In sad news from the land of McCain, “Raising McCain” host and McCain family scion Meghan McCain said in an interview with ABC and Yahoo News that her father, Senator John McCain (R-AZ), was “frustrated” and “depressed” by the Tea Party. Meghan termed the Tea Party the “hyper-conservative wing.” She said, “We’re both frustrated with the idea that only the hyper-conservative wing of the party is going to represent the masses.” The last time dad was this depressed, Meghan reported, was after he lost the presidency to then-Senator Barack Obama. Meghan said, “He is so depressed. He is so downtrodden. The way

When a fella reaches a certain age and the mind goes, he needs to do the right thing and go off by himself like the Commanche men used to and sit by himself and reflect on his navel and try to remember when he was in his right mind... if he ever was which would be nigh on to impossible for McCain because... well, he has good reason to be frustrated, don´t he?

Getting frustrated with "the people" beginning to push back against the loss of freedom, an ever growing burden of carrying more of their neighbors on their backs, incomes at 1995 levels, government spending close to double 1995 levels, with no defined stopping point or goal of the transformed vision short of slavery; not sure I can help with the problem. Perhaps an enormous episode of flatulence will dislodge the only thing he might use to figure us out.

What Meghan and her father need to understand is that the Tea party was formed in large part due to the failure of Sen McCain to properly represent his constituents.

The Tea Party wasn´t founded DESPITE McCain, but BECAUSE of him.

No, Meghan...daddy is ´depressed´ because the newer wave of republicans (tea party) dont want to kiss up to he and the good old boy system that have ruined the party.
He is ´frustrated´ because he realizes that seantors who actually listen to, and stand up for their constituents ,and then have the audacity to actually do the things they campaigned on, are a threat to the applecart that he and his good old boy cronies have enriched themselves on for too long.
Yes Meghan, change can be both frustrating and depressing.

I just had a letter from John McCain asking me for money for the GOP. I sent a reply to them to let them know that after McCain´s inexcusable attitude recently toward Sen. Cruz, he was absolutely the LAST person who should be asking me for money, and that any money I had to donate to politicians would go directly to conservatives who were running for office.

Dear Meghan,

Your daddy lost because he refused to campaign, that is to say he refused to contrast himself against his opponent. Furthermore, the one bright spot in his campaign, Sarah Palin was effectively muzzled after the convention. When you refuse to fight, and refuse to allow your team to flight, can you really be surprised that you lost.

Your daddy has endorsed the Muslim Brotherhood, has run interference for the administration with regards to Benghazi, and has never missed an opportunity to praise Hillary Clinton.

The reality is that your daddy and you are more comfortable in the Democrat Party, save that little annoying fact that Arizona is a Republican state.

So, daddy is depressed, well he should be. He can only lie about his beliefs for so long.

Best advice for Meghan:

1. Thank your father for his military service (regardless of his poor fitness reports in the Navy);

2. Ask her father to resign from office;

3. Do not follow in your fathers´ foot prints;

4. For Gods´ sake do not run your mouth off without understanding the undercurrent of the Tea Party message.

Give the nice man a cup of tea, Meghan, or coffee if the tea is unpleasant for you to serve, and put him to bed.

Then patiently explain to him what a wise thing it would be for him to follow in the footsteps of Arlen Specter and switch his party to the democrat old boys club where he secretly longs to be.

Hey Meghan you mental giant you I´ll clue you in on why your dear OLD daddy is frustrated and depressed by Tea Party patriots like yours truly. He is frustrated because we stand behind good men like Senators Cruz and Lee who stand for what we believe in. We also know what kind of man your daddy is and that he sucked big time when he had the chance to spare us all of this grief back in 08. He is also frustrated because he is yesterdays news in the senate along with his RINO stooges McConnell, Graham, Ayotte, and Hatch. The reason why he´s depressed Meghan is because deep down he knows that everything I just wrote is true. I recommend a steady drip of Prozac because that´s what they give RINOs that are depressed.

I wish someone could tell us from under which rock this two-bit bung hole crawled. If ever there were someone crying out for beating and being told the truth about who she really is in public it´s Meghan McCain. She´s mastered speaking "valley-girl"in the most obnoxious voice and tone that exist and if she has a brain she´s doing a good job of hiding it. She´s raised stupidity to an artform that "mummy" and dad-ums´ are "so proud of" and glowingly encourage when, in fact, she´s a tubby, over-stuffed, cheap trick who talks down to everyone and thinks every word that drops from her mouth is a pearl. She´s never been told the degree of blight she represents as she panders, patronizes, and acts as though she is introducing something new, remarkable, original...whatever. She´s pathetic and if the McCains cared, they´d take her somewhere and force her to grow up before letting her make even a bigger fool of herself than she´s already accomplished.

Marco Rubio is beefing up his political action committee, making significant high-level changes to it and his senatorial staff. The changes are intensifying speculation that Rubio – who many thought that former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney would pick to be his vice president in 2102 – is preparing the terrain for the 2016 presidential race. Publicly, Rubio, a Florida Republican, has said he has not yet decided whether to aim for the White House in two years, or whether he’ll seek re-election to the Senate. His announcement, on his website, suggested he might be looking at running in 2016, but stopped short of

A recent survey of 148 insurance brokers shows that ObamaCare is sending premiums rising at the fastest clip in decades. "For the last, about, five years they´ve been doing this survey, so this was the largest percentage increase in any quarter since they´ve been doing (it)," says Scott Gottlieb of the American Enterprise Institute. "But at 12 percent, 11 percent increase on average across all the states -- that puts it at the upper end of any increase we´ve seen for decades." That is the national average in a survey done by Morgan Stanley. But in some states, it found rates are soaring. "There are specific states with exorbitant increases," says Gottlieb.

4 We told you a few weeks back that the Obama Administration was prepared to take an astonishing step of surrender, even for this crew, in giving up control of the Internet’s domain name system. That would threaten the Internet’s independence as it would create an opportunity for regimes far less friendly to freedom to step in and gain power and influence. Well, this idea was so horrendous that even Bill Clinton, in addition to 35 Republican senators, spoke up and told the administration not to do it, as well as a great many other voices. Guess what. There´s no word on the price Google paid, but Facebook had been in talks to acquire the company earlier this year for a reported $60 million. Presumably, Google paid more than that to keep it away from Facebook. It sounds like Titan will work on a variety of projects for Google. Titan will be able to collect photos from around the planet from high up, which could help with Google Earth and Google Maps. It will also contribute to Google's Project Loon,

Although the Civil Rights Act, the landmark legislation which just reached its 50th anniversary, made great strides in desegregating the economy, economic discrimination is still widespread, and anti-discrimination legislation alone can never rectify the economic damage inflicted upon blacks by slavery and our Jim Crow apartheid regime. The Civil Rights Act was a mild reform, all things considered, but one conservatives fought with vigor and one many conservatives are still bitter about to this day. When the Civil Rights Act passed in 1964, the primary purpose was to root out discrimination in public accommodations (like hotels and movie theaters)

A rapid shift to wind and solar power is needed if the world is to avoid catastrophic global warming, the United Nations warns in a crucial report today. Emissions of greenhouse gases need to be cut by up to 70 per cent before 2050 to control climate change, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) says. ‘Large-scale changes in energy systems’ are required, with coal power stations to be switched off and replaced by wind and solar. And the transformation needs to be made in the next 15 years or controlling climate change will become increasingly harder and more expensive. The report was published

Chelsea Clinton says when people ask her these days whether she wants to go into politics, her answer isn’t an automatic “no.” The 34-year-old former first daughter told Fast Company in an interview published Monday, “for so long the answer was just a visceral no. Not because I had made any conscientious, deliberate decision, but since people had been asking for as long as literally I could remember, it was no." Now, the only child of former President Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton explains, "I live in a city and a state and a country where I

Neurosurgeon Ben Carson says the White House wanted him to apologize for “offending” President Obama after he famously delivered a conservative message at the National Prayer Breakfast last year. Carson, the former director of pediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital, recalls the events surrounding his 2013 speech in his new book, One Nation: What We Can All Do To Save America’s Future. The Daily Caller obtained an advance copy of the book, which is set for release May 20. “He did not appear to be hostile or angry,” Carson writes of Obama, “but within a matter of minutes after the conclusion of

LAS VEGAS — The Nevada Republican Party stripped opposition to abortion and gay marriage from its platform Saturday as state convention delegates instead focused on judging fellow Republicans on their worthiness to serve in office and adherence to GOP values. The platform, with few changes, was adopted overwhelmingly as the Las Vegas convention stretched late into the evening. The vote mirrors that of the Clark County GOP, which voted earlier to remove platform language defining marriage as between a man and a woman and statements opposing abortion. Many Republicans are re-evaluating their strong stances on conservative social issues as public

A brazen flash mob has been caught on camera storming a California store and making off with $20,000 worth of sunglasses. Surveillance footage shows eight women piling into a Sunglass Hut and crowding around display cases. Shielding workers from what they´re doing, they quickly stuff dozens of fashion specs into their bags. A store clerk pleads with them to stop, before running out of the shot to get help and dial 911. The thieves then all bolt outside and escape in a waiting SUV. The incident occurred at the Valencia Town Center mall, in Santa Clarita, at 3 p.m. on

President Obama pulled a surprise move Monday at the White House’s Easter Prayer Breakfast when he selected Gene Robinson to lead the closing prayer. Robinson is famously known as the first openly gay Episcopal bishop. Talking Points Memo’s Tom Kludt spotted the following tweet from Robinson, who was in attendance: (Tweet) Robinson, 66, became diocesan bishop of New Hampshire in March 2004. A Russian fighter jet made multiple, close-range passes near an American warship in the Black Sea for more than 90 minutes Saturday amid escalating tensions in the region, a U.S. military official said Monday. In the first public account of the incident, the official said the Russian Fencer flew within 1,000 yards of the USS Donald Cook, a Navy destroyer, at about 500 feet above sea level. Ship commanders considered the actions provocative and inconsistent with international agreements, prompting the ship to issue several radio queries and warnings. The fighter appeared to be unarmed and never was in danger of

Some time back, whenever a big racial controversy erupted, I trained myself into the habit of reading about it at FoxNews.com, just for the unbelievable comment threads. Let’s put it this way: If my friends and I went out to a bar and started playing a “let’s write the racist FoxNews.com comment thread” drinking game, our efforts couldn’t begin to approach what I read there.I wasn’t alone. Liberal websites started feasting on these threads. And so, a couple of years ago, Ailes & Co. got wise. Stories about race were, at least in my disheartened experience, closed to comments.
