Jeff Jones started shopping for health insurance as soon as the Obamacare insurance marketplaces opened on October 1. The Kentucky resident is like a lot LGBT citizens who have not had access to affordable health insurance in the past. (Snip) As a whole the LGBT community has less experience with insurance than the general population. A survey done by the Center for American Progress found that about a third of respondents were uninsured. It´s estimated some 16.3% of the general population is uninsured. So the truth comes out. The real name for the ACA is the AQCA. I resent paying for health care for any queer, male or female. And the high incidence of AIDS among them is just the type of thing that is going to drive the prices for the rest of us through the roof.

FTA: Before the Affordable Care Act, people with pre-existing conditions often couldn´t get coverage.

They could get insurance, they´d just have to pay higher premiums. Thanks to obama, all of us will be paying for the unhealthy lifestyle choices of others.

Gay marriage started as a movement so gays could get their partners on their health insurance to pay for their AIDS treatments. Just another way to stick it to the straight community.

If every gay in the country signs up we´ll finally learn how many there really are, which is likely well under 5% of the population.

I will take #10s point further.

All we hear about is that the "gay community" is very much employed, above-average in pay, typically highly-skilled workforce. And you better not anger them because they have incredible buying power!

But many of them don´t have any health insurance.

How does that work.

I always ask this question. I have worked full time since 16, and had all my own insurance since 18.

Why is that fine for me but not for everyone else? I got no special breaks. Oh, wait a minute, I worked by butt off....so that´s not FAIR is it?

Is there a line on the form for "sexual orientation"?

I understand that along with birthday, one´s SS#, name, address are required, necessarily.

ALL of this information and ALL of their health information will be accessible on-line... there´s no way that the security issues will be corrected any time soon.

Frankly, most people would not want to read about the nature of the kind and parts of the body afflicted with STDs.

Another consequence of HIV/AIDS is medications which destroy the liver, ultimately requiring transplant.

Will there be accurate numbers of sign-ups reported? We know the regime has lied and has been caught in the lies about the big roll out. Exposed!

# 6 Is correct. You and I are now paying for their HIV/AIDS treatment and have been for some time now as municipalities go PC and add gay partners on employee coverage.

All Zippy had to do was mandate guaranteed issue for all health insurance and let the insurance companies apply it. Instead, yet another industry has been annihilated under his watch.

Why aren´t straight unmarried couples living together suing for discrimination ?

Insurance products are no longer being offered. Insurance deals with risk but risk considerations have been politically removed from much of the ObamaCare offerings and the risk is spread for all of us to pay.
E.G. An insurance product would charge more for gays because of their increased risk for HIV/AIDS, hepatitis, etc. Instead we are all paying for that risk and many other similarly ´´shared´´ risks under ObamaCare, i.e. This is not insurance.

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT RUSH: I´ve gotta tell, another little thing about Nelson Mandela. Do you realize in a couple of ways, maybe even more than a couple, Nelson Mandela has more in common or had more in common with Clarence Thomas than he does with Barack Obama? For example, Nelson Mandela (even prior to becoming president, but certainly after he became president of South Africa) insisted on compliance with his country´s constitution. He insisted on it. Obama looks at the US Constitution as an obstacle and makes end runs around it every day, practically. In that sense... These are the kind of

The online insurance marketplace relays information about new customers in ´834´ transaction forms to the private insurance companies that provide the health plans. HealthCare.gov serves people in 36 states, while 14 states are running their own websites. "We believe nine of 10 transactions are being successfully transmitted," the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, or CMS, spokeswoman Julie Bataille said at a news briefing.

To fully appreciate what former South African president Nelson Mandela was able to accomplish, it is necessary to hearken back to the South Africa he found when he emerged from prison in 1990, and what the country was like in those critical four years between his release and his election to the presidency in 1994. Put simply, South Africa was a violent, dangerous and heavily-armed place teetering precariously on the edge of an all-out race war. And in the early 1990s, it was entirely unclear which way the country would go. On one side, embittered white rejectionists were refusing to

Nelson Mandela was the most famous black man in history. He transcended race barriers to become an exemplar of human generosity of spirit. Toddlers show racial bias when picking playmates, a study reveals. They also take account of how fairly others behave. Researchers tested the reaction of white 15-month-olds as toys were distributed. Two white adults divided the toys, one equally and the other unequally. Seventy per cent of the toddlers chose to play with the researcher who distributed the toys fairly. But in a second test, when one researcher favoured a white recipient over an Asian one, they picked the ‘fair’ researcher less often, the journal Frontiers in Psychology reports. How do you ensure that you won’t be ostracized, denounced, or fired if you are a media celebrity, captain of industry, or high public official? For some, sexist banter is certainly no problem. Stand-up comedian Bill Maher called Sarah Palin a c–t and a tw-t, but suffered no ill consequences. David Letterman joked on air that Sarah Palin’s 14-year-old daughter had had sex with Alex Rodriguez during a New York Yankees game. There was no downside to that either. President Obama tosses around “sweetie” as he wishes. No problem with that. No one believes Barack could be condescending to women.
