Driving affects ovaries and pelvis,
Saudi sheikh warns women

Al Arabiya, by Staff

Original Article

Posted By:mitzi, 9/29/2013 12:27:01 PM

Saudi women seeking to challenge a de facto ban on driving should realize that this could affect their ovaries and pelvises, Sheikh Saleh bin Saad al-Luhaydan, a judicial and psychological consultant to the Gulf Psychological Association, told Saudi news website sabq.org. Driving “could have a reverse physiological impact. Physiological science and functional medicine studied this side [and found] that it automatically affects ovaries and rolls up the pelvis. This is why we find for women who continuously drive cars their children are born with clinical disorders of varying degrees,” Sheikh al-Luhaydan said. Saudi female activists have launched an online campaign

It´s not a matter of "third century" --- a kind of chronological snobbism. There were plenty of sensible, responsible and decent people in the third century, whether you´re talking Pagan, Christian or Jew.

The problem is Islam. In any century.

So, it´s driving a car that affects the ovaries and pelvis, but not riding in a car? How does the body differentiate between the two activities?

#23 is absolutely right! I have lived and worked in some of these countries. The officials absolutely give very little respect to anything that comes out of a woman´s mouth! It is a huge mistake for the US to have a female Secretary of State. Right or wrong, other countries(and not only Islamic countries)consider it a slap in the face to have to negotiate with a woman. Modern diplomacy is complicated enough without introducing a further complication in sending a woman. Our country is unique among major powers in putting women on equal footing with men.

Another goofy statement from the insouciant murdering nihilists. They have pushed me to my limit. I no longer find even this insane goofiness funny. It´s just more ridiculousness from people who demonstrate they have no moral boundaries. They murder innocent schoolboys in their sleep and execute women and children at a shopping mall. Their members who claim to be moderate should be speaking out and condemning these actions yet they remain mute. One hundred plus murders in the last few days and all we hear from them is inane statements about who should be allowed to drive. (I´m self censoring my last sentence. It´s often combined with a hand gesture.)

Two white adults divided the toys, one equally and the other unequally. Seventy per cent of the toddlers chose to play with the researcher who distributed the toys fairly. But in a second test, when one researcher favoured a white recipient over an Asian one, they picked the ‘fair’ researcher less often, the journal Frontiers in Psychology reports.
