New York’s incoming first

Bill de Blasio’s liberal policies aren’t the only thing on display as he moves onto the national stage as New York’s mayor-elect. His family’s hair is also front and center. For those just tuning in: Wife Chirlane McCray’s long dreadlocks are often pulled into a smart, flowing ponytail. Son Dante’s famously large Afro stands triumphant. His daughter, Chiara, wears her loose, kinky locks framed with a band of roses. For a rare instant in the nation’s electoral history, the African American hair politic is on full display. The hair aesthetic of de Blasio’s family speaks to the political moment and

A family of Communist Freaks now rules NYC. Make no mistake, and let me be perfectly clear, RULES is the exact correct word.

The only thing I see coming from this is an influx of Leftists fleeing NYC to Texas and other low tax, low crime, low government intrusion states. The problem with that is, those leftists flee and within three years they forget why the fled and begin foisting their Leftist politics upon the citizens of the state that have infested with their presence.

After remarks he made at the National Action Network conference this week and various actions on voting rights and equality he’s taken over the past several months, MSNBC’s Melissa Harris-Perry is starting to wonder if Attorney General Eric Holder is “the Obama we had been hoping for.” Even though she admitted it’s not entirely fair to “separate” Holder from President Barack Obama, that’s the question the host posed to her panel Saturday morning. “I think he may be the greatest addition to the entire Obama Administration,” Fordham University’s Christina Greer told Harris-Perry, saying the “foundational work”

KIEV/MOSCOW - Armed separatists took virtual control of a city in eastern Ukraine on Saturday and Kiev prepared troops to deal with what it called an "act of aggression by Russia". Pro-Russian activists carrying automatic weapons seized government buildings in Slaviansk and set up barricades on the outskirts of the city. Official buildings in several neighboring towns were also attacked. The developments have increased concerns of a possible "gas war" that could disrupt energy supplies across the continent.
