Sen. Manchin (D-WV) to Introduce
Bill to Delay Individual Mandate

Breitbart´s Big Government, by Breitbart News

On Wednesday, Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) revealed that he was working on a bill to delay the Obamacare individual mandate. He said in late September that he would support efforts to delay the individual mandate, but this is the first time that Manchin has signified that he will lead a legislative effort toward such a delay. Manchin’s spokesperson, Jonathan Kott, said Manchin will not back Sen. Marco Rubio’s (R-FL) proposal for an indefinite delay to work out insurance exchange glitches, but that he would instead work on a bill “to delay the pena

So what´s the big deal? This just prolongs the disaster. If he was really courageous he would introduce a bill to repeal the whole thing and start all over. There aren´t enough negative superlatives to describe the abomination that is 0bamacare.

Manchin finds another way to pretend to be a conservative at little or no cost to him or the Democrats.

Manchin, being a Democrat, has his own woes from the EPA´s war on Coal.

But for the moment it is popular and safe to kick the Individual Mandate.

He will be against sin next week and propose free apple pie just before Thanksgiving.

Do something worthwhile for once Manchin...call up fellow traveler Henry Waxman to testify under oath in your Senator Rockefeller´s committee to find out exactly what he and the majority in his committee were trying to accomplish in writing this ACA legislation?

It´s too complicated and resembles a Trojan Horse for eternal government servitude.

HENRY WAXMAN needs to explain himself...!

There is no "start all over" unless you mean repealing the ACA and removing all encumbrances government has imposed on insurance company and tort reform, as well as removing the taxpayer trough as an incentive to any and every link in the health care chain.

The BIG problem with all these plans (defund, delay) is that the law changes the mandates of insurance which is why policies are being cancelled.

Any bill to defund or delay has to revoke the coverage mandates. You know a "free" colonoscopy AFTER you spend $6000 of deductibles and $10000 in premiums. Free, get it. The mandates are what is killing people´s private insurance.

The House CR sought to delay the individual mandate.
But NOOOOOO, Barry and the Dems could not agree to that and shut down the government just so they could blame the Repubs.
So now Manchin is proposing a SB that does exactly what the House CR did?

If there is a "delay" on any part of Obamacare I´m wondering what happens to the 300,000 residents of FL who just this week received letters from their insurance company that they are no longer going to insure them? They HAD great insurance, now, as of January 1 they will NOT have insurance AND probably won´t be able to get any from Obmacare! Thousands in CT were informed of the same thing this week. What happens to those people who were perfectly happy with their insurance, but now won´t be covered BECAUSE their policy did not meet the ACA requirements. Where do they go now? WHAT A MESS Obama and his Henchmen have created!

It´s a disaster facing the Rat Party. They sensed it a few years ago, but could not buck the momentum. Now it´s obvious. 2014 looms a catastropic political bloodbath for them if something is not done to stop the madness. It may actually be unstoppable now. Øbama´s clay feet show all the way up to his butt crack. The media are getting antsy. They want it fixed and it is unfixable. Soon, the lo-infos will find out they have been led down a blind alley and are about to get mugged by their idol himself. OMG! So, they bring out this half-fix POS- in truth, they have no idea what to do. And turning to their petty little man in the WH is no help what-so-ever. He´s off on another vacation.

The proliferation of federal agencies with armed agents is one of the most worrisome aspects of the growth in government. There was no immediate word on the cause of her death at her home in Wrotham, Kent, southeast England. Her father said in a statement Monday: "Peaches has died. We are beyond pain." "She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us," he said. "Writing 'was' destroys me afresh. What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable? We loved her and will cherish her forever."

A married freshman Republican congressman who campaigned on his Christian, conservative values apologized Monday after surveillance video surfaced purportedly showing him in a lengthy liplock with a staffer. In the Dec. 23 footage, obtained by a local newspaper, Rep. Vance McAllister, R-La. - who ahead of his election last fall ran multiple campaign ads trumpeting his faith and family - is seen kissing and embracing a woman for about 20 seconds at his Monroe, La., district office. The Ouachita Citizen reports the woman is the congressman´s 33-year-old part-time scheduler, who is also married.

A few weeks ago, the liberal comedian Bill Maher and conservative strategist and pundit Bill Kristol had a brief spat on Maher’s HBO show, putatively over what instigated the tea party but ultimately over the psychic wound that has divided red America and blue America in the Obama years. The rise of the tea party, explained Maher in a let’s-get-real moment, closing his eyes for a second the way one does when saying something everybody knows but nobody wants to say, “was about a black president.” Both Maher and Kristol carry themselves with a weary cynicism that allows them to

(snip) Shierholz estimates that there are currently more than 5 million missing workers who are not included in the unemployment rate because they are neither working nor looking for work, but who might be if the job market

The Democratic National Committee is furious by a conservative website’s ad campaign that depicts Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi clad in a bikini in a provocative pose with her tongue sticking out. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee, called on Republicans to press Breitbart News to remove the artwork — one of several suggestive images on the website promoting the new California site. The image of Pelosi, beneath one of California Gov. Jerry Brown’s face photo-shopped onto a flexing body builder, includes the sub-head: “Because you can’t make this s— up.” “To say the least,

Add Bryan Cranston, the star of TV´s recent hit "Breaking Bad" and a new Broadway play about former President Lyndon B. Johnson, to Team Obamacare. In an interview with Yahoo News “global anchor” Katie Couric, the actor called Obamacare the highlight of President Obama´s legacy. “Now’s the time to stake a claim to leave your legacy,” he encouraged Obama. “I personally believe that his health care program is fantastic. Yes, there are problems. Anything worth while is going to go through a growing pains period. But this is his legacy and I think it’s a great one because I don’t
