2014 poll: GOP could lose the House
Politico, by Lucy McCalmont

Original Article

The Republican Party could be in danger of losing control of the House in 2014, new polls on Sunday show. In a survey of 24 seats, Republicans fall behind in 17 head-to-head matches against “generic Democrat candidates” among registered voters and lag in an additional four districts when respondents are told the Republican candidate supported the shutdown, according to the surveys by Public Policy Polling which were funded by the liberal group, MoveOn.org. Democrats would need to pick up 17 seats to take over the House - something the polling reveals could be within reach. One district that shows a favorable position

So, libtard MoveOn.org funded a poll taken by Libtard Public Policy Research, and interpreted and reported by Libtard Politico. Must be gospel.

With (hopefully) the IRS hogtied the Tea Party will come back with renewed vigor and the Libtards won´t know what hit them.

All next year, the Republicans need to have advertisements showing the video of Dana Bash, a reporter from CNN asking Harry Reid about funding cancer research during the shutdown and harry reid replying...´why should we worry about one child with cancer.´ And then show him saying to Ms Bash...´to have someone of your intelligence to suggest such a thing maybe means you’re irresponsible and reckless.´
Not only a war on SICK children but on women also.

If the Progressives win the next election, the American dream is lost! Satan has infiltrated their party and his agenda (steal/kill/destroy) is being initiated/accomplished.

Only God can deliver US from the pitfalls set before US! Obama is not a friend of US!

As the Bible states in 2 Chronicles 7:14 - "If My people, called by My Name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked way, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land."

His promise comes true when we submit to His authority, not political-correctness!

We need to fast and pray - starting with denying the liberal media control. Turn them off! Do not give them power to declare Satan´s authority. Pray and seek God´s will to be done on earth just as it is in Heaven.

Many proclaim that Heaven is in their future, yet they deny the King of kings and Lord of lords. Judgment Day will prove them false! "Depart from Me for I never knew you" will be the answer to their plea for admittance!

Pray for the lost/uninformed/all who do not know Jesus! He is the Answer to every problem! Our salvation is only in Him, today/tomorrow/always!

When one has retired from the ranks of American domestic political consulting, as I have, you are not really allowed to just quit. You become emeritus, of counsel, senior status and God knows what. Basically your role becomes one of trying to talk active participating democratic consultants to not, as current politics would have it, “jump off the bridge.” There appears in both public and private to be more than usual pessimism and gloom about Democratic chances in 2014. Allow me to point out the following facts — yes, facts, not opinions. Last week’s Washington Post/ABC News poll found that fewer than

Washington (CNN) – President Barack Obama´s approval rating has edged up a bit since the end of last year, according to a new national poll. But a CNN/ORC International survey also indicates the number of Americans who hope that his policies will succeed has dropped 12 points since last year and a majority now predicts that his policies will fail. According to the survey, which was released Monday, 45% of the public gives Obama a thumbs-up on the job he´s doing as President. That´s up from 41% in November and December, when the President was at or near all-time lows

House Republicans are getting ready to surrender: There will be no serious fight over the debt limit. The most senior figures in the House Republican Conference are privately acknowledging that they will almost certainly have to pass what’s called a clean debt ceiling increase in the next few months, abandoning the central fight that has defined their three-year majority. The reason for the shift in dynamics in this fight is clear. Congress has raised the debt limit twice in a row without drastic policy concessions from President Barack Obama and Senate Democrats, essentially ceding ground to Democrats. Less than a week before President Obama gives his State of the Union address, the president’s job approval rating is mixed: 46 percent approve, and about the same percentage, 47 percent, disapprove. Over the past year, his approval rating has mostly hovered in the mid 40s and has not hit the 50 percent mark since February of last year. His 46 percent approval is up four points from December (42 percent) and up from his all-time low of 37 percent in November. As the president begins his sixth year in office, his approval rating is slightly higher than that of

A recent conversation with a veteran of GOP presidential campaigns raised this question: Which, if any, of the recent battleground states are likely to become more Republican by 2016? The consensus: very few. That reality highlights one problem Republicans face as they seek to regain the White House after six years under President Obama. Lots of factors affect elections: the quality of the candidates, the state of the economy, the effectiveness of the campaigns. But in a country whose demographics continue to change, Republicans will begin this campaign with one significant disadvantage. Over the past three decades, the political leanings of

Ron Fournier, among others, defends the comparison, arguing that of course the crises themselves aren´t similar. The analogy is really about "the ways that Bush and Obama handled their crises, and [how] those actions changed the public´s view of their presidencies." But that´s precisely the point: The political fallout is driven by the nature of the crises. Or, to put it more starkly, reality drives politics — politics doesn´t drive reality. Democrats are facing a senior problem that could get even worse this year. The party has traditionally had trouble with older voters, losing the group aged 65 and over by 21 points in 2010 — when Republicans picked up 63 seats — and by 12 points in the 2012 presidential race. Seniors are the GOP’s most reliable voting bloc in midterm years, turning out in higher numbers than Democratic base voters. A recent Gallup poll showed seniors have become even more Republican over the last two decades; in 2013, 48 percent considered themselves Republican. That spells trouble for Democrats, who are already facing

LONDON - Peaches Geldof, the wild-child second daughter of concert organizer Bob Geldof who worked as a model, a television presenter and a fashion writer and filled the pages of British tabloids with her late-night antics, has died at age 25. There was no immediate word on the cause of her death at her home in Wrotham, Kent, southeast England. Her father said in a statement Monday: "Peaches has died. We are beyond pain." "She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us," he said. "Writing 'was' destroys me afresh. What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable? We loved her and will cherish her forever."

The Democratic National Committee is furious by a conservative website’s ad campaign that depicts Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi clad in a bikini in a provocative pose with her tongue sticking out. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee, called on Republicans to press Breitbart News to remove the artwork — one of several suggestive images on the website promoting the new California site. The image of Pelosi, beneath one of California Gov. Jerry Brown’s face photo-shopped onto a flexing body builder, includes the sub-head: “Because you can’t make this s— up.” “To say the least,

Add Bryan Cranston, the star of TV´s recent hit "Breaking Bad" and a new Broadway play about former President Lyndon B. Johnson, to Team Obamacare. In an interview with Yahoo News “global anchor” Katie Couric, the actor called Obamacare the highlight of President Obama´s legacy. “Now’s the time to stake a claim to leave your legacy,” he encouraged Obama. “I personally believe that his health care program is fantastic. Yes, there are problems. Anything worth while is going to go through a growing pains period. But this is his legacy and I think it’s a great one because I don’t

American public school students sick of the smaller portions and healthier offerings they get at lunch thanks to Michelle Obama´s anti-obesity initiatives are sounding off on social media. Just a month after school lunch participation saw the steepest drop on record following the implementation of the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act, students tired of going home hungry are making sure the first lady knows why. ´I´ll never forgive Michelle Obama for this school lunch,´ tweeted one angry student. [Snip] The extremely negative reviews have over a million kids refusing to eat the offerings, an ironic result for legislation meant to combat
