The fix is in: Obama
comeback begins today

The Hill (Washington D.C.), by Brent Budowsky

My guess is that my column this week, suggesting President Obama can rise again, may come close to hitting the bottom of his recent slide in popularity. The president will fix the problem for those whose insurance policies were canceled. They may ultimately be big winners as insurers compete to offer them better policies, which will be clear when the website problem is fixed, which it ultimately will be. Meanwhile, Democrats turn up the heat of immigration, which will be a big winner for the president and Democrats, one way or the other. House and Senate Democrats have now pounced on

Sounds like the media is gearing up to create a narrative for an Obama comeback.Nobody knows whether this fix he did yesterday will even fly in the country.Doomsday for employer coverage is on it´s way.The Obamacare story is blocking the sun from probing a slew of other Obama failures.

My guess is they´re completely overhauling the website format which is throwing good money after bad but the government does that all the time. It´ll probably be next year before the new site is working with the cripple one up as a cover in the meantime.

On a day our President publicly orders insurance companies and state regulators to violate the law, announces he will not enforce the law and threatens to veto congressional efforts to improve the law, this writer pronounces the President is destined to see his popularity improve. "What we have here is a failure to communicate".

Wow. This guy doesn´t even recognize an abject failure when he sees one. The problem he has is that Americans have been personally affected by Obama´s policies. They are experiencing Obamacare. It is not something they read about but does not directly affect them. It is hitting them, where it hurts, in the wallet. If this guy believes that all will be forgiven because Obama is, well, Obama, he is delusional. Obama and the democrats have made a grave error. Reality ripped the mask off their little monster and it is now terrorizing the village. The torches and pitchforks are coming and no amount of spin is going to stop them.

FTA "Democrats turn up the heat of immigration, which will be a big winner for the president and Democrats,"

Really? If this country is all for giving amnesty to 30-40 million illegals then it´s all over and what happens to obamacare doesn´t matter. Good grief the majority of Americans are against amnesty but if the msm says the opposite enough times then the lie becomes reality. The msm has fix in for obamacare and amnesty! How I loath the msm!!!

Of course the fix is in. The fix has been in for years. The MSM has supported Obama from day one and will continue to do so.

The good news is the "fix" will not work. The people are seeing just how inept this president can be.

Unless the Republicans come to Obama´s aid and do something even more stupid (i.e. vote for immigration reform) the coming midterm elections should see an overwhelming vote for conservatism and the repeal of ObamaCare.

Democrats are masters of the disinformation campaign. Republicans should learn how to play the game.

Obama will have to resign and very soon. The MSM is going to demand it.

Budowsky, you´re lost in space if you think anybody, much less Obama, is gonna fix this turkey of a law. It´s not fixable if you want it to work somewhere close to the way things have always worked, with maybe a glitch now and then but largely cruising along with satisfied customers.

ObamaCare would "work" the way socialized medicine "works" everywhere - for bandaids, first aid, minor stuff. It will always and unfailingly cost much MUCH more than prophesied while always and unfailingly delivering much MUCH less than predicted. It´s a gigantic scam to hide corruption and political favoritism.

Nobody wants to spend three times as much for half as much, and that half undependable.

The United Nations´ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change will shortly publish the second part of its latest report, on the likely impact of climate change. You may have noticed that our friends on the left have begun to refer to the Koch brothers and other rich conservatives as "oligarchs." Like calling evangelicals "jihadists" and the tea party "racist," this comparison to the billionaires in Vladimir Putin´s circle is meant to stigmatize and marginalize these men politically and socially. This latest Saul Alinsky tactic got us thinking about who really qualifies as an American oligarch.
