NY Daily News Editorial Attacks
America’s ‘Immaturity’ for Showing
Anger Over Obamacare’s Lies

Mediaite, by Noah Rothman

We were just asking for it. This is, essentially, what Century Foundation fellow Michael Cohen took to the pages of the New York Daily News on Monday to say. In a profound scolding, Cohen diagnoses America’s “immaturity” as demonstrated by the backlash against President Barack Obama over to his oft-repeated and false claim that every American who was happy with their health insurance would be able to keep their health insurance. This was never true. The president and his staff were aware this was not true as early as February, 2010. Some media outlets reported that, for millions of Americans,

The arrogance of these hateful, ignorant leftists is really getting old. How they can continue to defend this lying Marxist who is destroying us is beyond my comprehension. Maybe they will see it when it hurts them.

Americans do suffer from Immaturity, you silly people, why can´t you deal with a President who may or may not be a natural born American, why should you expect your President to defend the Constitution and the Amendments? Grow up! So there are all of his records hidden from the public, there are no fellow graduates who remember him and you complain, what´s your point?

Sarcasm off!

These socialist ideologues are really feeling so much in control that they are no longer even trying to hide their objectives and their methods. "Yeah, he lied, but it´s good for you, you ungrateful peasants!" Or something to that effect.

Time to show these revolutionaries what happens when they drop their cloaking devices and finally reveal their intentions to a nation of patriots.

I guess what Cohen is really saying is that being black, Barack Obama cannot be expected to take full responsibility for his own actions, and being socialist, he has an obligation to deceive "for the cause". At least, this is the message the MSM surely has been sending out to the low-information masses.

Mr. Cohen´s moral compass is always pointing "left". When you have no point of reference between right and wrong, you are a person who is able to justify any behavior. There are no absolutes. Situational ethics defines his morality. He and his comrades will go absolutely crazy if they believe a Republican has lied, but not so much when dear leader is on record dozens of times telling some pretty big whoppers. Their inability to recognize their own hypocrisy enables them to deny reality. Their truth is always subjective.

I have a number of friends who are atheist but recognize the social benefits of having a loving religion, as part of the foundation of society. A religion that teaches right from wrong, good from evil, loving ones neighbor...along with many other facts for living life with moral character and integrity. That religion is the very one this nation that this nation was founded on but we have been turning our backs on, especially, our President and his regime. CHRISTIANITY !

Liberals are Martians. They don´t think normally and they don´t know how to say "I was wrong" without bashing someone else in the process. What bothers me most is this attitude:

“So accuse Obama of lying about health-care reform,” he concludes, “but understand the simple underlying reality: we can’t handle the truth.”

Who can´t handle the truth? Conservative live by the truth, speak the truth, die by the truth. It´s liberals who can´t handle the truth, not "we" who cannot do so. So let´s clear that up.

The instinct to display contempt for those who react poorly to having been lied to by their president, and who are frustrated at those media outlets that failed to adequately debunk this untruth before they became its victims, is a confusing one.

For God´s sake, it´s not "confusing". We´re pi$$ed we were lied to and pi$$ed that the Left still thinks we were not. That isn´t "confusing" at all.

The liberals have now substituted ´acknowledging the reality´ for ´telling the truth´. And if we would just shut up and do what we are told by our government superiors they wouldn´t have to lie to us. Cohen is an elitist jackass who obviously has no idea who he is talking to.

If Mr. Cohen´s reasoning for calling American that ´show anger over Obamacare Lies´ immature are also low information voters, than I agree. Those of us who knew of Obama´s transformation dream from the start are not angry over Obamacare, but of those that felt that they were going to get something for nothing. Obama said it was going to be ´painful´. Those that voted for Obama apparently thought it was someone else that was going to feel the pain. Welcome to Realville. The time for being angry is over. The time to get even is now and the best way for low information voters to do this is to educate themselves on our political system. Politician´s Lie. Period.

No, Noah, it isn´t confusing - it is encouraging. Over and over again as we grew up, we were told that one of the worst offenses a kid can commit is lying. Now, as adults, when we find out that someone we admired has lied to us with a huge impact to our lives, we have every right to be p!$$ed off.

At least we now recognize that we were sold a "pig in a poke". Americans are like a "sleeping giant", and, once awakened, the giant gets busy and makes corrections. The giant just might break things - like the reputation of a would-be dictator or a socialist party. In fact, a big law suit might put a bunch of the Obama regime in jail. That would probably make 80 percent of Americans feel better knowing that grownup liars are no better than little kids that had to stand in the corner for an hour because they lied.

FTA: ...he notes that catastrophic policies purchased on the individual market “could barely be considered insurance.”

But that is the definition of insurance. If you could afford to pay for something, you wouldn´t need to have insurance. Catastrophic insurance is covering for the things that you could not afford should you need them. Everything else is manageable financially.

But the person that wrote that blurb knows the truth and that is that Marxists consider part of your insurance payment to be for yourself and part of it to be for someone else.

FTA "Acknowledging that reality would have been the honest thing to do. So would asking healthier and wealthier Americans to sacrifice for the greater good of ensuring every American have health-care coverage".

I have notice, for a long time now, that liberals (or whatever you want to call them) are always yelping about how the wealthy are supposed to be sooooo willing to give up their money to help the "less fortunate". But they are NEVER giving up their own money to help anyone. If fact, Obozo has consistently managed to funnel tax payer money to the pockets of his supporters and cronies. As the old saying says, "follow the money"

Following the massacre of grammar-school children in Newtown, Conn., in December 2012, high-powered weapons have been used to kill innocent victims in more senseless public incidents. Those killings, however, are only a fragment of the total harm caused by the misuse of firearms. Each year, more than 30,000 people die in the United States in firearm-related incidents. Many of those deaths involve handguns. The adoption of rules that will lessen the number of those incidents should be a matter of primary concern to both federal and state legislators. Legislatures are in a far better position than judges to assess the

A Nevada cattle rancher appears to have won his week-long battle with the federal government over a controversial cattle roundup that had led to the arrest of several protesters. Cliven Bundy went head to head with the Bureau of Land Management over the removal of hundreds of his cattle from federal land, where the government said they were grazing illegally. Bundy claims his herd of roughly 900 cattle have grazed on the land along the riverbed near Bunkerville, 80 miles northeast of Las Vegas, since 1870 and threatened a "range war" against the BLM on the Bundy Ranch website after one of

Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-CA) is now accusing the Keystone pipeline of being a cancer risk. Her first point was that the pipeline “will bring 830,000 barrels of dirty tar sands oil into our nation every day.” She then segued to point #2 by asserting that the heavy tar sands oil will put people who live near refineries at risk for cancer: Significantly higher levels of dangerous air pollutants and carcinogens have been documented downwind from tar sands refineries, and in these areas people are suffering higher rates of the types of cancers linked to these toxic chemicals, including leukemia and

Recently elected Democratic Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe is warning that global warming could raise sea levels high enough to flood the Hampton Roads region, home to the world´s largest naval base, without immediate and “smart decisions.” Addressing an environmental summit this week at the Virginia Military Institute in Lexington, Va., McAuliffe embraced climate change, blamed humans for causing it, and said action is needed now to protect Virginia´s coast from rising ocean levels that will result from global warming. “The first big decision of course is to accept that climate change is real,” he told the group. “I happen to believe in

President Obama stood Friday with the Rev. Al Sharpton and accused Republicans of trying to keep millions of Americans from voting, in a fiery speech days after new revelations about Sharpton’s past as an FBI informant. “The right to vote is threatened today in a way that it has not been since the Voting Rights Act became law nearly five decades ago,” Obama told the annual convention of Sharpton’s National Action Network in Manhattan. Obama’s appearance represented a presidential seal of approval of Sharpton’s role as a civil rights activist, amid the new revelations about how Sharpton used a wire to record

As President Obama spoke of old "wounds” at Fort Hood this week, the White House declined a request from a survivor of the 2009 massacre there to meet with Obama for a few minutes so the veteran could explain face-to-face how he believes the government has mistreated and disrespected the victims of that attack. Staff Sgt. Alonzo Lunsford (ret.) was shot seven times in November 2009 when Army psychiatrist Maj. Nidal Hasan opened fire at Fort Hood, killing 13 people. Despite Hasan’s admission that he carried out the attack on behalf of the Taliban and revelations that he had been

Say what you will about Sens. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and Ted Cruz (R-Tex.), but they know a train wreck when they see it. They also know when to separate themselves from the cranks and the losers on the right. Although both supported the shutdown and were heartily supported by tea party groups in their own Senate races, neither one has endorsed Matt Bevin in Kentucky, Milton Wolf in Kansas or Chris McDaniel in Mississippi. In fact, Cruz’s office confirms he hasn’t endorsed anyone in the primaries. He may weigh in after the primaries. Rand Paul has endorsed two very establishment

President Obama labeled complaints about voter fraud “bogus” and accused Republicans of cynically trying to prevent Americans from accessing the polls in a fiery speech Friday at a civil rights forum hosted by Al Sharpton. Obama argued that attempts in some states to impose new voter identification restrictions were actually efforts by Republicans to make “it harder, not easier to vote.” And the president said that while voter fraud should be prevented, it rarely occurred. “So let´s be clear, the real voter fraud is the people who try to deny our rights by making bogus arguments about voter fraud,” Obama said. The last rancher in southern Nevada has won his battle to graze cows on public land after a week-long stand off with federal agents. The Bureau of Land Management today said it would stop trying to seize the cattle of Cliven Bundy after armed militia members today continuing to gather in Nevada in a confrontation with federal agents. BLM Director Neil Kornze said: ´Based on information about conditions on the ground, and in consultation with law enforcement, we have made a decision to conclude the cattle gather because of our serious concern about the safety of employees and members of

A brazen flash mob has been caught on camera storming a California store and making off with $20,000 worth of sunglasses. Surveillance footage shows eight women piling into a Sunglass Hut and crowding around display cases. Shielding workers from what they´re doing, they quickly stuff dozens of fashion specs into their bags. A store clerk pleads with them to stop, before running out of the shot to get help and dial 911. The thieves then all bolt outside and escape in a waiting SUV. The incident occurred at the Valencia Town Center mall, in Santa Clarita, at 3 p.m. on
