Dem Rep. Steve Cohen: Tea Party
Republicans Are ´Domestic Enemies´

Watch out, Alan Grayson: you´ve got competition when it comes to uttering the ugliest slur on Tea Party Republicans . . . Sure, you´ve compared them to the Klan. But fellow Dem Steve Cohen has upped the ante. On Steve Kornacki´s MSNBC show this morning, Cohen called Tea Party congressmen: "domestic enemies" that he took an oath to defend the country against. Did Kornacki challenge Cohen´s libel? Hah! He merely observed that Cohen sounded "very pessimistic." View the video after the jump. Was Cohen´s calumny what President Obama had in mind when this past week he proclaimed that "there is no

Guys who run about calling Republicans ´domestic enemies´ stand a good chance of getting bumped off by some fellow who will use that as a successful defense for doing so. He probably won´t even be a real Republican ~ just somebody who has a bad day.

Let me say this about Democrats ~ they´ve picked up some of the stupidest people I´ve ever seen.

You and your co-conspirators are the domestic enemy, to this and many future generations.

Cohen and his dem coharts are actually the enemies I took an oath to defend against. They ignore the Constitution, want to destroy it and change the entire way our country has been. Seems he is the enemy, not the Tea Party who want the support the Constitution. I´d bet Cohen can´t tell you much about what the Constitution says -- other than the wrong"facts" the dems use as talking points.

I truly believe they are trying to egg on a fight.

They are trying to give non American more rights proclaiming how great illegals are for our nation and in the same breath they strip rights from Americans and call Americans domestic enemies.

There is a storm coming on the horizon.... Can´t see if it is going to be a light sprinkle or a hurricane... but a storm is coming.

#3: On one hand I´d like to see every conservative come down on this guy like a ton of bricks but on the other hand I´d prefer we all stay mum and not lower ourselves publicly to the level of these Marxist/Fascist statist in DC.

Let the conservative talk show hosts and Fox News spread the word on this holier-than-thou lefty!

Maybe The Bonner could bring a resolution of condemnation to the house floor over Cohen´s remark.

With this level of rhetoric coming from the chief Marxist/Fascist in the WH, down to the likes of this lowlife in the house and then from liberal commentators, we are headed toward very serious trouble in this country.

Do the dems really think they are intimidating us by these verbal jabs and insults? Do they think we are knocked back on our heals and hiding behind closed doors because of last Sunday´s votes?

They´ve got some surprises coming during the next 4 years!

The oath they all take is to defend our constitution.

Marxist democrats and Rino´s are busy undermining our constitution with every thing they do.

The agenda of turning America into a Marxist communist country is almost complete by them having at least one half of the voting people brainwashed.

Every time a liberal tells you something about their competition, they are really telling you about themselves. I guess you could call it projection. I am not sure its subconscious as psychological projection would be -- I think its part of their strategery. Libs/progressives are the true enemies of the state -- they should be purged.

The Tea Party must be hitting a few nerves.

We must keep in mind, what criminals do when they get caught? They always deny and accuse others.

We sure do have "domestic enemies". It´s those running up the debt to buy votes. Its those ignoring and violating the constitution. It´s those who make their constituents play by one set of rules why they play by another. It´s those who have divided the nation by race, gender and class. It´s those who reward bad behavior and destructive lifestyles while punishing the moral and productive. It´s those who lie and make promises they can´t keep and then blame the innocent.

IT´S DEMOCRATS!

He also replaced the Bush administration appointee who heads DOJ´s Pardons office. Under the new initiative, DOJ will prioritize clemency applications from inmates who meet all of the following requirements:-- They are currently serving time in a federal prison and likely would have received a substantially lower sentence if convicted of the same offense(s) today;

As a young reporter, I once expressed shock at how routinely and reflexively government officials lied to the press. A savvy newspaper vet who overheard me just smiled and told me not to take it personally. “Why shouldn’t they lie to you?” the late, great Murray Kempton asked. “They lie to themselves all the time.” His observation came back to me as I read about President Obama’s trip to Asia. If Jeb reaches for the nomination, there will be a titanic battle between the party establishment and the Tea Party. Steve Schmidt, McCain’s strategist in 2008, insists that in the end Republicans usually settle on the most electable candidate. To get by, this Bush may be forced to trim his positions, although the cautionary tale of Romney suggests that he would have to tack artfully and carefully for the sake of the general election. As I’ve been writing for more than six months, the Census Bureau office in Philadelphia uncovered a case of fraud in 2010, did nothing about it and allowed the practice to continue. In that instance, a data collector named Julius Buckmon was faking reports that went into the nation’s all-important jobless tally and consumer-inflation survey. New audio reveals an Eastern Connecticut State University professor warning that Republicans will “want things to go back — not to to 1955, but to 1855? if they win control of Congress in November. Republican victories could also put him out of a job, he cautioned. “We will live in a very, very, very different kind of country if that happens,” Professor Brent Terry told students in his Introduction to Creative Writing course, according to audio obtained by Campus Reform. “I mean, colleges will start closing up if these people have their way.” Over the course of his rant, Terry characterized conservatives

Global sea levels have risen by 8 inches (20cm) since 1880 and scientists predict they could rise up to 3ft (98cm) by 2100. But despite the UN’s recent threats of war, famine and extreme weather, such a dramatically different world caused by sea level rise can be hard to imagine. To help picture the future, Martin Vargic, an amateur graphic designer from Slovakia, has created a map depicting the planet with sea levels around 260ft (79m) higher than they are today. He imagines what Earth would look like if the ice sheets surrounding the North and South poles melted, releasing

It may not be tomorrow, but Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) says "something will happen" to force a Nevada rancher to obey a court order to stop grazing his cattle on federal land and pay his grazing fees. "It´s obvious that you can´t just walk away from this," Reid said in an April 18 interview with a Nevada´s KSNV-TV News 3 program “What’s Your Point?” "You can´t have a law that is -- we´re a nation of laws, not of men and women," he said. (Video) Reid noted that most cattlemen pay their taxes, pay their fees, and follow

Thirty-eight Republican lawmakers, including such unlikely bedfellows as John McCain of Arizona and Ted Cruz of Texas, have joined to support a lawsuit challenging the legality of the Affordable Care Act and accusing the president of repeatedly ignoring the law he signed for political reasons. The lawmakers have signed onto a legal brief in support of a lawsuit filed by Sen. Ron Johnson, the Wisconsin Republican who is asking a federal court to overturn Obamacare’s special treatment for members of Congress and their staffs. “The unlawful executive action at issue in this case is not an isolated incident,” the brief

Today is Earth Day. Fox News’ The Five opened its show with a nearly 15 minute segment titled “Earth Day Hysteria.” The goal appeared to be to prove that scientists’ warnings about climate change are overblown and should be ignored if not outright mocked and co-host Eric Bolling was the ringleader of the effort. But he found an adversary in Bob Beckel, who challenged the status quo by presenting actual data on the rise of CO2 levels from NASA, of all places. But before Beckel got to his chart, Bolling took some time to “praise” President Barack Obama for what
