House Republican Circulating Petition
to Push Immigration Reform

Breitbart Big Government, by Tony Lee

Original Article

Posted By:SpeedMaster, 11/3/2013 5:52:39 AM

The third House Republican to support the comprehensive immigration bill introduced by House Democrats is circulating a petition to House Republicans to pressure House Republican leaders to bring up comprehensive immigration reform legislation this year. On Friday, Rep. David Valadao (R-CA) said he was "hoping to get a decent number" of signatures, according to the Washington Post. Reps. Jeff Denham (R-CA) and Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL) are the other two Republicans who have come out in support of the Senate´s immigration bill that provides a pathway to citizenship for the country´s illegal immigrants with less stringent border security provisions.

These "republicans" represent states that already have huge illegal immigrant populations and have a lot of trouble with them through crime and drugs. Why do they need more? Who is paying these reps to support this?

Just like obamacare, the majority of Americans do not want more immigrants, we want actual border security instead of the show that is going on now.

The way I see it, we have enough on our plate right now with this Obamacare debacle. Why bring such a big divisive issue to the forefront now? It really is simple. The dems need a voting block in place to offset the angry democrats who will stay home or actively vote against them. If Obamacare taught us anything, it is that passing legislation while in "crisis mode" is not good. We have had enough manufactured crises foisted upon us by the progressive crowd. With our economy tanking does it really make sense to legalize millions of mostly unskilled laborers? This battle between progressives in both parties and traditional Americans is epic and has to be won. Either we push back hard at those in our own party and the democrats or we just roll over and let them fundamentally transform this country. The millions flooding our country adhere to a socialist philosophy. They don´t come here to live the American dream. They come with their socialist mindset and will enthusiastically embrace the progressive ideology of the nanny state. The progressives know they have this one last hurdle to cross in order to realize their dream. They are going all in. We need to deny them the victory. Nothing on immigration until the border is secure. Not one darn thing. American citizens should be the first consideration, not the last. They pay the bills. Fight the wars and keep this country going. Mexico needs the fundamental transformation, not us.

They need to be brought back to America. Stop that flow of upstairs maids and lawnboys ~ or, in one case, I guess it´d be ´cabana boys´.

Close the borders, then we´ll talk. I would support a pathway to citizenship if I knew the unfettered, illegal immigration was under control.

Passing the current immigration bill with no changes, is suicide to the Elitist Republican/Tea Party...or whatever you want to call the mess in DC this week.

Focus on 1) shutting down Zerocare by the end of the year and passing legislation to reverse the insurance policy cancellations due to kick in Jan 14; 2)passing a 2014 budget with cuts and no new taxes; 3) setting a debt ceiling that reflects those cuts; 4) passing individual 2015 budget bills for each department/agency for the FY due to start 9/2014; 5) complete the investigations of and publish the final reports on ´the Benghazi massacre´- ´fast and furious´ - the "IRS political attacks on the Tea Party´ - ´Solyndra/green energy payola´ - ´the contracts awards for Obamacare scandal´- ´Keystone pipeline approval - (please feel free to add to list) --- do your job and you won´t have time to play politics with Amnesty...

If House Republicans do not bring up immigration reform this year, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) recently said Republicans may try to pass comprehensive immigration reform next year--after the primaries--when Republicans do not have to fear challenges from the conservative wing of the party.

Marxist Democrat/Republican.

We need a conservative party more powerful than these combined Marxist party members.

Both of the existing parties are for a One World Government with Marxism as the controlling philosophy.

The ultimate party litmus test: given a veto-proof legislature, will Republicans finally start to reduce the scope and size of government? It looks like the answer is no. In 2013, North Carolina was just one of 25 states where Republican governors were given historic opportunity to govern alongside Republican-controlled legislatures. Despite conservative voters’ best hopes, any sensible mandate to restore individual and economic freedom flew out the window when the FY 2013-14 budget was approved, reauthorizing the formerly Democratic state’s blueprint budget with a tragic 2.0-percent increase in general fund appropriations.

The danger is this: In the USA’s upcoming 2014 elections, Republican elites assume that everyone all now agrees that conservatives ‘must’ support non-conservative candidates to win more elections. The GOP is operating on the belief that everyone is on board, simply because insiders have officially decreed it to be so. However, the grassroots in the USA remains unconvinced. Worse, the Republican establishment has no plan for truly healing the actual wounds. Elites want to avoid change more fervently than they do want to win elections. Russia´s Putin has invaded his neighbor’s sovereign territory. He must and will face serious repercussions for doing so, and the international community must make the price severe. Unless we are willing to go to war for Ukraine—and I believe that would be unwise—Russia without question has the military might and geographic advantage to control the Crimea and the Russian dominated areas of Ukraine. Russia’s invasion of Crimea is a tipping point event that will further spur the American oil boom. The European Union (EU) and United States in 2008 threatened to slap economic sanctions on Russia for invading Georgia. But after a while the criticism faded and threats of sanctions were quietly dropped, because the EU is almost entirely reliant on Russia for energy supplies.
