Obama: Most People Will Be Better
Off, "They Don´t Necessarily Know
It Right Now"

Real Clear Politics, by Ian Schwartz

PRESIDENT OBAMA: You know, I regret very much that what we intended to do, which is to make sure that everybody is moving into better plans because they want ´em, as opposed to because they´re forced into it. That, you know, we weren´t as clear as we needed to be in terms of the changes that were taking place. And I want to do everything we can to make sure that people are finding themselves in a good position -- a better position than they were before this law happened. Keep in mind that most of the folks who are

Comments:
What is so absolutely shocking about this outrageous statement is that he will never, ever acknowledge that all of this was caused by him. He insults every American by acting like they are too stupid to realize this. What makes it worse is that Chuck Todd sat their like a lump and allows him go get away with this. It´s enough to make your head explode.

"Mr. President, in a hypothetical situation where this turns out to not be the case, what will you do then?"

If we had a functioning Press, which was something Jefferson was counting upon when he did so much to build what we know, that is a question which would be asked.

It´s funny - tragically strange-: These are almost the exact words Hitlers henchmen used to convince threatened and abused Jews to voluntarily be shipped off to "Relocation Camps" before the really nasty stuff started. They even made propaganda films, showing the jews in lovely cabins in the mountains, having pick-nicks and dances- thousands of Jews signed up for it.

Lies lead to more lies and then final solutions.

Obama´s idiocy apparently knows no bounds. Here I am with a policy I have to give up ~ because it no longer has useable hospitalization ~ and everything but my base copayment is fully paid by the federal government.

This one even had the sort of clinic system so beloved by Michelle Obama ~ with affiliated laboratory and pharmacy. Plus an eye center just for the retina.

It used local hospitals with world class facilities and many of the top specialists in the world had privileges there ~ even offices! Facilities were all convenient with plenty of parking!

This policy IS the gold plated federal government employee/retiree policy and ObamaKKKare trashed it like yesterday´s twinky wrapper.

Folks, it ain´t getting better, and there´s no conceivable single payer operation any government could ever create.

Whatever sort of conspiracy is afoot, it is inescapable that Obama and his crowd are CRAZY and should be locked up

The Poser of US in public: "Most People Will Be Better Off, ´They Don´t Necessarily Know It Right Now´"

The Poser of US in private: "We no it´s not true, that´s why we exempted congress and their staff."

All joking aside, that should be the only response to anyone who defends 0bamacare, "If it´s so great, why the select exemptions?"

I am choking with rage, the veins in my neck are sticking out, and I feel like I´m going to have a coronary. I have never been so angry. This man is a stinking bold faced LIAR and his arrogance is so extreme that narcissism doesn´t come close to being descriptive. He and everyone kissing his bony arse beginning with the muslim traitor Valerie Jarrett are co-conspirators in the destruction of our country. To this add what Netanyahu has just said about Iran, Barry´s lifting of sanctions we never even knew about and what HIS plans now include... then add all the executive orders we don´t even know exist and all that´s done and can´t be undone...I don´t know where to even go with all that should be terrifying to anyone in the free world.

When, oh when, oh when will ANYONE in congress take this monster on and look him in the face, call him a STINKING LIAR? I feel as though I´m building the steps that lead to the scaffold where I´ll be hung for having done nothing.

I am sick of these expression! "Most, some, it is only, "
What do these statements say, they only confuse the issue! Take the 5% only 15 million, individual policies cancelled!, the true number is very much higher i . e. As each individual policy may include spouse, children or other dependents.
Smart people hiding facts from a population that does not know or care about reality!

Having outmanuevered F&F, Benghazi and IRS scandals he, and/or his handlers, believe they can just jive their way through this ObamaCare disaster. In fact it´s an ever growing cluster of disasters. When I was in the service they had a name for hopeless situations ill-conceived and riddled with problems... They called it a Cluster something or other.

Anything Obama says about Obamacare is total BS.
For him to say anything, he would have had to read it.
As lazy as he is I doubt he has read a single page.
No one could possibly read the complete law and be able to understand it completely. It is thousands of pages filled with conflicting rules.
When Obama speaks is is simply trying to sell something he knows almost nothing about.
The law was designed to fail down the road, so he and his minions could come out with a single payer system to "save the day".
The problem is that cant even pass a law that will work long enought to fail!
This has got to be a bad dream!

#11, whatever Congress and their staff got exempted from it didn´t help.

They mostly all sign up for Kaiser because there´s a Capitol Hill center, or a $2 cab ride away there´s Kaiser´s West End operation.

However, they live in Virginia, and that´s where their friends and families live and if they get hospitalized that´s going to be 75 miles away in Baltimore from now on.

Obamakkkare took away their insurance, their doctor and their hospital! So how is that being exempted from anything?

Seems to me Senator Grassley screwed all of them.

The Marxist Dictatorship of the Proletariat: a temporary measure whereby the enlightened revolutionary comrades take over and make decisions in the best interest of the workers until the latter are relieved of their False Consciousness which causes them to choose against their best interests. The revolutionary comrades know what is in the best interests of the workers and only desire to do good, unlike the capitalist exploiters and their tools in the bourgeoisie. The workers will thank them when they enjoy the fruits of the comrade´s labors. They always do, in every communist and socialist society that has succeeded in achieving social and economic justice.

#24, I don´t truly do not understand your point.

My point is that if we´ll be better off, why shouldn´t congress and their staffers be better off.

Millions of Americans have had their lives turned upside down by this disaster. Why should I, or anyone else care if they live and VA and no longer have hospitals in their area. Nobody gives a flying F if the great unwashed is screwed over.

The law should be applied to every citizen equally, no exceptions. Screw congress and their staff, they should have read it before passing it. Thanks to these dispecible people, I´m now paying 75% more for coverage I don´t need or want with an increase in deductible of $8500; oh and by the way, I can´t even keep my freaking doctor.

I know it now, I´ve been fed a big old crap sandwich and I´m furious.

A fascinating article by Francis Wilkinson appeared in Bloomberg View last week (h/t Instapundit). Wilkinson detailed the fact that income inequality between whites and blacks is worse in leftist cities: Minneapolis-St. Paul. San Francisco. Chicago. Even Madison, Wisconsin. If you are politically liberal and value relatively high levels of income equality, you might live in one of these quintessentially liberal U.S. cities. Yet all four lurk in the bottom half of the 2014 National Urban League’s State of Black America report on income inequality between blacks and whites. Among the many places where black-white income is less skewed are Phoenix, Arizona,

Here are a few things missing from President Obama´s statement Tuesday marking the anniversary of the 2013 terrorist bombing of the Boston Marathon: • The word "terrorism." • The word "bombing." • The fact that the bombers were motivated by Islamist extremist beliefs. This was no rogue incompetent tinkering with America´s health care. This was one of Obama´s chief lieutenants, one who was doing his bidding every step of that treacherous road they traveled together. Don´t get me wrong; Sebelius was inexcusably bad — arrogant, defiant, uncompassionate, dogmatic and unrepentant. Neurosurgeon Ben Carson says the White House wanted him to apologize for “offending” President Obama after he famously delivered a conservative message at the National Prayer Breakfast last year. Carson, the former director of pediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital, recalls the events surrounding his 2013 speech in his new book, One Nation: What We Can All Do To Save America’s Future. The Daily Caller obtained an advance copy of the book, which is set for release May 20. “He did not appear to be hostile or angry,” Carson writes of Obama, “but within a matter of minutes after the conclusion of

On Fox News Sunday, political analyst Brit Hume said that Eric Holder’s claim that his treatment at the hands of Representative Louie Gohmert (R-TX) at a House hearing this week was unprecedented toward an Attorney General, made him a “crybaby,” and that he and President Barack Obama had in fact benefited “enormously” from being the first African Americans in their respective positions. “This strikes me as kinda crybaby stuff from Holder,” Hume said. “My sense about this is both Eric Holder and Barack Obama have benefited politically enormously from the fact that they are African American and the first to

They’re both qualified, respectful of each other (shocker!), and represent the vast majority of middle America. So what’s not to like about another Clinton/Bush race for 2016? When you mention the prospect of Clinton vs. Bush 2016 a funny thing happens. First, there is the reflexive response: "Oh no, not again. We don´t need more dynastic politics in this country." But upon further reflection, you realize Jeb Bush vs. Hillary Clinton would be a great race and actually good for the country. Let´s review. QUALIFICATIONS—THEY’VE BOTH GOT THEM. Barack Obama won the presidency because in an election where the premium was on change, it mattered little

A rapid shift to wind and solar power is needed if the world is to avoid catastrophic global warming, the United Nations warns in a crucial report today. Emissions of greenhouse gases need to be cut by up to 70 per cent before 2050 to control climate change, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) says. ‘Large-scale changes in energy systems’ are required, with coal power stations to be switched off and replaced by wind and solar. And the transformation needs to be made in the next 15 years or controlling climate change will become increasingly harder and more expensive. The report was published

Chelsea Clinton says when people ask her these days whether she wants to go into politics, her answer isn’t an automatic “no.” The 34-year-old former first daughter told Fast Company in an interview published Monday, “for so long the answer was just a visceral no. Not because I had made any conscientious, deliberate decision, but since people had been asking for as long as literally I could remember, it was no." Now, the only child of former President Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton explains, "I live in a city and a state and a country where I

President Obama inspired a generation of young people to support his historic election in 2008. And in 2012, despite the struggles of his first term, Mr. Obama still managed to win the support of a full 60% of voters age 18-29. But the man who once dreamed of being a transformative leader in the Reagan mold is inspiring few of those young people to follow his lead. "For all the talk about the movement that elected Mr. Obama, the more notable movement of Obama supporters has been away from politics. It appears that few of the young people who voted

Although the Civil Rights Act, the landmark legislation which just reached its 50th anniversary, made great strides in desegregating the economy, economic discrimination is still widespread, and anti-discrimination legislation alone can never rectify the economic damage inflicted upon blacks by slavery and our Jim Crow apartheid regime. The Civil Rights Act was a mild reform, all things considered, but one conservatives fought with vigor and one many conservatives are still bitter about to this day. When the Civil Rights Act passed in 1964, the primary purpose was to root out discrimination in public accommodations (like hotels and movie theaters)

On Saturday, I wrote about the standoff at Bundy Ranch. That post drew a remarkable amount of traffic, even though, as I wrote then, I had not quite decided what to make of the story. Since then, I have continued to study the facts and have drawn some conclusions. Here they are. First, it must be admitted that legally, Bundy doesn’t have a leg to stand on. The Bureau of Land Management has been charging him grazing fees since the early 1990s, which he has refused to pay. Further, BLM has issued orders limiting the area on which Bundy’s cows can

LAS VEGAS — The Nevada Republican Party stripped opposition to abortion and gay marriage from its platform Saturday as state convention delegates instead focused on judging fellow Republicans on their worthiness to serve in office and adherence to GOP values. The platform, with few changes, was adopted overwhelmingly as the Las Vegas convention stretched late into the evening. The vote mirrors that of the Clark County GOP, which voted earlier to remove platform language defining marriage as between a man and a woman and statements opposing abortion. Many Republicans are re-evaluating their strong stances on conservative social issues as public

President Obama pulled a surprise move Monday at the White House’s Easter Prayer Breakfast when he selected Gene Robinson to lead the closing prayer. Robinson is famously known as the first openly gay Episcopal bishop. Talking Points Memo’s Tom Kludt spotted the following tweet from Robinson, who was in attendance: (Tweet) Robinson, 66, became diocesan bishop of New Hampshire in March 2004. He retired in January 2013 and is currently a senior fellow at the progressive

A Russian fighter jet made multiple, close-range passes near an American warship in the Black Sea for more than 90 minutes Saturday amid escalating tensions in the region, a U.S. military official said Monday. In the first public account of the incident, the official said the Russian Fencer flew within 1,000 yards of the USS Donald Cook, a Navy destroyer, at about 500 feet above sea level. Ship commanders considered the actions provocative and inconsistent with international agreements, prompting the ship to issue several radio queries and warnings. The fighter appeared to be unarmed and never was in danger of

Some time back, whenever a big racial controversy erupted, I trained myself into the habit of reading about it at FoxNews.com, just for the unbelievable comment threads. Let’s put it this way: If my friends and I went out to a bar and started playing a “let’s write the racist FoxNews.com comment thread” drinking game, our efforts couldn’t begin to approach what I read there.I wasn’t alone. Liberal websites started feasting on these threads. And so, a couple of years ago, Ailes & Co. got wise. Stories about race were, at least in my disheartened experience, closed to comments.
