Patience, Obamacare will work
CNN, by Sally Kohn

You know what´s relatively easy? Fixing a website. You know what´s really hard? Ensuring access to affordable, quality health insurance for every single American and improving our broken health care system in the process. In the back-and-forth about the Obamacare exchange websites, let´s not lose sight of the ultimate goal of health care reform -- a goal that, even with the exchanges problems, we are steadily achieving. Less than 17 days into the signup period, the State of Oregon had already enrolled 56,000 people under the Medicaid expansion in Obamacare -- and reduced the state´s percentage of uninsured by 10%. Ahh yes, the insufferable, brainwashed leftist Kohn rears her ugly head. At least she hasn´t been on Fox lately. I can´t even look at her. She states: "three years ago, our health care costs were skyrocketing, tens of millions of Americans lacked health insurance and 14,000 more were losing their coverage every day" and is thankful we have a law that fixed that??? I guess she´s been under a rock and hasn´t seen the exorbitant rise in costs and hundreds of thousands in cancellations. What an idiot.

Web sites can be fixed. Stupidity can´t. Once The Unaffordable No HealthKKKare Edict from ØDumbø is shoved down our throats, next up is illegal immigrants so the demoncraps can never lose another election, universal college education so libs can pollute the minds of the yuths, and the requirement that the Constitution be replaced with Sharia Law. The only benefit I have seen is losing my ins. and finding out obamacare premiums and deductibles are much higher. But, damn, I´m 62 and I will be loving those birth control and ob benefits. And the rehab benefits I get to pay for even though I don´t drink or do drugs. How silly of me to think I should be able to pick what is important to my own health. Yeah, sally, it´s a sweet ride. I will not sign up for this barf I think a lot of people will be with me. What a doofus.

How many are pregnant? How many will have heart attacks or strokes? How many will have a child get injured and need medical attention? Their insurance coverage is gone.

I believe she´s correct.

ObamaScare WILL work the way it´s designed to - to track our every move, our every meal, our BMI, all our prescriptions (what, how many and how often), and be right there with us next time we´re in the doctor´s exam room.

Additionally, when we file our 1040´s, it´ll be right there again, disguised as the IRS, siphoning our money of our account to pay for itself.

I miss America. But, like Glenn Beck said this morning, try not to look at this as the end of America..... it really just could be the beginning of a REBORN America....

I´m holding on to that.

At least with Kirsten Powers you know that there is an analytical brain which will decide which side she takes depending on the facts ... you may not agree with her but at least there is reasonable logic driving her opinions most of the time.
With the drone Sally Kohn, talking points are hard-wired into her skull, and she NEVER deviates from knee-JERK defense of the indefensible. Kohn is the stereotypic Stepford liberal, ready to CRUSH freedom "for the greater good" of a utopian dream the likes of which has sacrificed millions of lives for an elite which knows what´s best for us, and will not be denied of their control.

I think there are two problems that the fed healthcare Web site faces.

The first is that the site is making way too many remote procedure calls (RPC). The Internet is comprised of many computers all connected, and what appears on a single Web page and what happens to data entered into a form can actually use many different computers "under the covers". When a Web site brings in or sends out data to a remote other server, that´s what we call a RPC.

I´m sure that the site is sending data to a bunch of legacy federal computer systems, like to HHS, IRS, NSA, etc. Those systems do what they do and are not going to change very quickly, if at all. This is why simply adding more computing resources to the healthcare site itself will not produce a quick and easy fix. The problem is that the interaction with those remote other sites takes a lot of time, and there are enough to choke the throughput of the overall system.

The second problem is that there has been and continues to be dramatic "feature creep". This would include requirements that aren´t even defined yet, leaving the system woefully inappropriate for whatever is intended. This is usually caused by too many chefs, especially chefs who are computer fools with great initiative.

The author is a liberal community organizer like BO and just as delusional. She knows nothing about the technical challenges for THIS website and yet claims a bunch of college kids hyped up on caffeine will fix it up in a jiffy. On the other hand we have respected developers in the IT world saying the site is horribly designed and badly broken. Who do you think we should believe.

To a liberal, the end goal is everything. They want universal and government paid healthcare. This brief stop that uses private insurers will be swept away before too long. So ANYTHING that happens along the way to that goal is OK. They are reaching for the brass ring and it doesn´t matter that the merry-go-round is on fire.

She also quotes other liberals that know as little about the real situation as Sally does about IT development. No fact checks and soon will be proven completely false but Sally will be on to other people to quote their drivel. You just keep on moving to the next lie because you are heading for that shiny ring.

Meanwhile the rest of us get screwed.

WASHINGTON--Rushing to an afternoon vote last month, Sen. Ted Cruz hopped the underground tram to the U.S. Capitol from his office across the street. The Texan planted his black ostrich cowboy boots in the middle of the small subway car without getting so much as a nod from the other senators--Republican or Democrat--amiably chatting or huddled in their seats. Mr. Cruz finds himself standing alone a lot these days. His response to the cold shoulders: "The establishment despised Ronald Reagan" before he became president, "but the people loved him." For the 43-year-old Republican, the Reagan name illuminates his political life´s

If the Rev. John DeBonville could preach a sermon to lift the souls of churchgoers across America, his message would be simple: Stop dressing so tacky for church. DeBonville has heard about the “come as you are” approach to dressing down for Sunday service, but he says the Sabbath is getting too sloppy. When he scans the pews of churches, DeBonville sees rows of people dressed in their Sunday worst. They saunter into church in baggy shorts, flip-flop sandals, tennis shoes and grubby T-shirts. Some even slide into the pews carrying coffee in plastic foam containers as if they’re going to Starbucks. “It’s like

The Clintons had a busy night of celebrations after Chelsea announced she and husband Marc Mezvinsky are expecting a baby. Bill joined “House of Cards” star Kevin Spacey at the Revlon Rainforest Fund Benefit Concert at Carnegie Hall Thursday, joking of Spacey’s Machiavellian character, “When I was president people accused me of murder all the time, made a show of investigating. Spacey’s president for 15 minutes and he gets away with murder.” Spacey, who sang during the event with Sting, Stephen Stills and James Taylor, also showed off his Johnny Carson impression, taking a swipe at the coverage of Flight

President Obama asserts that 8 million people have signed up for Obamacare, as though that were something to be proud of. In fact, Obamacare has always been a fiasco from a fiscal perspective–a black hole of subsidies and expanded Medicaid, with largely fictitious mechanisms in place to pay for it. As the number of subsidized participants grows, the disaster gets worse. Charles Blahous explains: Our national discussion…is missing the truly significant story here; what is unfolding before our eyes is a colossal fiscal disaster, poised to haunt legislators and taxpayers for decades to come. It is quite possible that the ACA is

“On the third day, he rose again.” That line, from the Nicene Creed, is a foundational statement of Christian belief. It declares that three days after Jesus died on the cross, he was resurrected, a glimmer of the eternal life promised to believers. It’s the heart of the Easter story in seven little words. But how that statement is interpreted is the source of some of the deepest rifts in Christianity — and a stumbling block for some Christians, and more than a few skeptics. Did Jesus literally come back from the dead in a bodily resurrection, as many traditionalist
