Marathon talks on a deal to temporarily curb Iran´s nuclear program have broken down after a negotiations between foreign ministers ran into trouble late last night.[Snip] U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry and foreign ministers of six other delegations conferred with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif in a late-night session which broke up after midnight. The French foreign minister, Laurent Fabius, told France Inter radio yesterday that Paris would not accept a ´sucker´s deal´. They complained the text which was drafted as part of the agreement had been presented a ´fait accompli´ and did not want to be forced

Surely there is someway Obama can manage to announce, "Peace In Our Time," and seal his claim as an even bigger fool than Jimmah.

It is not known whether, during the marathon talks, Kerry brought up his strategic support for the communist Viet Cong and Sandinistas, or his reasons for calling American soldiers in Iraq "terrorists". Have American interests ever had such a loyal and insightful supporter than John Kerry? I´m sure the Iranians understand where he´s coming from.

Hollande is a complete disaster as far as his domestic policies and his high tax policy could be his undoing. But strangely enough he´s a hawk on foreign policy.I´m sure Obama and kerry will peck away at him with some foreign aid money to get him to roll over.

None of these leftoid zombies think about the consequences of backing Obama on the Iran deal. Oil futures could skyrocket if Iran eventually announces they have an operation nuke missile.

If you mention nuclear energy around a leftist, they go into a nearly catatonic reaction because of a possible meltdown. But they have no concern about the collateral damage an exploded nuke could do in the middle east or southern Europe.

France won´t be forced by Lurch into a sucker´s deal. What France means is that they won´t be complicit to Barry´s done deal to allow Iran to manufacture as many atomic missiles as they want.

Jon French Carree, Vietnam hero and windsurfer extraordinaire could not convince the French to go along with barry´s treason? What are we going to do about the sanctions against Iran that have already been lifted in anticipation of this deal? Could it be that barry outguessed himself again? Wendy Sherman, former social worker and now the Chief Nuclear Negotiator for the US (a title she also held under Bill Clinton when she adroitly negotiated to prevent the North Koreans from becoming a nuclear power) is in charge of our negotiations with Iran.

Sensing a deal was imminent, our praiseworthy SoS, John."I ´earned´ 3 Purple Hearts" Kerry, swooped into Geneva to take ´credit´ for the agreement.

Happily enough, our French amis thwarted the disaster (for now) and thus frustrated our enemies: Obama, Kerry, Rouhani.

France will be shown the error of her ways and the deal with the Devil will be closed o/a 20 November. "Swift Boat" John will probably be there.

[A former social worker as the (already once failed) Chief Nuclear Negotiator for the USA?!! That´s almost as far-fetched as having a community organizer for president....]

Whoever it was must really want a deal bad, and is likely very inexperienced in dealing with the world, especially the obstinate French, who do not usually accept what they call a "fait accompli" unless there is a lot in there for France.

One week ago, President Obama was celebrating. 7.1 million Americans had signed up to his landmark law. Today however, it’s the same old story. Once again, Obamacare is critical. The latest crisis? For Americans who don’t yet possess health insurance, the US health care market is now effectively on lockdown until the year’s end. Yes, you heard that right. [Snip] The flowing narrative is all too clear--didn’t sign up by the President’s shifting deadlines? Take a hike. This latest incident speaks volumes about Obamacare--a law that was born in arrogant partisanship and is now defined by utter absurdity.

Republicans on the powerful House Ways and Means Committee won a vote Wednesday demanding the Justice Department criminally prosecute Lois Lerner, the former Internal Revenue Service official at the center of a scheme to slow-walk tax-exempt applications from conservative groups. They claim she committed three federal crimes punishable by a total of 11 years in prison. The panel voted 23-14, along party lines, to approve a letter instructing Attorney General Eric Holder to charge Lerner and prosecute her in court. How does the Republican Party establishment choose its presidential candidate? Typically, constitutionalists accuse their establishment rivals of being moderate, risk-averse, stubborn old fools who lack faith in conservative principles. This is a soothing interpretation, as it begins from the hypothesis that the contest between conservatives and the GOP elite is a family feud. But there is another hypothesis -- less soothing, but, at least from an outsider´s bird´s-eye view, more reconcilable with the facts. This hypothesis is that America has reached a stage of progressive soft despotism in which the only important family feud in national politics is between the fundamentally

A caveat right off the bat: RAND’s estimate only runs through March 28 whereas the actual deadline for signing up was March 31st. Given the crush of traffic on Healthcare.gov in late March, many more people could have signed up over those last three days than were captured by these numbers. On the other hand, the White House was claiming six million sign-ups as of March 27. There’s no way to reconcile that with RAND’s data. One of them is wrong. Maybe both, in fact. There’s a big spike in Medicaid, just as everyone expected. There’s a less big but

Attorney General Eric Holder strayed from prepared remarks to slam the way he was “treated” by a House committee the day before, calling it evidence of “ugly and divisive” civil rights challenges facing him and President Barack Obama. Speaking to the Rev. Al Sharpton’s National Action Network at its annual convention in New York on Wednesday, Holder talked about the state of civil rights today and brought up a House committee hearing Tuesday that grew contentious, according to video from Mediaite and reports from outlets including Capital New York. “The last five years have been defined by significant strides and

Eric Holder ventured off script in a speech Wednesday to the National Action Network, the organization led by MSNBC host and recently-exposed FBI informant Al Sharpton. “I’m pleased to note that the last five years have been defined by significant strides and by lasting reforms,” said Holder at the conference of black activists, before improvising “even in the face, even in the face, of unprecedented, unwarranted, ugly, and divisive adversity.” “If you don’t believe that, if you look at the way, forget about me, forget about me, if you look at the way the attorney general of the United States was treated

Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD) could face up to five years in federal prison for obstructing a Congressional proceeding. On Wednesday, Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-CA) and five Subcommittee Chairmen on the committee sent a letter to Ranking Member Cummings demanding an explanation for his staff’s queries from the IRS, why the Minority hid these efforts from the Majority, and why the Ranking Member denied such actions by his staff at a February Subcommittee hearing: “Although you have previously denied that your staff made inquiries to the IRS about conservative organization True the Vote that may have led to additional

A founding father of the conservative movement who is now a star among Tea Party activists is urging the GOP to choose a governor to duel Washington “insider” Hillary Clinton for the White House, saying that 2016 isn´t the best time for Sen. Ted Cruz to run. Often called the “funding father” of conservatism for pioneering direct mail fundraising, Richard A. Viguerie believes that the Texas senator is a “game changer” for the movement but that the best way to beat Clinton is with a candidate from outside the beltway. “I don´t think it would be best for the conservative movement for

As a former President of The Most Powerful Country In The World, George W Bush has significantly greater access to world leaders than most budding artists. (Snip) Art critics have pointed out that a number of the 30 portraits in the exhibition appear to be based on images thrown up by a cursory search of the person´s name in Google Images. In some cases the portrait seems to have been based on the very first image result on the search engine. Rather remarkably, even the portrait of his own father, someone who he surely could have asked to sit for him, appears to be based on an Associated Press portrait which appears on the first page of

This morning I clicked on a link to a Red State website article concerning “The War on Women” and “Paycheck Equality” and got quite a surprise (the same thing happens when a Firefox user goes directly to the article). Nanny Firefox posted a political opinion on my screen before allowing me to proceed to read the article. This message didn’t appear when I accessed a second article which met with Firefox’s political commissar’s approval. Here’s what Firefox said: Careful Now! (shouldn’t they have said “Achtung! or “Verboten!” or something similar?). This website could not be displayed by Firefox because it is not
