Rouhani tweets inside dish
on Obama phone call

NBC News, by Becky Bratu and Michael O´Brien

Original Article

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani had finished his last meetings in New York Friday and was in a car headed to the airport when President Barack Obama called. (Snip) The Iranian press office added: "The Iranian and U.S. presidents underlined the need for a political will for expediting resolution of West´s standoff with Iran over the latter´s nuclear program. President Rouhani and President Obama stressed the necessity for mutual cooperation on different regional issues." For his part, Rouhani took to Twitter to reveal what the two leaders discussed.

Tweets are included with article. Sorry but I am underwhelmed.

Barry desperately trying to get this mook on the phone before he left U.S. soil is reminiscent of the time Madeline Albright went running after that other terrorist, Yassir Arafat, as he left the negotiating table so she could say they agreed on something.

My country has become an international laughing stock.....thanks again 0bama.

The Secret Service detail escorting Rouhani to JFK surely had instructions to call Obama with the Iranian´s cell phone # (part of security) so that Obama could place a hurried phone call to the limo. Fact that Obama had to call Rouhani is bad enough, but he had to call the Iranian when Rouhani couldn´t say he was "in a meeting" or "having dinner with real world leaders" is a total embarrassment for the US. Obama will allow Iran to develop, test and deploy nuclear bombs.

I suppose that after communicating with Obama, the Iranian leader had some more stuff painted on the side of his missiles. Death to America and Death to Israel were already there so he had ´USA leader is Incoherent Wimp´ added.

I want to object to the first two listed, but agree with the third one. I bet the translator didn´t understand a word the Tele-prompter said.

Obama chases this weirdo around the U.N. desperate for a handshake and when he doesn´t get one is desperate for a phone call. POTUS is like some love sick adolescent. We are now the pitiful helpless giant Nixon warned we would be. Say what you want about Nixon but we were respected internationally under him. And under Reagan and, yes, under both Bushes. Sometimes hated but respected. We are more of a laughing stock now than we were under Carter and that´s saying something. Clinton --- CLINTON --- engendered more respect than does Obama. Teddy Roosevelt is rolling in his grave.

Oh brother.

1. Obama calls Rouhani, not the other way around.

2. Nothing of substance gets said or done.

3. Obama´s 3-time Rouhani snub must have seriously hurt (a) Obama´s ego or (b) his standing in America and across the word, or (c) his already damaged credibility.

I see a light at the end of this dark, dark tunnel and am beginning to hope that the commentators who claim Obama´s reign of terror is coming to an end maybe actually be right.

You don´t let snubs like that go if you are an egomaniacal head of State who wants absolute power over your people and their land and their freedom. Obama couldn´t afford to let the snub stand for his ego´s sake and for his socialist aspirations´ sake.

"In a phone conversation b/w #Iranian & #US Presidents just now: @HassanRouhani: "Have a Nice Day!" @BarackObama: "Thank you. Khodahafez."

Khoda hafez / Khuda Hafiz is a common parting phrase in the Persian language used in Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Tajikistan and to a lesser extent, Iraq, Kurdistan, and the Indian subcontinent. Literally translated it is: "May God be your Guardian"

Now, my question is which God might that be? The Christian/Hebrew God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob or Allah, the god worshiped in Iran???? PS, they are NOT the same.

WASHINGTON — Stepping into a heated debate within the nation’s intelligence agencies, President Obama has decided that when the National Security Agency discovers major flaws in Internet security, it should — in most circumstances — reveal them to assure that they will be fixed, rather than keep mum so that the flaws can be used in espionage or cyberattacks, senior administration officials said Saturday. But Mr. Obama carved a broad exception for “a clear national security or law enforcement need,” the officials said, a loophole that is likely to allow the N.S.A. to continue to exploit security flaws both to crack

Although the Civil Rights Act, the landmark legislation which just reached its 50th anniversary, made great strides in desegregating the economy, economic discrimination is still widespread, and anti-discrimination legislation alone can never rectify the economic damage inflicted upon blacks by slavery and our Jim Crow apartheid regime. The Civil Rights Act was a mild reform, all things considered, but one conservatives fought with vigor and one many conservatives are still bitter about to this day. When the Civil Rights Act passed in 1964, the primary purpose was to root out discrimination in public accommodations (like hotels and movie theaters)

When President Obama needed a preacher to fulfill the closing prayer duties at the annual White House Easter Prayer Breakfast, he turned to none other than the Episcopal Church’s first openly gay bishop — who said he was as shocked as anyone at the appointment. The Right Rev. Gene Robinson said in a tweet, accompanied by a photo of Mr. Obama behind a podium at the event: “POTUS ‘preaches’ at the Easter prayer breakfast. Then, out of the blue, asks ME to close with prayer. OMG!” Newsmax said he also emphasized that the words he chose to close the breakfast

Hank Aaron’s recent comments about the need for America to realize that racism is still very much alive and thriving — only now due to those who wear “neckties and starched shirts” rather than KKK hoods — has sparked an angry backlash and many fans are turning the tables, calling the baseball legend himself a racist. “Hank Aaron is a s*****g piece of [expletive] [racial slur],” one man said in an email to the Atlanta Braves’ front office, one of the teams Mr. Aaron used to play for, CBS News reported. “My old man instilled in my mind from a

A Russian fighter jet made multiple, close-range passes near an American warship in the Black Sea for more than 90 minutes Saturday amid escalating tensions in the region, a U.S. military official said Monday. In the first public account of the incident, the official said the Russian Fencer flew within 1,000 yards of the USS Donald Cook, a Navy destroyer, at about 500 feet above sea level. Ship commanders considered the actions provocative and inconsistent with international agreements, prompting the ship to issue several radio queries and warnings. The fighter appeared to be unarmed and never was in danger of

Some time back, whenever a big racial controversy erupted, I trained myself into the habit of reading about it at FoxNews.com, just for the unbelievable comment threads. Let’s put it this way: If my friends and I went out to a bar and started playing a “let’s write the racist FoxNews.com comment thread” drinking game, our efforts couldn’t begin to approach what I read there.I wasn’t alone. Liberal websites started feasting on these threads. And so, a couple of years ago, Ailes & Co. got wise. Stories about race were, at least in my disheartened experience, closed to comments.
