Obamacare Website Goes

After a long weekend of repairs, the Obamacare healthcare exchange website was ready for action…or not. On Monday night, Healthcare.gov was taken offline again to fix glitches. From 1 a.m. EDT, the Health and Human Services Department stated, the site would be offline for purposes of improving capacity. HHS did state that the site was better than it was before the weekend improvements, and said that it would be taken offline only during nonpeak hours. HHS spokeswoman Joanne Peters said, “The work done to increase access to HealthCare.gov in light of the overwhelming demand is

You have to give these folks credit for persistence, sticking with the totally phony message that it is overwhelming demand that is the problem.

The real problem. Incompetent liberal bureaucrats, not knowing what was in the bill, and trying to keep up to date with arbitrary changes, kept screwing around with the software requirements such that no programmer could have ever produced a workable product.

The developers of this web app have already said publicly that these issues are not because of demand. This was right before they were ordered not to speak to reporters. And these lying, incompetent jackasses in the HHS will be making healthcare decisions for us. The only group who really really deserve a waiver from this epic disaster are those of us who did not vote for these idiots.

I think it´s hilarious that Obama and his crew refuse to release sign-up figures. These systems produce transaction logs which are accessible as raw data or via report generators that process the data and produce all manner of reports and graphs. I´ve built a number of these systems, and once they go live, the engineers and the exec´s demand first hour, first day, etc. reports. It´s like TV show producers looking at the ratings ASAP. So for the administration to play dumb about this data is, again, hilarious, and a pack of lies. They know the exact numbers and those numbers are terrible, else the braggart of bin Laden´s raid would be all over the airwaves, ad nauseam, bragging about the big sign up numbers. Oh, how they wish they had even a shred of good numbers to promote. But they don´t and so they lie. Like dogs.

I´ve been in the computer business a long time. The very extensive nature of the problems cited indicates that the basic design of this system may be fatally flawed. A complete rewrite may be required. If so, we´re not talking a few days or even weeks. The whole system may be unavailable for a year or more.

What poetic justice. They purposely made the law incredibly complex and virtually unreadable, so the end result is a system that´s also unprogrammable.

Like communism, a massive FAIL.

In any crisis, there is opportunity This Obamacide website is the opportunity of a lifetime for questioning, contrary opinion Breitbartian Americans. Breitbartian good guy, bestelling author, Ben Shapiro (PRIMETIME PROPAGANDA) omits the one, giant, positive point we can celebrate now, and as long as this most frightening Communist plan remains in effect. For the first time, a complicated, bad law, a truly horrendous law, is starting by going online. We have a nation packed with innovative genius computer users and programmers, packed with lawyers and law students, packed with Tea Party patriots, bikers, truck drivers. We have a nation of individualists who can all look at this foul totalitarian, IRS police state enforced terrorism, who can set up analysis never before aimed at any new law. It is no longer that “cat and mouse” game of the IRS, where the laws are so confusing that the average family must hire a government trained CPA. Obamacide, all of it online, is a whole new, different ballgame. It’s time demanding, to be sure, but questioning this oppressive debut of body and mind tyranny, can become a perfect join together speaking platform for law abiding, talented, hard working, patriotic Americans !

At this moment in time, there is no way to forsee what is going to happen to healthcare in this country. We all DO know that under Obozocare, it will collapse. But, if enough people refuse to sign up for the program, and so far it looks like that just might happen, then Obozocare itself will collapse. And then where are we? There needs to be someone or some organization to put togather a program based on the free market that will be ready to go just in case of a collapse, regardless of the cause. At least that´s my opinion.

And I guess I´m part of their stats. I did log on their web site and took a look around. And I have no intention of EVER "joining" their program. Or paying their "tax".

Long-term unemployed struggle

For the long-term unemployed, finding a job is hard — but keeping one may be even harder. New research tracking people who have been out of work for six months or longer found that 23 percent of them landed a job within a few months of the study. But a year later, more than a third of that group was unemployed again or out of the labor force altogether. The findings are the latest in a bleak but growing body of literature suggesting long-term unemployment has become a trap that is difficult to escape. Economists say that means the long-term unemployed could become a permanent underclass, left behind by the nation’s broader

The Social Security Administration announced Monday that it will immediately cease efforts to collect on taxpayers’ debts to the government that are more than 10 years old. The action comes after The Washington Post reported that the government was seizing state and federal tax refunds that were on their way to about 400,000 Americans who had relatives who owed money to Social Security. In many cases, the people whose refunds were intercepted had never heard of any debt, and the debts dated as far back as the middle of the past century. “I have directed an immediate halt to further

Democrats have had a recurring problem in special elections this year: Their voters aren’t turning out. If a weak economy and continued Obamacare problems persist, the November elections could be a disaster for Democrats. Last week, Democrats lost two special elections they weren’t planning to. Arlington, Va., is a classic wealthy ObamaTown, filled with government workers and limousine liberals. Mitt Romney won only 29 percent of the vote in 2012. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said little as federal agents seized and then released cattle last week from the Bundy ranch, but there is little doubt that the highly charged episode was threatening to become a political headache for the Nevada Democrat. On the defensive about their prospects in the midterm elections this fall, congressional Democrats have spent all of April savaging the Republican budget proposal, decrying the Koch brothers and championing a series of bills meant to ingratiate themselves to struggling middle-class voters. In promoting legislation that would extend unemployment benefits, increase the minimum wage and promote equal pay for women, the Democrats have declared themselves the party that will ensure a “fair shot” for all. Republicans, they insist, are the party of special interests. It has been a classic Washington messaging campaign for these partisan

Following the massacre of grammar-school children in Newtown, Conn., in December 2012, high-powered weapons have been used to kill innocent victims in more senseless public incidents. Those killings, however, are only a fragment of the total harm caused by the misuse of firearms. Each year, more than 30,000 people die in the United States in firearm-related incidents. Many of those deaths involve handguns. The adoption of rules that will lessen the number of those incidents should be a matter of primary concern to both federal and state legislators. Struggling homeowners across the country could face significant new tax bills if they receive mortgage relief from their banks, a prospect that threatens to slow the housing recovery and put further strain on distressed borrowers. The collapse of the housing market and plunging home prices left millions of people stuck owing more on their mortgages than their homes were worth. Some have worked with their banks to reduce the loan amount to avoid foreclosure or enable a sale. In 2007, Congress adopted a law that spared those homeowners from being taxed on the amount of the loan that was forgiven. But
