, progressives will not go down without a fight and I believe this is the first time they have felt threatened. Oprah started a meme yesterday by saying people don´t like this president because he is black. We need to make it clear that we disagree with him, not because he is black but because he is red. They will attempt to paint him as a victim of prejudice. It is all they have. Obama´s lies have caught up with him.

So far, we have heard some stories about cancer patients under treatment being kicked off their health care plans and having access to their doctors denied. Those stories are bad enough.

But wait until the stories start coming out that accuse Obama directly of actually causing the death of individuals. For example, a woman goes on TV and says, "My husband died because of Obama", or "My child with cancer died because of Obamacare." "Obamacare killed my wife."

Enough of the death panel activity, which WILL happen if this law is fully implemented (or it may already be happening) and this law will go down in flames with Democrats running for their lives. And it will be justified. This law is a cold, calculating murderer.

At least Republicans can´t be blamed even though some will try. And blaming insurance companies isn´t working either, which will again be tried.

We need an investigation on the illegalities this POTUS is perpetrating viz O´Care.

There´s all this talk about pushing back the deadline. For those who have lost their insurance, the deadline is January 1, 2014. These are the ones who are in the midst of chemotherapy and the ones whose children need a series of lifesaving surgeries. We all know people who have conditions that require expensive ongoing medical care. They were responsible. They had insurance. What are they doing to do when January 1 rolls around and the only health plans available are ones they can´t afford? They won´t need to wait for the death panels. Death is going to come right to their door.

Don´t be lulled into complacency. Forget the website and cancellations for a moment.

1. What are Enroll America´s numbers. They are Obama´s army of Navigators on the ground.
2. What are we going to do with all the new Medicaid enrollees that Enroll America will sign up? The new criteria for a family of four is $31,321.50 per year. Virtually everyone on public assistance will qualify.
3. How will we handle all the fraudulent applications that Enroll America is encouraging people to submit (see James O´Keefe). I expect we will see a lot of people reporting an annual income that qualifies for Medicaid or massive subsidies. Remember, none of this is verified the first year.

We should know by now that the Obama agenda never sleeps. NO ONE is reporting on Enroll America. Does no one see this as odd? This new entitlement may not be able to be unraveled before Jan 1.

Next year, every single Republican running for office absolutely must run on the 0bamacare fiasco and place the blame squarely where it belongs with constant reminders that not a single Republican voted for it.

Not just a landslide, but a tsunami, a lava spewing volcanic eruption, a super storm of voter rage, all directed at zippy, Pelosi, Reid and their congressional partners in the crime of the century.

Overconfidence is NOT what the conservatives need at this point. The writer points out there is 12 LONG months between now the election. This means the dims have plenty of time to lie, deceive and muster support of the illegitimate and the disenfranchised. We can only hope those who have been actually disenfranchised will remember this long enough to vote.

Look at Virginia. There was more than enough votes to defeat the dims. But what happened? The libertarian split the vote (with the help of money from the dims - how stupid are they?. Couple that with a LOW voter turnout - and you can see the problem.

We have to get out the vote. We have to not split the vote. More important, we need to keep the pressure on.

When the liberation of NAZI death camps exposed to the world the horrors of its German manifestation, the progressive American Eugenics Society was more or less disbanded.

The worst part of Obamacare is not the financial catastrophe it is intended to bring about. The goal is not to provide healthcare to the poor as much as to redistribute it to those deemed worthy to receive it.

The world - led by the United States - did not forgive and forget. We went to a lot of trouble to hold the Nuremberg Trials, not as much to punish at least the worst perpetrators as to inoculate the minds of everyone against the evil ideas they represented.

The reason to vote progressives (democrats or republicans) out of office is not to punish them personally as much as to educate the public about the fundamental evil of statist oppression of personal freedom.

We honor the principle that everyone is entitled to his or her opinion but should also recognize that not all opinions can he honorably held.

The belief that government has the right to confiscate personal property for redistribution to others is one such opinion.

A couple of memes have been persisting for a few years regarding pResident stinky. The most ridiculous is that he’s some sort of brilliant James Bondish evil criminal whose every step and scheme is cleverly planned to further his ultimate plan of world domination. The other scenario is that he’s a hapless dumbass puppet controlled by other James Bondish evil criminals who are cleverly planning to take over the world.

There’s a pellet of truth in that one, maybe.

Sure, he’s a hapless dumbass puppet, and yes, he’d be happy to dominate the world if he didn’t have to work too hard at it, but even the lofos and libtard butt-people are actually waking up and understanding that barry soetoro is polished poop, and nothing more.

He’s no big deal. He’s stinky, the polished poop.
That’s all he is. America has once again voted for another polished poop guy. Big whoop. We do this all the time, yo.

America has empowered a barnyard of worthless clodhoppers over the years; they’re gone, and we’re still here.
The United States of America is an awesome, enormous slow-grinding engine that pulls in ignorant fodder and releases brilliant potential. It might take a ton of morons to create a drop of genius, but that’s what we do. The morons are a hindrance, not a brake.
barry soetoro is an obnoxious annoyance and nothing more. He’s just another lucky a-hole who won the political lottery. We’re stuck with him now, but not forever. We’ll be done with him soon enough.
God bless America. We’re not done. Stop thinking like that.

There are some things that do bother me about whether or not the dims will lose a large number of Senate and House seats next year. Remember, only a few Dims occupy seats that are located in a red zone. Most of them are in Gerrymandered "safe" seats. And that is the reason for Gerrymandering. I wish that somehow it could be made illegal, but I´m keeping my hopes up. Added to that is the simple fact that most people, especially the lofo´s, will tell you how they like their own representative or senator, just not the rest of them. So, for the Republicans to succeed in turning the Senate and keeping the House, I foresee a very tough election season. The Pubies had better get on their horses now a start planning for such.

And to poster #20, in my opinion there should be another way for obozocare could reach the SC. Some conservative group should file a challenge stating that the law was originated in the Senate and was rule to have a tax in it, and that ALL tax bills MUST originate in the House, per the Constitution. I don´t have the money to pursue that avenue.

Dear Leaders "fix" was cotton candy for all of his supporters to believe he can do no wrong fix all that needs fixing and continue as if everything is hunky dory. History is being written and when this dark expensive chapter comes to an end it will be the most expensive most destructive social experiment in the history of the world. We aren´t quite there yet. The real fix comes home to roost on election day November 2014.

Oddly, the taxes in ACA aka BOHICAcare Kenyacare aka Husseincare aka Obamacare are right out in the open. There is a tax hidden aware in there for corporations which is called the Re-Insurance Fee aka "belly-button tax" which forces employers to pay up to $80/employee on a to be determined basis in order to fund unemployed people.

This is clearly another corporate tax, and corporations are considered just like people, regardless of what any recent Federal Judge has opined. If this fee/tax originated from the Senate then it is a clearly un-Constitutional law, per #38.

#43, there is also the medical device tax, and the 3.8% tax on investment income (including your home) for those over $200,000.

The pundits keep talking about the blowback because people have lost insurance. What about the blowback because people have lost hours and jobs? All the young people in my family have been limited to part-time jobs of less than 30 hours a week, with no benefits, and they´re struggling to pay student loans.

What about the supporters of families who have had their jobs taken from them, or their hours limited? They lost not only insurance, but pay.

#36 that that challenge to the illegal bill is already limping it´s way though the courts.
Harry the Red did or allowed the gutting of a minor house bill and the assigned number was used for the unaffordable law.
Perhaps harry´s problem was the fact copies of the original still exist within the House files.
Pressure might force the SCOTUS to hold an emergency session if the administration and crooked justice branches can´t sustain their illegal hold on the country.

There are at least a half dozen cases making their way to the Supreme Court and from as many different points of contention ...

... there is more than a better chance it will be struck down or modified beyond recognition.

What is settled law? Obama shreads the constitution every day. The constitution should be more permanent than any law yet this abomination is supposed to be regarded as permanent with all the partisan skulduggery in its origins. If the constitution can be shredded this law deserves no respect at all.

Several other "r" words keep come to mind:

REPROBATES

REGRESSION

REGRETS

AND, I almost forgot: RATS (they own it)

I feel no comfort in watching the dem party implode. It WOULD comfort me if we had a viable, i.e., competent, political party that could actually govern. But, alas, we don´t. Just gutless cowards and a party, TEA, that is rendered powerless by the two, corrupt and incompetent, giants.

Do not forget that the IPAB (Death Panel/Medicare rationing board) has yet to be formed yet it is charged to issue its budget for Medicare by 8/15/14. That budget must start to cut out the $716B Obamacare is stealing from it over the next ten years to redistribute to insurance premiums for purposes other than the taxes were collected. This cutting will entail deprivation of services for Medicare recipients. When those people discover what Obama and the D´rats have really done as their doctors start refusing to work without sufficient pay, the furor will only increase.

This thing has more shoes yet to fall than a centipede.

#15 ~ in your examples of governmental inefficiency you took two agencies that are both assigned to the responsibility of the federal government ~ the post office and the department of defense (war, navy)

USPS is still the world´s most efficient postal mail delivery operation bar none, and the current economic problems are due entirely to Congressional interference in the day to day operation.

DOD might well be long overdue for a private enterprise initiative! On the other hand, it might not be either.

Not saying it´s a novel idea ~ the Guelphs_and_Ghibellines? certainly tried all sortsof things with private armies and contract connoniers ~ but there turn out to be some problems in using nothing but mercinaries so you might want to study that a bit more.

I would recommend that in the future you use as examples of inefficiency the US Court system ~ they leave half their customers dissatisfied, and even distraught, and they are known to have purposefully killed a good number who sought their services. They are neither friendly, nor prone to admit error!

They are from efficient!

A triumphant President Barack Obama declared Tuesday his signature medical insurance overhaul a success, saying it has made America´s health care system ´a lot better´ in a Rose Garden press conference. But buried in the 7.1 million enrollments he announced in a heavily staged appearance is a more unsettling reality. Numbers from a RAND Corporation study that has been kept under wraps suggest that barely 858,000 previously uninsured Americans – nowhere near 7.1 million – have paid for new policies and joined the ranks of the insured by Monday night.

Cliven Bundy has refused to pay grazing fees for land where his hundreds of cattle roam every day. The land is owned by the federal government, which says he owes more than $1 million. Bundy, however, insists that since his family has been using the land since the 1870s, Uncle Sam can´t collect the grazing fees. A tense standoff developed this week after
