Too ´Smart´ to do the Job?
American Spectator, by Ralph R. Reiland

In his 2007 biography of Barack Obama, Obama: From Promise to Power, Chicago Tribune reporter David Mendell described the exchange he had with then-Illinois state Sen. Barack Obama just minutes before he delivered the keynote address at the 2004 Democratic National Convention in Boston: After Obama and I slipped through a security checkpoint and he momentarily broke free from the entourage, I sidled up to him and told him that he seemed to be impressing many people of influence in this rarefied atmosphere. Obama, his gaze fixed directly ahead, never broke his stride. “I´m LeBron, baby,” he replied, referring to LeBron

The question is beyond ridiculous. Smart people are swimming in details. Best example I have seen recently is "The Lost Interview with Steve Jobs" (available on Netflix streaming). Just breathtaking to watch a truly smart man.

obama is in a constant fog. Very below average intelligence.

We have been hearing for 6 years now how very talented, smart and awesome Obama is. There is zero evidence of this and his actions show the exact opposite. He is a complete and utter failure and has done more harm to the country than all previous Presidents combined. The perfect Democrat.

The American Left and the media created the Emperor and gave him clothes that he did not deserve.

Dear Leader´s path had been chosen years ago by the communist party, all they needed was Soros and other evil doers to fund the scam, and away they went.

Well, he could be right. Maybe Barack Obama is actually too smart to do the job of mere President of the United States. Maybe it is so, that his unimaginable talent, intellect and encyclopaedic Knowledge Of Everything is better suited for a job such as Saviour Of Mankind, or perhaps Dictator Of The Galaxy. Seriously, it must be hard on him, wasting his prolific mind on us…

That fog, #2, is probably the result of his choom and alcohol abuse, most likely with the occasional line of coke thrown in. We have a druggie with his hand on the nuclear football and he´s getting desperate with his poll numbers tanking and his legacy achievement imploding.

Just a happy thought to start your day.

Good piece:

“I think Barack knew that he had God-given talents that were extraordinary,” stated Jarrett.

No. Only Godly people know that their gifts are from God. Obama doesn´t fall into that category. He believes the talent, such as it is, come from him alone, not God.

“He knows exactly how smart he is... I think that he has never been challenged intellectually. … He’s been bored to death his whole life. He´s just too talented to do what ordinary people do.”

The excuses people make for getting bad grades and for being lazy and frankly unaccomplished, is always that they´re too smart and bored by mere humanity. They´re above the rest. But it´s insecurity.

Obama´s biggest fear is being revealed as the empty chair he is.

Yeah, baby. He´s LeBron. He has a single skill (ruthless self promotion) that he believes outweighs his manifold liabilities: lack of experience, hatred of America, disdain for capitalism (except as the extorted bankroll for his agenda), petulant attitude of entitlement, disregard for the law, utter moral bankruptcy, inability to learn from his mistakes, ignorance of foreign affairs, refusal to lead, propensity to lie, and chronic laziness. If that´s "game," then "he got game."

Many people with high intellect are total failures. A high I.Q. is not an indicator of success. There are all kinds of "smart" in this world. Obama´s is a particularly disturbing one. He wants you to believe he is a genius but has all his records sealed. He wants you to believe he is an accomplished speaker but when he is off TelePrompTer, he stammers and is unable to readily put together a simple concise sentence. He wants you to believe he is compassionate but he knowingly lies to grieving families. He wants you to believe he is a great negotiator but he stiff arms any opponent. He wants you to believe he is transparent and truthful but he lies repeatedly and then denies he has lied. The man is a walking contradiction. A man like this has no moral compass. His conscience is seared. The driving factor in his life is himself. He is a narcissist with a plan to transform this country into his image and he is determined and focused. Many smart men and women have done great good for mankind but there are others who commit great acts of evil. Obama is the latter.

Oh come on. There is nothing magical or unusual about Obama. We have all known people like him. You may have worked with one, or for one, or you may have even hired him. Sterling academic credentials. His resume evidences a spectacular upward career trajectory through a succession of higher level positions. And he interviews and presents himself like, well, the ONE you have been waiting for. But AFTER he goes to work for your company (or organization, or government agency) you realize to your chagrin that there were tells, but you ignored them all in the dazzling white light of their "apparent" brilliance.

The resume was packed with ever more impressive positions, but not one single accomplishment was listed. When you asked around about him, everyone sung his praises for his abilities and bright future, but no one could tell you anything he ever did. You very quickly discover that he knows next to nothing about the substance of the work you hired him to do. You also find out that he left many positions one step ahead of getting axed, and moved on from others the moment a better offer appeared. In the end, after he has moved onward and upward from his position in your firm, you begin to wonder how in the world he ever got those impressive Ivy degrees, since he doesn´t seem to know anything, and work is a foreign concept to him.

I´ve said this before there is no evidence of Obama´s intelligence. Nothing has been proven so I conclude for what I have witnessed and heard he is nothing but a low IQ, ignorant individual with speaking abilities better than your average black Chicago street thug rapper.
Obama likes the drone of his own voice reading a teleprompter with other people´s words or thoughts. He´s a fraud and nothing else.
Obama is not too smart to do the job, he´s a slacker idiot.

Excellent, #’s 9 and 24.

RE: #10, I have little doubt that stinky still gets loaded, probably every night. I can see him squatting in some lost old White House basement closet, passing a blunt back and forth with reggie and blathering about the good old days when he was king of the world.

It will all come out sooner or later; thanks to the utter failure of stinkycare, zero’s butt-people are leaving his sinking ship like the rats they are.

When he’s out of office and his beard finally splits for good, the tell-all books will spill out of Washington and Chicago like vomit in a St. Paddy’s day gutter. Bet on it.

There´s light at the end of this tunnel. The United States of America will survive little stinky and his phony, naked empire.

Odumbdumb couldn´t think his way out of a paper bag. Perhaps if he managed to get his TelePrompter inside the bag with him he might be able to read the instructions on how to get out, but that assumes that he has the ability to comprehend that which he is reading, which I´m not too sure about. Sometimes it appears that he is just uttering meaningless, phonetic sounds which he clearly doesn´t understand. But then again, he did admit that he believes his own BS.

Question FTA: "What´s the meaning of Jarrett´s analysis, aside from providing insight into how adoration may be linked to attaining employment?"

Answer: Jarrett´s analysis is a product of her own persona which is --

Valerie Jarrett, the current de facto POTUS, has skillfully combined the personality traits of Mata Hari and Tokyo Rose into a persona of Jezebelian stature -- an ObamaMama who is much needed by the delusional and mama abandoned child who is the current pResident of our White House.

Jarrett´s power is augmented and maintained by the fact she is the keeper of the keys to the skeleton closet. The drip-drip-drip of exposure to these skeletons has accelerated as Barry´s lying has become more prevalent in his pResidency.

The most recent drip, supplied by a then classmate in Hawaii, concerns the bones related to his depraved behavior while in High School. Her statements provided more authentication to the already known facts and allegations by Corsi, Madsen, and others. This woman, brave as she is, should probably be very careful about her future health.

The devilish people to whom Obama sold his soul many years past, are not playing bean bag, and he knows too much to be allowed to become a loose canon.

Ironically, the only "shovel ready" project to materialize from all this expensive chicanery is the hole Obama has dug himself and close confidantes into -- go figure!

Valerie needs a visit from Rumpelstiltskin, her spinning wheel and loom are producing nothing but whole cloth.

FTA: “I first learned about it from the same news reports that I think most people learned about this.”

There´s the problem, it´s just a matter of a vicious circle. He speaks and the lapdog media praises him so then he doesn´t realize that there´s anything wrong.

Add to that, do you know how hard it is to read a newspaper while your holding a five iron or reading a teleprompter? Come on people, he still has three years and two months to investigate, hold those responsible, and bring them to justice for whatever has gone wrong, just like he promised.

Correction: He has three years and one month - the last month has been set aside for presidential pardons.

The Imposter hides all his credentials, unlike any President IN HISTORY ! Like every TV clown, he reads everything off a TelePrompTer, material from his large staff of propagandists ( who may also write the same drivel for Diane Sawyer) he is widely alleged to have forged his birth certificate and several Social Security cards (the female forger has now been found!), and with a communist Valerie Jaret, guiding his every move, there is not much of his intelligence left to see.

WEST, Texas—Block by block, schools, homes and businesses are steadily being pieced back together here, a year after a blast at a fertilizer depot laid waste to much of the town. But the mental wounds suffered by residents are proving much harder to heal. On the eve of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003, Gen. Regrettably, our allies wonder whether the United States is demonstrating the reverse. Since leaving as secretary of homeland security in January 2009, I have talked with officials from friendly nations in Asia and the Middle East. Increasingly, I hear skepticism about whether the United States remains a reliable ally our friends can trust for support against attacks.

SAN ANTONIO, Tex. — Mayor Julián Castro of San Antonio faced off in a televised debate on Tuesday against a Republican candidate for Texas lieutenant governor, even though Mr. Castro, officially anyway, is not running for anything at all. “Sometimes I get impatient,” Mr. Castro said on a recent afternoon here. “And I figure I have nothing else going on, so I might as well.” The mayor was joking, up to a point. Ever since he became the first Latino to give a Democratic National Convention keynote address in 2012, he and his identical twin brother, Representative Joaquin Castro, the Texas Democrat

Bureau secrets: ‘Censusgate’
e-mails fail the smell test

What is the Census Bureau hiding? Census, which is under investigation by several government agencies and by Congress, is refusing to turn over an estimated 1,900 e-mails and text messages between a regional supervisor in its Philadelphia office, where falsification of unemployment data took place, and a colleague in its Chicago region, who a source has identified as the supervisor’s mentor and confidant. On March 5, under the Federal Freedom of Information Act, I requested all e-mails between Fernando Armstrong, the regional director of the Philadelphia office, and Stanley Moore, Chicago’s regional director, from 2010 until my filing date.

Robber Who Was Homesick
For Prison To Be Sentenced

CHICAGO -- Walter Unbehaun has spent nearly all of his adult life behind bars, so it´s not surprising that he faces sentencing Thursday for yet another crime, a bank robbery last year. His reason for robbing the bank is surprising, though: He was homesick for prison. The 74-year-old high-school dropout and part-time bathtub repairman probably isn´t the first long-term convict to find he prefers being barked at by guards to life on the outside, which has its own demands. But living alone and feeling unhappy, Unbehaun decided to change his situation by committing a crime in order to get caught. On Feb.

Here´s a lesson in online security: Passwords are important. They keep your information safe. Crucially, they also prevent other people from impersonating you. Unfortunately, one of The Switch´s readers learned that the hard way. On a story explaining how the Heartbleed bug could slow down the Internet, a commenter scoffed at the "Heartbleed thingamajig," arguing that the Internet´s handwringing over security was mostly overwrought: I couldn´t give a flying fig about the Heartbleed thingamajig. Two years already the thing has been running loose ... and not a word of someone crying over its damage. Say ... does anyone really know its origin?

Proponents of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) insist that the law will extend health insurance to millions, expand access to health care, and improve Americans’ overall health. But, as the New York Times recently reported, at least 20 percent of the new enrollees have not paid their premiums. They therefore do not really have insurance. But even for those enrollees paying premiums, having health insurance is not the same thing as getting good health care, or any health care. In fact, it doesn’t matter how many Americans obtain insurance under the ACA. Most will have difficulty finding a physician. Many Americans

Like him or hate him, there is no disputing that Rush Limbaugh’s very special brand of mixing right-wing politics with his flare for entertainment has produced one of the most successful radio programs in the medium’s long history. Whatever the burning political question of the day, millions of Americans have relished the opportunity to tune into Rush’s program, knowing that he would quickly take that hot potato, throw a few gallons of verbal kerosene into the mix and elevate the matter into a five alarm fire with a just a few well-chosen words spoken in the style only Rush Limbaugh could

Less than a minute into his speech at the Boston marathon bombing memorial on Tuesday, Vice President Joe Biden went tragically off script and told the crowd of Boston bombing survivors that "it was worth it." After expressing how impressed he was with the tribute, he said somberly, "let me say to those ´quote survivors,´ my God, you have survived and you have soared. It was worth it. I mean this sincerely - just to hear each of you speak. You´re truly, truly inspiring." The audience sat in stunned silence until Biden declared, "I´ve never heard anything so beautiful than

Casual marijuana use may come with some not-so-casual side effects. For the first time ever, researchers at Northwestern University have analyzed the relationship between casual use of marijuana and brain changes – and found that young adults who used cannabis just once or twice a week showed significant abnormalities in two important brain structures. The study’s findings, to be published Wednesday in the Journal of Neuroscience, are similar to those of past research linking chronic, long-term marijuana use with mental illness and changes in brain development. Dr. Hans Breiter, co-senior study author, said he was inspired to look at the effects of casual

Look, everyone loves Sean Connery, particularly Sean Connery. That’s why he plays Sean Connery in every movie he’s in. People love that Scottish brogue so much, they don’t mind that he has it when he plays Juan Sánchez Villa-Lobos Ramírez, an immortal Spaniard in Highlander. The guy even won an Oscar for playing an Irish cop with a Scottish accent. Talk about sexist double standards: Meryl Streep has to master foreign dialects to get her golden statuettes. Connery just has to show up on time. In economics you devalue a currency by printing too much of it. In film you

When it comes to tracking the cost of Obama family vacations, there are two primary challenges. First, the Obamas are prolific jet-setters, so there are many details to track. Second, the Obama administration, clearly embarrassed by these lavish and frequent family vacations, stonewalls the release of records at every turn. But we have been relentless in pursuit of this information. Our attorneys file the lawsuits and make our case, and our investigators pour through pages of records and crunch the numbers. And the information we’ve uncovered – information that would otherwise remain under lock and key – shows that the

Democratic Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren wrote in her forthcoming book that she was “hurt” and “angry” by 2012 reporting on her fraudulent claim to Native American heritage. “What really threw me, though, were the constant attacks from the other side,” Warren wrote in her book “A Fighting Chance.” “I would almost persuade myself that I was starting to get the hang of full-throttle campaigning and then — bam! Out of left field, the state Republican Party, or the Brown campaign, or some blogger, would launch a rocket at me,” Warren wrote, adding, ”I was stunned by the attacks.” This reporter (blogger?) reported extensively

Toddlers show racial bias when picking playmates, a study reveals. They also take account of how fairly others behave. Researchers tested the reaction of white 15-month-olds as toys were distributed. Two white adults divided the toys, one equally and the other unequally. Seventy per cent of the toddlers chose to play with the researcher who distributed the toys fairly. But in a second test, when one researcher favoured a white recipient over an Asian one, they picked the ‘fair’ researcher less often, the journal Frontiers in Psychology reports. And the babies are more likely to help those who share the same ethnicity, which is known as

I live in Las Vegas. I live and breath Nevada politics. Something is very wrong. Something smells rotten in the Nevada desert. And Senator Harry Reid’s fingerprints are all over it. I am of course referring to the Bundy Ranch siege. This was a dispute between a Nevada ranching family with rights to the land in question for 140 years and the BLM (Bureayu of Land Management). The government claims they haven’t paid grazing fees for 20 years. The result was a government assault on the ranch- including snipers with assault rifles, SUV’s, helicopters, airplanes and over 200 heavily armed troops. No

Hank Aaron’s recent comments about the need for America to realize that racism is still very much alive and thriving — only now due to those who wear “neckties and starched shirts” rather than KKK hoods — has sparked an angry backlash and many fans are turning the tables, calling the baseball legend himself a racist. “Hank Aaron is a s*****g piece of [expletive] [racial slur],” one man said in an email to the Atlanta Braves’ front office, one of the teams Mr. Aaron used to play for, CBS News reported. “My old man instilled in my mind from a

Western Washington University sent a questionnaire to students asking them for advice on how the administration could succeed at making sure that in future years, “we are not as white as we are today.” The question notes that WWU’s racial make up does not perfectly reflect the nation at large, and asks students to consider strategies that other universities have used to focus on skin color as the paramount indicator of a student-applicant’s worth. The president of WWU has stated that his explicit goal is to reduce the white population on campus, according to Campus Reform. “I’ve said before and I’ll say it

WASHINGTON — Former President Jimmy Carter joined fellow Nobel laureates Wednesday in opposing Keystone XL, insisting that approving the pipeline would trigger “more climate upheaval” around the globe. In an open letter to President Barack Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry, Carter and the nine other Nobel Peace Prize winners bluntly warned the leaders: “Your decision on the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline will define your climate legacy.” The missive, published as an advertisement in Politico, represents the first time Carter has taken a position on the $5.4 billion project and makes him the first former president to come

How do you ensure that you won’t be ostracized, denounced, or fired if you are a media celebrity, captain of industry, or high public official? For some, sexist banter is certainly no problem. Stand-up comedian Bill Maher called Sarah Palin a c–t and a tw-t, but suffered no ill consequences. David Letterman joked on air that Sarah Palin’s 14-year-old daughter had had sex with Alex Rodriguez during a New York Yankees game. There was no downside to that either. President Obama tosses around “sweetie” as he wishes. No problem with that. No one believes Barack could be condescending to women.
