Neighbors: Cory Booker

As Cory Booker looks set to win the junior Senate seat in New Jersey Wednesday, his supposed neighbors in Newark say Mayor Booker doesn’t live in the Gateway City. Multiple residents of Newark told The Daily Caller that the longtime mayor doesn’t live at any of the addresses he has claimed as home. The mayor is believed to live in New York even though he is registered to run for New Jersey’s special senate election. Booker, who filed to run for the U.S. Senate from a B.O. Box in Newark, is registered to vote at 435 Hawthorne Avenue but his

Chris Christie cared more about his own political fortune than the people of New Jersey or the United States. To avoid having to appear on the same ballot as Booker, he chose to have an quick and ill-timed special election for Lautenberg´s senate seat. That effectively precluded many Republicans who would have had a chance to win from running. For those of you still in thrall, let me add my two cents: Chris Christie is despicable.

He never was physically domiciled there - - but in his heart he lived in Newark.

Like all good leftist notions - - it´s the intention that counts - - not the reality.

This will make it even MORE likely that Booker wins the election.

Made me sick when she was called upon to dedicate the Anaheim Senior Center and spoke to all the other Anaheim citizens as if she was a resident of our great city when she really went to bed every night in Pacific Palisades.

Why would any Democrat elitist want to have to actually -- sniff -- spend any time (outside of photo ops) with the riff-raff known as Democrat voters?

They surely wouldn´t want their spouse to have to run into them at the megamart, and of course, no way their kiddos would be caught dead in a PUBLIC SCHOOL with those vermin?

Stories of Democrat politicians claiming hotel rooms, empty lots, abandoned homes, or some long-lost relative´s pad are legendary.

I remember one local city councilman who had a TV expose of him leaving his then-soon-to-be-his-wife-but-then-his-longtime-girlfriend-and-mother-of-his-kids home on the northside of town when he said he lived on the southside where he represented the local yokels.

By the way, this councilman later spent several years living as a guest of the US federal prisons for being a crook.

The walkie-talkies worn on the hips of tournament personnel crackled to life: "Texas Wesleyan has entered the building." WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama will leave Tuesday for a four-nation trip to Asia, looking to recharge a focus on the region, an ambitious initiative that’s been sidetracked by domestic politics and international conflicts elsewhere. Yet even as Obama attempts to boost his effort to emphasize U.S. interest in Asia, Russian President Vladimir Putin’s intervention in Ukraine is complicating efforts to reassure Asian nations _ which share the region with an increasingly assertive China - that the U.S. is committed to their security. The administration’s efforts to refocus U.S. policy toward Asia were already being questioned in the region with the

One of the Obama administration’s favorite themes is the idea that Republicans have been waging a “war on women.” Though Democrats may overestimate the appeal of this canard, the notion that troglodyte conservatives seek to send American women back to the 19th century has become a form of conventional wisdom, especially in the liberal mainstream media. But though that war is a piece of fakery rooted in the confusion between political liberalism and gender equality, there is little doubt about the reality of another war on women: the one that is being waged by left-wing ideologues against any female Republican

Turning the tables remains the first refuge of liars called on their mendacity. “I was hurt,” Elizabeth Warren relays in her new autobiography, “and I was angry.” The second-year senator speaks of her 2012 political opponent using her claims of Native American ancestry against her during the campaign. Elizabeth Warren could pass for Bull Connor’s sister. She couldn’t pass for Sitting Bull’s second cousin five times removed. So when the 2012 debate descended into genealogists arguing over whether Warren’s great-great-great grandmother was or wasn’t partly Cherokee, the law-professor-turned-candidate winning the question meant that she had already lost it. With public approval of Congress in the single digits, senators and representatives in both parties may face the most challenging political environment of their careers. The White House is going to war with another fox — and this time, it’s personal.
