Hillary Clinton is the most formidable
presidential frontrunner in modern era

Guardian (UK), by Harry J Enten

Original Article

Posted By:Scottyboy, 11/9/2013 11:02:36 AM

Hillary Clinton remains the most formidable presidential nomination frontrunner for a non-incumbent in the modern era. (snip)The only candidate in my mind who could catch fire, Massachusetts´ Senator Liz Warren, has already declared her support for Clinton. In fact, every single female Democratic senator is behind Clinton. What a difference that is from 2008. Much of the establishment was actually encouraging Obama to run in 2008. Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid weren´t backing Clinton. Claire McCaskill´s endorsement of Obama in 2008 was particularly memorable. All three of them are now openly pleading for and endorsing Clinton for 2016.

Comments:
Barf alert.
The Repubs. will lose to her if they don´t take off the gloves, tie her to 0bama and beat her over the head with her record of deceit, corruption and incompetence INCLUDING her own failed attempt to take over our health care system in 1993.

OP, the Bushes are personally close to Bill and Hillary. Even now, the GOP office holders plus all the strategists never REALLY criticize her. They didn´t when she ran for Senate, during her Senate career or as Sec of State. They have let her completely, purposely get away with no accountability for Benghazi. They will NOT be tough enough on her to win!

Harry J. Enten graduated from Dartmouth in 2011. He majored in government, was fascinated with forecasting, and is especially interested in elections. He apparently has a blog. (doesn´t everyone?) Check him out at Google.

The irony is that he is one of the young naifs who probably voted for Obama last time and will spend the rest of his life paying for it.

Just another wide-eyed young Dem´s attempt to catch public attention - and the Guardian, ever the leftist rag, picked it up.

WRONG. The blowsy, jowled, greasy haired old PIAPS is only the "most formidable" if she´s permitted to be by people who refuse to get involved. No question that she has everything she needs to BE the MOST formidable but that is predicated on "us" allowing it to happen.

Not only will I not support anyone in Hollywood supporting this lying hag, I won´t see their movies, or buy anything that contributes the their bottom line. I am just one person but I´m speaking out everywhere I can, using my email list to send information, and calling my congressman and senators enough that their staffs recognize my voice. Think what could happen if we begin a one by one campaign and each of us pledge to find one other person and ask him or her to do the same. If anyone wants to see what this means in numbers, use the old "what would you rather have a million dollars or one penny that is doubled every day for 30 days?

The left will vote for Hillary, without question. That makes her the ´´most formidable´´ among democrat contenders.

The independents will decide the next president and one can only hope they are sick and tired of the socialist democrats.

Formidable presidential frontrunner? Seriously? The woman is an evil, lying, unintelligent, incompetent, grifter who happens to have no moral compass whatsoever. She is not charismatic, she is not attractive, she has no convictions nor any substance to anything she talks about. In what alternate universe is this woman a formidable frontrunner? She would be destroyed in a debate with Ted Cruz withing minutes.

She is formidable now in the same way that Choom was cool, whipsmart and totally wonderful in 2008: because the progressives and their kneepad media all say that she is.

But firehose off the bondo, turn off the rose-colored spotlights, cut back the "anti-screach" software when she talks and put the fantasy-loving mouth breathers in the back of the hall and what emerges ain´t pretty and ain´t impressive.

Hillary has blood on her hands, and a trail of dead bodies from Benghazi, to Ft. Marcy park to Arkansas.
Will the social experiment continue from the first black man as president (incompetent destroyer) to the first woman president (no accomplishments of her own and unqualified) a real mess as Sec. of State..ask Egypt.
Perhaps the unique idea of hiring the BEST qualified person to try to elevate the Office of President to its proper place should be considered.

The same people who voted for Obama because he was black, will vote for Hillary because she is female. The Dems have the minority vote in their pocket, including even the Jewish community. The Dems have the poor vote. If you´re on food stamps, you´re voting Democrat. The Dems have most of the media working on their side, willing to distort stories for the Dem party. So, Hillary will easily become POTUS because the Republicans will nominate another candidate who is tongue-tied on TV. Yet again, the Republicans message won´t get out. Again, the Dems will accuse the Repubs of being racist and waging a war on women, and the Republicans will not answer. The Repubs need a strong candidate who understands politics.

You have to figure that the liberal Democrats, after analyzing the New York city Mayor´s race where an absolute socialist whipped a liberal Republican candidate, that the liberal Democrats will deduce that the way to beat any Democrat lite candidate who the Republicans are bound to put up is to run an extreme left wing campaign, maybe with both Clinton and Warren on the same ticket in 2016.

Here’s a situation where a black woman in the White House could make a difference. Earlier this week, the U.S. Army released its new appearance and grooming regulations, AR 670-1, and it was a real burn for African-American female soldiers. As of Wednesday afternoon, nearly 8,000 people had signed a petition calling on President Barack Obama to order the Army to reconsider the regulations because they are “racially biased.” The petition

In a special “management alert” made public Thursday, the State Department’s Inspector General Steve Linick warned “significant financial risk and a lack of internal control at the department has led to billions of unaccounted dollars over the last six years. The alert was just the latest example of the federal government’s continued struggle with oversight over its outside contractors. The lack of oversight “exposes the department to significant financial risk,” the auditor said. “It creates conditions conducive to fraud, as corrupt individuals may attempt

Muslim moms and dads in Dearborn, Mich. are upset after students received flyers promoting an Easter Egg hunt at a local Presbyterian church. The parents say the egg hunt violates the U.S. Constitution. The Muslims told the Detroit Free-Press that they were concerned about the religious implications of Cherry Hill Presbyterian Church’s “Eggstravaganza!” They were also troubled by images of a bunny rabbit. “It really bothered my two kids,” parent Majed Moughni, told the newspaper. “My son was like, ‘Dad, I really don’t feel comfortable getting these flyers, telling me to go to church. I thought churches are not supposed

A senior CIA official has died in an apparent suicide this week from injuries sustained after jumping off a building in northern Virginia, according to sources close to the CIA. CIA spokesman Christopher White confirmed the death and said the incident did not take place at CIA headquarters in McLean, Va. “We can confirm that there was an individual fatally injured at a facility where agency work is done,” White told the Washington Free Beacon. “He was rushed to a local area hospital where he subsequently died. Due to privacy reasons and out of respect for the family, we are not releasing

A triumphant President Barack Obama declared Tuesday his signature medical insurance overhaul a success, saying it has made America´s health care system ´a lot better´ in a Rose Garden press conference. But buried in the 7.1 million enrollments he announced in a heavily staged appearance is a more unsettling reality. Numbers from a RAND Corporation study that has been kept under wraps suggest that barely 858,000 previously uninsured Americans – nowhere near 7.1 million – have paid for new policies and joined the ranks of the insured by Monday night.

Following her speech at the “Women of the World Summit” in New York City on Thursday, Hillary Clinton was asked this simple question by a moderator: “When you look at your time as Secretary of State, what are you most proud of? And what do you feel was unfinished, and maybe have another crack at one day?” Here are a few excerpts from her response: ”Look, I really see my role as Secretary, in fact leadership in general in a democracy, as a relay race. When you run the best race you can run, you hand off the baton.” “Some

Earlier this week on Boston’s WRKO-AM’s The Howie Carr Show, conservative commentator Ann Coulter shocked some conservatives when she said she is making 2012 Republican nominee Mitt Romney her favorite for the 2016 Republican contest. Last month in an interview on CBS’s Face the Nation, Romney himself ruled out the possibility of a 2016 run and said he was instead focused on who to get behind in that contest. Coulter, however, wishes otherwise. “Well, don´t tell him but I´m planning on giving Mitt Romney a little more time to rest -- flying out, kidnapping him and depriving him of sleep, food and

A 54-year-old white man has been left barely clinging to life after he was brutally beaten by a group of black men when he got out of his car to check on a young black boy he accidentally hit. Steve Utash, from suburban Roseville, was beaten into a coma Wednesday by an angry mob in a poverty-stricken Detroit neighborhood after David Harris, 10, ran in front of his truck on a busy street, but police insist the incident was not racially motivated. The gang also stole his wallet before leaving him for dead. Utash is in extremely critical

Attorney General Eric Holder disputed a Government Accountability Office report on his use of Justice Department airplanes for personal trips, saying it overstated the number of trips he took and failed to recognize that some trips were job-related. "My staff keeps telling me to take it easy, you know, well, this is one that gets me," Holder told Rep. Frank Wolf, R-Va., during a House Appropriations subcommittee hearing. "There was this notion that we´ve taken -- I think it was described as hundreds of personal trips. That was wrong. GAO counted flights, not round trips. And we looked at it

Accra, Ghana — Jimmy Thorne says that relocating to Ghana is one of the best moves he’s ever made. It doesn’t matter if he, an African-American, gets called “obroni,” the local word for white person, in the streets, or if some of his family can’t quite figure out what he’s doing in this West African nation so far from his roots in North Carolina. (Snip) Whether motivated by love, money, or the desire to rekindle a long-lost connection, black repatriation to Africa remains alive and well, even if it never quite became the high-volume, emotional return to African roots

Reclusive movie star Doris Day greeted fans with a rare smile and a wave from her balcony on Thursday as she rang in her 90th birthday. The Oscar-nominee appeared in great spirits as she made the rather regal gesture from her home in Carmel-by-the-Sea, on California´s north coast - a quiet little enclave also home to Clint Eastwood - the first time she´s been seen in public since 2008. After opening up to Closer Weekly about her milestone birthday, revealing she´s still very much in demand, with scripts pouring in all the time, the silver-haired beauty appeared as sprightly as

Former GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney has sworn off running again for elected office, but Americans have certainly heard that one before. Speculation that Romney might run again has largely been stoked by the reunion he planned to host last month in Park City, Utah, for members of his 2012 campaign and debate team and a string of recent public appearances. He has appeared on TV news shows 12 times in the past six months. That’s essentially on pace with Michigan GOP Rep. Mike Rogers, who led all national politicians last year with 26 appearances over 12 months. Romney has
