Bill Clinton Accuses Ted Cruz
of Making (Unspecified) False Statements

Former President Bill Clinton—who was impeached by the U.S. House of Representatives for perjury and obstruction of justice and held in contempt of court by U.S. District Judge Susan Webber Wright for giving “intentionally false” testimony—claimed to his former staffer George Stephanopoulos on ABC News’s “This Week With George Stephanopoulos” on Sunday that Sen. Ted Cruz made multiple false statements during his filibuster on the Senate floor last week. “I listened to some of Sen. Cruz’s filibuster on the health-care bill and he just kept making all these claims that just aren’t so and everybody knows they’re not,” Clinton told

There´s the old, "and everyone knows that" canard. They use it along with the psychological bullying tactic, "Reasonably people know that we´re right about this," without the media ever forcing them to produce any facts.

Bill Clinton wouldn´t know a "fact" if it wound up in his pants.

Look up mendacity in the dictionary and you will find Slick Willies photo, FTA:
"Clinton did not specifically cite any false claim that he claims Cruz made on the Senate floor, nor did Stephanopoulos ask Clinton to give any examples of false statements by Cruz or in any way justify his assertion that Cruz had made such statements."

Amazing, coming from the King of Liars and one of his top enablers.

Please, someone, clarify this for me. Is this the same Bill "Horn Dog" Clinton who turned his wife into "the most humiliated woman in the world"?

Is that the Bill Clinton we are talking about? The one who had sexual relations with a young White House intern about the age of his daughter at the time?

Sexual relations that would have been equated to statutory rape if Horn Dog had been a Republican?

Is this the same Bill Clinton as that one?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Bill Clinton and his fellow democrats lie because they know they will not be challenged. If he thought George would have asked a follow-up question, he would not have made such a definitive statement. He would have nuanced his words leaving plenty of wiggle room. The media in this country carry the water for any democrat no matter how much they lie. This will not change unless they are confronted. That is why Andrew Breitbart was such a threat. He got in their faces and demanded truth. We lost a fearless warrior with Andrew´s passing.

Maybe instead of Madam it should read "Madman B J" worn-out product and when the GOP Senate in 2014 fixes the economy like the Contract with America´s eager young Republicans did for last social democrat flower kids, Hil and Bill, the sheeple may get over their "both parties are the same" idiocy.

U.S. military assets in the Black Sea are on high alert amid reports Ukraine troops traded gunfire Tuesday with pro-Russian militants. A journalist with Associated Press reported intense gunfire at an airport in eastern Ukraine after the government sent in army troops to retake control from militiamen loyal to Russian President Vladimir Putin. The mayor of Kramatorsk told the Associated Press that Ukrainian troops have now occupied the military airport and are blocking its entrance. The action comes a day after the revelation a Russian fighter jetted buzzed a U.S.S. destroyer multiple times over the Black Sea.

House Democrats are rolling out a new strategy to target 30 House Republicans on immigration reform during the two-week congressional recess, marking a last-ditch effort to force GOP action on a legislative overhaul. The new pressure tactic includes a memo distributed to those 30 districts held by Republicans who have expressed public support for some sort of immigration reform, many of them backing a pathway to citizenship for millions of undocumented immigrants in the United States. Democrats hope the document — which highlights statements made by those Republicans in favor of reform, as well as data showing the district-specific economic

Scott Walker has a 16 point lead (56-40) among likely voters in his race for governor, according to a poll from Wisconsin Public Radio/St. Norbert’s. Among registered voters, his lead is essentially the same (55-40). The survey was conducted between March 24 and April 3. A Marquette University survey conducted between March 20-23 also showed Walker with a nice, though smaller, lead. In that poll, Walker outdistanced Democrat Mary Burke 48-41. Revealingly, Walker fares well in an electorate that does not seem particularly conservative and that, if anything, appears to be slightly to the left of American voters in general.

A rapid shift to wind and solar power is needed if the world is to avoid catastrophic global warming, the United Nations warns in a crucial report today. Emissions of greenhouse gases need to be cut by up to 70 per cent before 2050 to control climate change, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) says. ‘Large-scale changes in energy systems’ are required, with coal power stations to be switched off and replaced by wind and solar. And the transformation needs to be made in the next 15 years or controlling climate change will become increasingly harder and more expensive. The report was published

Chelsea Clinton says when people ask her these days whether she wants to go into politics, her answer isn’t an automatic “no.” The 34-year-old former first daughter told Fast Company in an interview published Monday, “for so long the answer was just a visceral no. Not because I had made any conscientious, deliberate decision, but since people had been asking for as long as literally I could remember, it was no." Now, the only child of former President Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton explains, "I live in a city and a state and a country where I

Although the Civil Rights Act, the landmark legislation which just reached its 50th anniversary, made great strides in desegregating the economy, economic discrimination is still widespread, and anti-discrimination legislation alone can never rectify the economic damage inflicted upon blacks by slavery and our Jim Crow apartheid regime. The Civil Rights Act was a mild reform, all things considered, but one conservatives fought with vigor and one many conservatives are still bitter about to this day. When the Civil Rights Act passed in 1964, the primary purpose was to root out discrimination in public accommodations (like hotels and movie theaters)

Funny question in the headline, yes? But since President Obama worries more about the threat of terrorists´ improvised nuclear device going off in a major American city than anything Russia can throw at us, I was wondering if the government had deigned to share with us citizens any tips for, you know, surviving something their own intelligence points to as the likeliest unlikely Black Swan event. Well, no. And yes. No — very few people in Washington, D.C., who work for the government have any idea what they would do if a 10-kiloton nuclear device exploded at the intersection of 16th and K

When President Obama needed a preacher to fulfill the closing prayer duties at the annual White House Easter Prayer Breakfast, he turned to none other than the Episcopal Church’s first openly gay bishop — who said he was as shocked as anyone at the appointment. The Right Rev. Gene Robinson said in a tweet, accompanied by a photo of Mr. Obama behind a podium at the event: “POTUS ‘preaches’ at the Easter prayer breakfast. Then, out of the blue, asks ME to close with prayer. OMG!” Newsmax said he also emphasized that the words he chose to close the breakfast

President Obama pulled a surprise move Monday at the White House’s Easter Prayer Breakfast when he selected Gene Robinson to lead the closing prayer. Robinson is famously known as the first openly gay Episcopal bishop. Talking Points Memo’s Tom Kludt spotted the following tweet from Robinson, who was in attendance: (Tweet) Robinson, 66, became diocesan bishop of New Hampshire in March 2004. He retired in January 2013 and is currently a senior fellow at the progressive

A Russian fighter jet made multiple, close-range passes near an American warship in the Black Sea for more than 90 minutes Saturday amid escalating tensions in the region, a U.S. military official said Monday. In the first public account of the incident, the official said the Russian Fencer flew within 1,000 yards of the USS Donald Cook, a Navy destroyer, at about 500 feet above sea level. Ship commanders considered the actions provocative and inconsistent with international agreements, prompting the ship to issue several radio queries and warnings. The fighter appeared to be unarmed and never was in danger of
