Will Sarah Palin have a second act?
USA Today, by Susan Page

ASHEVILLE, N.C. — Before Ted Cruz burst on the national political scene, there was Sarah Palin. After Ted Cruz, is there still much of a place for her? Sarah Palin, 49, is the original hero of the Tea Party, rallier of the right wing and basher of Barack Obama. But it has been five years since she gained a place in the history books as John McCain´s surprise choice of running mate on the Republican presidential ticket. Four years since she unexpectedly resigned as Alaska governor before her term was up. Two years since she bypassed the chance to jump into the

I love Sarah Palin. That said, two things come to mind.

1. While experienced, I would prefer someone more experienced. She isnt my "first" choice.
2. The press has successfully destroyed this woman. She is viewed as a moron by even many republicans.

Sarah would scare the tar out of any establishment republican she chose to run against. After Obama, a lot of people are starting to recognize that she was bullseye on death panels.

Keep in mind that like Ted Cruz, Gov. Palin has stood against the MSM alone as well as many in her own party. She has courageously spoken the truth, even knowing she would suffer the slings and arrows of the naysayers.
God bless you Sarah and the courage you have shown to speak truth to power.

If you think Couric is brilliant, #9, then I´m not sure what to make of your opinion of the indefatigable Governor Palin.

McCain´s handlers did their best to hamstring Sarah and she still lit up the nation with her honesty, courage and enthusiasm.
Whoever believes the msm has permanently destroyed Sarah, gives the media way too much credit.

The soviet union was destroyed by the likes of Reagan, Thatcher and Pope John Paul...they simply had the courage and the faith to talk about liberty and behold!...it happened by the will of the people who heard and believed it could happen.

Do not underestimate how greatly the human spirit will fight for freedom if only they can hear it loud and clear and know they are not alone.
Sarah says it. Cruz says it. Lee says it.
They are the leaders.

Ah yes. The Katie Couric interview. Heavily edited for the obvious purposes of slanting the coverage of Palin. When has Palin been wrong about the GOP, the Dems, Obama, Obamacare or the economy?

Anyone who brings up the flagrantly deceptive Couric interview as proof of anything is admitting that they actually have no idea why they hate Palin. They just do and that´s that.

Sarah has not been "destroyed" by the loathsome MSM. The loathsome MSM tries to destroy anyone who seriously threatens Dear Leader and Our Glorious Socialist Future. They´d do it to a black, to a hispanic, to a gay, to a transgendered hispanic gay, to anyone. They want us to believe that Sarah Palin has been discredited forever (because of her own bumbling and unserious Alaskan way of talking - a total lie), but whoever would take her place as spokesman for the American Right would encounter the same hate-filled libel and slander from the same loathsome MSM and be thus "destroyed", too.

In a sad way, it´s good she never had to serve as VP under McCain, whose self-confidence issues compel him to chronically act like and whimper for the approval of the Socialist Democrats. And I´m convinced she didn´t run in 2012 more because of back-stabbing within the GOP Establishment than any fear she couldn´t beat Obama.

Run, Sarah, run.

Anti-Palin posters get to say their piece and others get to comment on what they say. Intelligent posts tend to draw thoughtful responses. "Go away Sarah" is playground taunting and thus gets treated that way. As for the Sisters of Mercy above, have either of you ever chided posters for attacking Palin supporters unfairly? If not, then it really isn´t about fair play on the site for you. It´s about Palin.

Gov. Chris Christie, R-N.J., turned down the opportunity to bash the mainstream media on Friday, when interviewed by Fox News host Megyn Kelly. Kelly pointed out, during a part of the interview aired on Friday, that there was an unprecedented volume of negative media coverage surrounding the bridge controversy in New Jersey. In a way it´s the oddest bit of ObamaCare propaganda we´ve seen so far. The party has traditionally had trouble with older voters, losing the group aged 65 and over by 21 points in 2010 — when Republicans picked up 63 seats — and by 12 points in the 2012 presidential race. Seniors are the GOP’s most reliable voting bloc in midterm years, turning out in higher numbers than Democratic base voters. A recent Gallup poll showed seniors have become even more Republican over the last two decades; in 2013, 48 percent considered themselves Republican. That spells trouble for Democrats, who are already facing
