Ted Cruz Angers Nigerian-Americans
With Obamacare Remarks

ABC News, by Arlette Saenz & Arlette Saenz

Sen. Ted Cruz’s sense of humor is earning him some ill will from near and far. A Nigerian-American organization wants the Texas Republican to apologize for comments he made Monday about the problems with the Affordable Care Act website. “You may have noticed that all the Nigerian email scammers have become a lot less active lately,” Cruz said at a gathering with supporters in Houston, according to the Houston Chronicle. “They all have been hired to run the Obamacare website,” he joked. But the Christian Association of Nigerian-Americans, also known as CANAN,

The dRATS must really be scared of Cruz by now showcasing obviously a splinter group of African-Americans, calling themselves Nigerian-Americans. I foresee the day when all of the 0bamaNation´s racist attitudes finally break down blacks into which "tribal hood" in Africa their ancestors were snatched from and brought to our shores.

Obama is failing at an incomprehensible level in every branch of governent but pay no attention to that,Cruz has insulted the exaulted country of Nigeria and that can´t be tolerated.

Even Obama´s spy debacle, riling our allies, has to take a back seat to Cruz´s egregious insult to a bottom of the barrel country.

Obama really insulted disabled Americans when he said he bowled like a special olympics person and the disabled community quickly forgave him.

It has long been known that many, if not most, of the email scammers are in Nigeria. The jokes about Nigeria being the home of these scammers comes from a kernel of truth.

All jokes about ethnic and religious groups stem from a stereotype. But those stereotypes do not spring out of a vacuum, nor do they spring from racism. They spring out of some measure of truth.

Certainly not all Jews are in the banking, rug, jewelry, fur and investment business. Certainly not all blacks are "lazy and shiftless".
Certainly not all Christians are wild-eyed Bible-thumping crazies.
Certainly not all mountain people are rednecks with gun-racks in the back windshield of their pickup trucks.
Certainly not all Muslims are terrorists.

But uber-sensitivity about stereotypes often an acknowledgment that some in our particular group have contributed toward that unpleasant stereotype.

Cruz will apologize because he´s a good guy. But there´s no way he´s a hater or a racist.

It´s deep, it’s dark and it’s mysterious. It could also swallow the world’s tallest building, end-to-end, four times — and still have room for more. The Tasmania-sized area of the southern Indian Ocean where Flight MH370 is believed to have crashed is not only tempestuous and broad. It is also chillingly deep — so much so that natural light cannot penetrate the blackness and even whales cannot dive to the bottom. As the hunt for the missing Malaysia Airlines jet drags on, we look at the mysteries of the sea and examine the search challenges below the waves.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve found myself in a bunch of conversations in which the unspoken assumption was that the main goal of life is to maximize happiness. That’s normal. When people plan for the future, they often talk about all the good times and good experiences they hope to have. We live in a culture awash in talk about happiness. In one three-month period last year, more than 1,000 books were released on Amazon on that subject. But notice this phenomenon. When people remember the past, they don’t only talk about happiness. It is often the ordeals that seem most significant. People shoot for happiness but feel
