MURRAY: Obama ‘clueless
about this country in some
profoundly disturbing ways’

Daily Caller, by Ginni Thomas

President Barack Obama successfully portrayed himself as a uniting candidate during the 2008 election, but his actions in office deepened the partisan divide, author and American Enterprise Institute scholar Charles Murray told The Daily Caller in an exclusive interview. “In the 2008 campaign, I actually believed that [Obama] was going to try to be a president who would bridge the partisan divide and compromise,” Murray said. “His rhetoric was really pretty good, and his behavior since he got into office has been the polar opposite. And it is getting worse rather than better.” Obama’s carefully cultivated demeanor of sophistication drew

Murray identified it w/o realizing it:

“His rhetoric was really pretty good´´.

Barry has long relied on his (well-spoken) motor mouth - and he cares not too much whether what comes out of it makes much sense - as long as it sounds good and fits the narrow concerns of the occasion.

I am reminded of empty-suit, empty chair Barry when I read this line from Hamlet:

That struts and frets his hour upon the stage. And then is heard no more: it is a tale. Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, Signifying nothing.

Many on this site consider him as a purely evil character. I disagree - he is purely vapid.

If you set aside the whole birth certificate controversy (and at this point, I really do not care - the damage has been done) Barack Hussein Obama may have been born in America but he was not raised in America.

He does not share our background.

He does not share our common history.

He does not share our love of country.

Regardless how you parse this administration, Barack Hussein Obama has been a disaster for our country and in a greater sense, the world. Just because you are an ´´intellectual´´ does excuse your failure to recognize his lack of Americanism. Intellectual does not equal elitist, nor does being an ´´intellectual´´ equate to one with common sense so look down your nose at the working class all you want Mr Murray; Joe the Plumber has more native intelligence than you and your colleagues.

Barack Hussein Obama is not an American in truest sense of the word.

Obama is evil. He is a chameleon that will look like and be
anything that attracts you to it. He/Evil has to be exposed and destroyed
but it cannot be politely ignored.

And the enlightened intellectual --[better and smarter than the folks in flyover country] Charles Murray reveals that he´s still stuck on stupid.

0b@$tard duped Charles Murray because Charles Murray wanted to be duped by someone who sounded just like him, --and that should tell you everything you need to know about Charles Murray.

Murray never looked behind the curtain. He didn´t need to. After all, 0b@$tard sounded just like him; so smart, so sophisticated; so enlightened. Just like Charles Murray.

Krauthammer, another enlightened intellectual, never looked behind the curtain; Petty Noonan, another enlightened intellectual never looked behind the curtain.

That´s a list that could exceed the word limit, but you get the picture.

The enlightened intellectuals were so taken with someone who sounded just like them, they never heard the sound of Rev. Wright´s voice when he asked God to damn America, not bless Her. If they never heard that, then it didn´t compute that 0b@$tard sat for 20+ years in that "church," and described Wright as a mentor.

Those Smarter Than You intellectuals never heard Bill Ayers say he wished he could have committed more terrorist acts upon America and killed more people, therefore, it never computed that 0b@$tard began his political career in Ayer´s living room; they took the Mulatto´s word for it that Ayers was just another guy in the neighborhood.

If I were Charles Murray, I would have kept what he reveals about himself in this article to myself. I would be too ashamed and embarrassed to own up to that depth of stupidity.

What is evil if not cavorting at a private retreat while denying the bereaved families of our fallen military the funds to bury their dead?
What is evil if not denying our industry the fuel necessary (Keystone Pipeline) to keep our economy robust merely as a political tool to cut this country Down to the size he thinks it ought to be?
Our trucking industry is grinding to an absolute halt, unnoticed by anyone, because of four dollar a gallon diesel but everyone is enraged over closed national parks.
Has the definition of evil changed while we weren´t looking?

“His discourse just was so familiar to me, and along with what was a very engaging personality, I kind of ignored things, which, I think it is fair to say, a lot of working class people glommed onto right away,” he added.
---------------

Yes - many of us glommed onto such things as Obama´s lack of experience, absence of accomplishments, radical Leftist background and associates, weird secrecy about the basic facts and records of his life etc. We weren´t impressed or confused by the speechifying, mainly because it almost instantly set off all our BS detectors, which began to howl and wail so loudly they almost drowned it out. It seems that Professor Murray, despite his indubitable talents and accomplishments, does not possess a functioning BS detector. Is this something only working class Americans have? But then, what about all those working class Americans who voted for the first Toastmaster president?

Fine words and an insinuating manner, said Confucius, are seldom associated with true virtue.

Never doubt Rush Limbaugh. Murray´s "thinking" is exactly what Rush has been telling us for years about the Republican Elite Establishment and how they think and why we´re in the mess we´re in.

Conservatives are going to have to storm the gates of the GOP and the RNC and all of the other RINO acronyms, and we´re going to have to be carrying torches and pitchforks when we do it.

If the LoFo and the Takers put 0bama in office, they had help from the likes of Charles Murray.

After Obama´s speech at the 2008 convention my History teaching, Obama loving son-in-law tested me saying "I just heard our next President."

He was taunting me because He know hoe I felt about him. In an effort to keep the peace and to get MY point across I simply texted back "Sound and fury."

I never know if I made my point but with his education...I hope so.

#2 I don´t want to be the Shakespeare police but the quote is actually from Macbeth Act 5 Scene 5.

"Life’s but a walking shadow, a poor player

It really doesn´t matter where it comes from...I have always thought it was ultimately written for the biggest IDIOT the U.S.A had ever had in office.

This "working class" was very disturbed by the George Stephanopoulos interview where 0bama needed to be "reminded" his religion was Christianity.

Then, and many times since, I´ve thought of the old truism: a priest will tell you, "Give me a child before the age of seven, and I´ll make a lifelong Catholic of him."

And where was 0bama at the age of seven? Wouldn´t that be attending a private school, where he was enrolled as a "Muslim" named Barry Soetero per the form posted on the internet?

Of course, since "all" of 0bama´s records have been sealed, we aren´t allowed to learn if his name was changed then, was ever legally changed "back" or if his citizenship was affected by the "adoption" by his step-father. the sycophantic Journ-O-Lusters had no interest in pursuing this kind of information about their "messiah."

Murray was conned, and he´s still being conned, because he then makes excuses for Obama. Murray says it´s not that Obama is evil, he´s "clueless."

But, as others here have said, Murray betrays his own class arrogance by saying that "he talks like just like me...It´s the way we carry on discourse."

So, of course, it doesn´t matter what Obama thinks to people like Murray, because Obama´s one of them, and therefore OK.

Tax day is here—and some people will pay more this year because of Obamacare. The law´s biggest tax provision—billions of dollars in tax credits to help people cover the cost of their premiums—is already in effect, but doesn´t affect the taxes due on Tuesday. A handful of smaller provisions, mostly affecting wealthy households, will show up for the first time in this year´s filing. Among this year´s changes: a 0.9 percent increase in Medicare taxes and a 3.8 percent surtax on investment income. Both are limited to high-income taxpayers, and both took effect for the first time in the tax season that

Senate Democrats have been desperately trying to move the national conversation away from Obamacare to just about anything else before the midterm elections — “paycheck fairness,” the minimum wage, even the Koch brothers. But President Obama’s choice of Sylvia Burwell to replace Kathleen Sebelius as secretary of Health and Human Services thrusts Obamacare right back into the national spotlight — and with it Obama’s false promise that “if you like your health-care plan, you can keep your health-care plan.” The agency Burwell heads, the Office of Management and Budget, is responsible for the president’s budget. It hasn’t gone as well as planned, partly because the media dropped its usual obsequiousness by questioning the assumptions of the claim that women make 77 cents for each dollar earned by men for the same work. A rapid shift to wind and solar power is needed if the world is to avoid catastrophic global warming, the United Nations warns in a crucial report today. Emissions of greenhouse gases need to be cut by up to 70 per cent before 2050 to control climate change, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) says. ‘Large-scale changes in energy systems’ are required, with coal power stations to be switched off and replaced by wind and solar. And the transformation needs to be made in the next 15 years or controlling climate change will become increasingly harder and more expensive. The report was published

Chelsea Clinton says when people ask her these days whether she wants to go into politics, her answer isn’t an automatic “no.” The 34-year-old former first daughter told Fast Company in an interview published Monday, “for so long the answer was just a visceral no. Not because I had made any conscientious, deliberate decision, but since people had been asking for as long as literally I could remember, it was no." Now, the only child of former President Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton explains, "I live in a city and a state and a country where I

Although the Civil Rights Act, the landmark legislation which just reached its 50th anniversary, made great strides in desegregating the economy, economic discrimination is still widespread, and anti-discrimination legislation alone can never rectify the economic damage inflicted upon blacks by slavery and our Jim Crow apartheid regime. The Civil Rights Act was a mild reform, all things considered, but one conservatives fought with vigor and one many conservatives are still bitter about to this day. When the Civil Rights Act passed in 1964, the primary purpose was to root out discrimination in public accommodations (like hotels and movie theaters)

LAS VEGAS — The Nevada Republican Party stripped opposition to abortion and gay marriage from its platform Saturday as state convention delegates instead focused on judging fellow Republicans on their worthiness to serve in office and adherence to GOP values. The platform, with few changes, was adopted overwhelmingly as the Las Vegas convention stretched late into the evening. The vote mirrors that of the Clark County GOP, which voted earlier to remove platform language defining marriage as between a man and a woman and statements opposing abortion. Many Republicans are re-evaluating their strong stances on conservative social issues as public

President Obama pulled a surprise move Monday at the White House’s Easter Prayer Breakfast when he selected Gene Robinson to lead the closing prayer. Robinson is famously known as the first openly gay Episcopal bishop. Talking Points Memo’s Tom Kludt spotted the following tweet from Robinson, who was in attendance: (Tweet) Robinson, 66, became diocesan bishop of New Hampshire in March 2004. He retired in January 2013 and is currently a senior fellow at the progressive

A Russian fighter jet made multiple, close-range passes near an American warship in the Black Sea for more than 90 minutes Saturday amid escalating tensions in the region, a U.S. military official said Monday. In the first public account of the incident, the official said the Russian Fencer flew within 1,000 yards of the USS Donald Cook, a Navy destroyer, at about 500 feet above sea level. Ship commanders considered the actions provocative and inconsistent with international agreements, prompting the ship to issue several radio queries and warnings. The fighter appeared to be unarmed and never was in danger of

Some time back, whenever a big racial controversy erupted, I trained myself into the habit of reading about it at FoxNews.com, just for the unbelievable comment threads. Let’s put it this way: If my friends and I went out to a bar and started playing a “let’s write the racist FoxNews.com comment thread” drinking game, our efforts couldn’t begin to approach what I read there.I wasn’t alone. Liberal websites started feasting on these threads. And so, a couple of years ago, Ailes & Co. got wise. Stories about race were, at least in my disheartened experience, closed to comments.

As I sit writing from Berlin, Germany—I woke up this morning with the news that a demented American Nazi and KKK leader, Glenn Miller, has been arrested as the main suspect in the Kansas City murder of 3 American Jews. (Snip) Fortunately, a quick look at some of the anti-Semitic extremist websites has led to the following post by Mr. Miller, reproduced verbatim below: Israel Forming Super PAC to Attack Paul & Obama This is some big dookee, yaw’ll. http://runronpaul.com/interviews/isr…on-paul-obama/ Jew journalist Max Blumenthal exposes and explains this attempt by a foreign government Israel, to buy the presidential election for the neo-con, war-mongering republican
