Feinstein links LAX to gun control
Politico, by Jonathan Topaz

Sen. Dianne Feinstein says the shooting at the Los Angeles International Airport underscores the need for an assault weapons ban and greater gun control measures. Appearing on CBS´s "Face the Nation" Sunday, Feinstein paid tribute to fallen TSA officer Gerardo Hernandez, the first TSA employee to die in the line of duty, then turned her attention to guns. A strong supporter of an assault weapons ban, the California Democrat said, “the weapon was a .223 MP-15, where the MP stands for military and police, clearly designed not for general consumption … Same gun that was used at

Feinstein knows, or should know, that about 90 percent of all crime involving firearms that a handgun was used.

The ´assault rifle´ controversy is just a smokescreen for a total ban on all firearms. The left also doesn´t like the idea of armed citizens with military equipment. Like all would-be despots armed civilians make them nervous.

Ridiculous illogical thinking by a leftist idiot. If the Daisy Red Ryder BB gun changed its name to M&P Assault Rifle then it would be banned also? The M&P 15 is a semi automatic rifle use by hunters all over the country. Every time there is a shooting these leftist twits call for an all out ban on a gun of some kind. It´s getting tedious.

Dimocrats thrive on these mass shootings. Usually the bodies aren´t even cold yet before they are fund raising and driving their agendas on the exploitation of the dead.

Ms. Feinstein should show a goodwill effort toward her desired policy by testing it using her own family and inner circle. All of their firearms should be given up and all security details involving her and those most dear to her should not include firearms for their protection.

#8 ~ immediately after we heard the news from the Aurora Colorado movie theatre I went to the sites on the net that provide listings of officers in corporations including members of boards.

The first US Senator to mouth off was Lautenburg ~ and he was on a board of a holding company that controlled most of the outstanding shares of stock in the company that owned the theatre.

The first big dog politician to mouth off was Mayor of New York, Bloomberg. He was also on a board (through a trust fund) that had the same link to the holding company and the theater.

Then there was the top dog at the New York Daily News, and lo and behold, the same old same old.

They were all out hocking about it within an hour of each other.

At the time I thought "Well, they may have hired the guy". Or maybe they didn´t need to hire him. Could be all four of them listen to the same voices!

That would be a greater problem. But let me say this about all of that, I have a good idea where Lautenberg is at the moment, and Feinstein will no doubt end up in the same place.

The lack of officers with guns enabled the criminal to come into the airport.
Officers who showed up stopped the criminal using their weapons.

The people who decided to save a bit of money using roving patrols made this happen and I suspect no money was saved but diverted to other areas that really wasn´t needed. Criminals are always on the lookout for weakness. These people who want a gun free zone just want to be targets.

The guy at LAX is crazy and his objective was to become a suicide by cop victim. Just before he went to LAX he told his family that he was going to take his own life, he just did not tell them how he planned to do that. Nobody in his or her right mind would walk into an international airport, a place teeming with armed police, and start shooting, without knowing that the police would shoot back, and either kill or wound and capture him. Him attacking the so-called "New World Order" by targeting individual TSA agents is crap, as most of those low level TSA people don´t have a clue about the "New World Order" and are simply trying to earn a living.

Politicians like this Feinstein are actually encouraging more such "copycat" mass shootings by assisting the media, to at least in the minds of the dangerous mentally ill, building up the significance of what the guy did at LAX and giving them the idea that they too can go out in a blaze of glory.

The problem is that we have a very small percentage of mentally ill people running around the streets who are truly dangerous both to themselves, and to innocent bystanders, and because of very liberal treatment protocols and custody rules, neither the mental health profession or law enforcement can deal effectively with them. That just gives politicians like Feinstein the opportunity to push the liberal Democrats´ gun control agenda that is designed to take all modern firearms away from everybody except of course the elites and the rich and famous.

MAY? there should be a trial in the morning if found guilty he should be given a cigarette and then its lights out. If a dog attacks a child that dog is put down before the child gets medical attention. This should not be about enacting new laws, enforce the ones you have!

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT RUSH: I´ve gotta tell, another little thing about Nelson Mandela. Do you realize in a couple of ways, maybe even more than a couple, Nelson Mandela has more in common or had more in common with Clarence Thomas than he does with Barack Obama? For example, Nelson Mandela (even prior to becoming president, but certainly after he became president of South Africa) insisted on compliance with his country´s constitution. He insisted on it. Obama looks at the US Constitution as an obstacle and makes end runs around it every day, practically. In that sense... These are the kind of

To fully appreciate what former South African president Nelson Mandela was able to accomplish, it is necessary to hearken back to the South Africa he found when he emerged from prison in 1990, and what the country was like in those critical four years between his release and his election to the presidency in 1994. Put simply, South Africa was a violent, dangerous and heavily-armed place teetering precariously on the edge of an all-out race war. And in the early 1990s, it was entirely unclear which way the country would go. On one side, embittered white rejectionists were refusing to

Nelson Mandela was the most famous black man in history. He transcended race barriers to become an exemplar of human generosity of spirit.
