Obama: ´We´ve got to create more jobs´
Investor´s Business Daily, by Andrew Malcolm

Original Article

Posted By:LittleHoodedMonk, 10/12/2013 2:08:29 PM

Good morning. Over the past few days, I’ve met with Republicans and Democrats from both houses of Congress in an effort to reopen your government and remove the dangers of default from our economy. It’s a positive development that House Republicans have agreed on the need to avoid the economic consequences of not meeting our country’s commitments. Because once the debt ceiling is raised, and the shutdown is over, there’s a lot we can accomplish together. We’ve created seven and a half million new jobs in the past three and a half years. Now let’s create more. We’ve cut our deficits in half over

Comments:
The petulant won treats US like we are the child and he is doing all to help US, It is impossible to decipher one line here where he isn´t lying outright and blaming the GOP for the current government shutdown.He doesn´t want to negotiate, just to rule. Pity, not a way to be truly presidential. Hurting US in petty ways, like twisting arm, is not a good negotiating stragedy, but the sign of a true bully.

Jobs are created not by government or government programs, but by unshackled entrepreneurs and imaginative business owners, who can count of the government not to dry up consumer spending by high taxation, provide reasonable regulation, and to otherwise stay the H-E-double-hockey-sticks out of the way of their growth and success.

I checked my copy of the Constitution (you know, the owner´s manual for this country) but I did not see anything that referenced the president ´´creating more jobs´´.

Job creation is a by-product of smaller, more constrained government. Said government removes the obstacles from the job producers thereby resulting in more tax money flowing into the government coffers. It´s a symbiotic, reciprocal relationship that worked splendidly during the Reagan years. If memory serves me correctly we actually produced such a surplus, politicians didn´t know what to do with it.

Maybe we should try that again, Mr President.

An economy can create either jobs or free benefits. Not both.

* 48 million on food stamps
* 14 million on disability (fraud very high)
* 13 million on welfare
* In Hawaii, a welfare recipient makes the equivalent of $17.50/hr.

Skippy will never create more jobs because he´s created a welfare state instead.

Democrats are battling the White House over proposed cuts to Medicare Advantage, creating a new divide on healthcare just as the party had begun to rally around ObamaCare’s 7.1 million enrollees. The issue threatens the newfound momentum Democrats have on healthcare after a late surge of ObamaCare enrollees surprised and electrified a party that had been beaten down after months of bad news associated with the healthcare law’s rollout. It’s particularly sensitive during an election year, as both parties court senior voters, who make up a disproportionate percentage of the voting population in midterm elections. WASHINGTON- Seven million people signed up, so there is an appetite for President Barack Obama´s health care law, but that doesn´t guarantee success for the country´s newest social program. Big challenges are lurking for the next enrollment season, which starts Nov. 15. Chief among them are keeping premiums and other consumer costs in check, and overhauling an enrollment process that was advertised as customer-friendly but turned out to be an ordeal. "They have demonstrated the law can work, but we are a ways off from being able to judge its success," said Larry Levitt, an expert on health insurance markets

The president gave two speeches this week, one in the Rose Garden to talk about Obamacare and one in Ann Arbor, Mich., to push minimum wage increases. What did we learn? We learned that President Obama is most comfortable in campaign mode, and his campaigning has gotten downright ugly. His Rose Garden speech was a typical self-congratulatory moment for supposedly hitting 7.1 million Obamacare sign-ups — although we know that once again, the White House is ignoring some inconvenient truths. U.S. Senate candidate Matt Bevin spent the week defending his decision last weekend to attend an event in Corbin, Ky., that most attendees knew was a rally to legalize cockfighting in Kentucky. Bevin has said he didn´t know it was a rally supporting cockfighting and thought it was a "state´s rights" rally. After ducking other calls for comment, Bevin went on WHAS radio´s "Terry Meiners Show" on Thursday to talk about the rally, cockfighting and other things. "I´ve never been to a cockfight, I don´t condone cockfighting, but here´s the thing: I´m not going to disparage people for exercising their First Amendment rights,"
