White House compares GOP to terrorists
as government shutdown nears

Washington Times, by Dave Boyer

Senior White House adviser Dan Pfeiffer on Thursday compared Republican lawmakers to suicide bombers as the showdown over a possible government shutdown intensified. “We are for cutting spending, we are for reforming our tax code, we are for reforming entitlements,” Mr. Pfeiffer told CNN’s Jake Tapper. “But what we are not for is negotiating with people who have a bomb strapped to their chest.” Mr. Pfeiffer, 37, who was hospitalized twice this month for stroke-like symptoms, also compared the GOP to arsonists and kidnappers. He called Republicans’ bid to attach other priorities to a debt-ceiling bill “ransom demands.” “It’s not

Almost 200 innocent people were ruthlessly slaughtered by muslim terrorists and this POS calls folks who want limited government terrorists.

I say shut down this corrupt enterprise.
Let´s see what part of this bloated behemoth is necessary and what is just a mirage.
Many individuals will suffer, I understand, but to separate the wheat from the chaff is essential to pare down the out of control, amoral, special interest, self interest, bureaucratic cluster puck that has become our self government. Defund the rotten mess and we´ll pick up the essentials after the implosion. Let DC choke on them selves!

If Republicans were actual terrorists, Barack Obama would be doing everything he could to help us.

But, we´re not butchering babies, we´re not blowing up little girls for learning to read, we´re not flying planes into buildings or beheading our critics, so Wise King Barky hates us all the more.

Go to hell, Barky, and take that ugly wookie you call your wife with you.

Why on earth would the writer of this article find it necessary to include this statement?

Pfeiffer, 37, hospitalized twice this month for stroke symptoms. To coin a phrase...what difference does that make? Are we now to feel pity for him or sorry for his woes at having to deal with the pitfalls of O-care? oops forgot, he´s with the government and has his own health insurance not the pig slop the serfs must use. That they force us to use leftover slop is terrorist in action.

Any terror that is being committed is by the ruling class on both sides of the aisle. They have an exemption from Obamacare but intend to foist it on the rest of us knowing we want no part of it. Was this country not founded on the principle that we are all equal under the law? We rejected the idea of an aristocracy living under one set of rules and the rest of us under another. That is tyranny and should enrage any American. It goes against everything the framers envisioned for this country. The ruling class is attempting to consolidate their power for generations to come with Obamacare.

This sick name calling of fellow Americans is beyond belief. It´s like 6th graders who think they are the most popular in school and anyone who disagrees with them are to be scorned. We have lost control of our country. I don´t know if we can get it back but I pray we can. For starters, term limits. Once someone is entrenched in a job as senator or congressman, they hold it forever. That was not the intent of the founding fathers - for the very reasons that we see going on right now in Washington.

obamacare, as written, is on track for killing more Americans, particularly those on medicare, than any terrorist ever did. It will be a bureaucrat that kills the elderly, and the weak and sick. It could be Grandma or it could be the premie baby that might otherwise live but the expense of the care will not be covered. Meanwhile the prisoner who wants gender reassignment will get it. Who are the cruel and heartless terrorists ?

Very funny, yet true #7 re "he would help us". What was the saying? If you are taking flak, you must be over the target? Watching the different foaming at the mouth democrats run their spin/propaganda on Cspan Thursday was worth lots of laughs. Oh the scary stories. The propaganda they come up with is unbelievable. We are penetrating their fake shields and yes they are getting very worried. I say send the Feds home, lance the boil, show them we mean business. Their sad stories re the inconvenience to Federal workers is nothing compared to what ACA will do to this nation long term.

BTW: This saying the democrats came out with after the 2012 election, that "elections have consequences", as stated by both Donna Brazile and John McCain, etc is not how it should be perceived. So we get punished when we lose to people like Obama? No, elections are supposed to have RESULTS and so far there´s nothing to show. from Obama being reelected except an even more dysfunctional country, more disrespected, less safe(notice how there are new shootings/bombings every time Obama screws up and needs a subject change?), less prosperous, less employment, more expensive healthcare. Good things are supposed to come from elections not bad, not consequences.

After all (her reasoning goes,) we´ve all been trained in the use of firearms, and that makes us dangerous --- even me, who was a returning vet shortly after Ft. Sumpter was fired upon.

So, according to the cerebrially-impaired children running things in the WH, I´m a double terrorist. I know how to shoot, and I´m a republican.

For the long-term unemployed, finding a job is hard — but keeping one may be even harder. New research tracking people who have been out of work for six months or longer found that 23 percent of them landed a job within a few months of the study. But a year later, more than a third of that group was unemployed again or out of the labor force altogether. The findings are the latest in a bleak but growing body of literature suggesting long-term unemployment has become a trap that is difficult to escape. Economists say that means the long-term unemployed could become a permanent underclass, left behind by the nation’s broader

Democrats have had a recurring problem in special elections this year: Their voters aren’t turning out. If a weak economy and continued Obamacare problems persist, the November elections could be a disaster for Democrats. Last week, Democrats lost two special elections they weren’t planning to. Arlington, Va., is a classic wealthy ObamaTown, filled with government workers and limousine liberals. Mitt Romney won only 29 percent of the vote in 2012. But last Tuesday, Democrats lost their first election for the five-member Arlington County Board in 15 years when John Vihstadt, a Republican running as an independent, won a vacancy on

President Obama asserts that 8 million people have signed up for Obamacare, as though that were something to be proud of. In fact, Obamacare has always been a fiasco from a fiscal perspective–a black hole of subsidies and expanded Medicaid, with largely fictitious mechanisms in place to pay for it. As the number of subsidized participants grows, the disaster gets worse. Charles Blahous explains: Our national discussion…is missing the truly significant story here; what is unfolding before our eyes is a colossal fiscal disaster, poised to haunt legislators and taxpayers for decades to come. It is quite possible that the ACA is

In an op-ed published in the Boston Globe on Easter Sunday and posted on the State Department website, Secretary of State John Kerry recalled his days as an altar boy and pointed out that he is “the first Catholic Secretary of State in 33 years.” Alexander Haig, who served as secretary of state to President Ronald Reagan from January 1981 to July 1982, was also a Catholic. Last month, I traveled to Rome with President Obama, where I was honored to meet His Holiness Pope Francis,” said Kerry. “As an altar boy six decades ago, I never imagined that I

"No, absolutely not," the November midterm election is not a referendum on President Obama and his policies, Democrat Party Chair Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.) told NBC´s "Meet the Press" on Sunday. "[T]hese elections, particularly the Senate elections, are referendums on the candidates running," she said. Asked about vulnerable Democrats who have criticized President Obama´s flawed healthcare law, Wasserman Schultz said they are running their own race. "They have to talk about and focus on the issues that are important to their constituents. And what´s also true is, if you look at the success rate and the track record of

“On the third day, he rose again.” That line, from the Nicene Creed, is a foundational statement of Christian belief. It declares that three days after Jesus died on the cross, he was resurrected, a glimmer of the eternal life promised to believers. It’s the heart of the Easter story in seven little words. But how that statement is interpreted is the source of some of the deepest rifts in Christianity — and a stumbling block for some Christians, and more than a few skeptics. Did Jesus literally come back from the dead in a bodily resurrection, as many traditionalist

An unholy alliance between the Tea Party and the teachers’ unions threatens to derail the most promising education reform in decades. Like Rocky in the early rounds, the new Common Core math and reading standards are being pummeled left and right. From the left: Education icon Diane Ravitch says the Common Core represents a “utilitarian view of education” that is too focused on testing, data, and accountability. From the right, “ObamaCore” is denounced as federal intrusion. Heritage Foundation education fellow Lindsey Burke calls it “an effort to impose a uniform, standardized curriculum across the country.” From the further right, the always

If expanding the guest list to include Michelle Obama at graduation for high school students in the Kansas capital city means fewer seats for friends and family, some students and their parents would prefer the first lady not attend. A furor over what the Topeka school district considers an honor has erupted after plans were announced for Obama to address a combined graduation ceremony for five area high schools next month an 8,000-seat arena. For some, it was the prospect of a tight limit on the number of seats allotted to each graduate. For others, it was the notion that Obama´s speech,

New York Times columnist David Brooks said Sunday that he believes President Obama’s foreign policy isn’t “tough enough” and that he has a “manhood problem” when it comes to dealing with leaders such as Russian President Vladimir Putin and Syrian President Bashar Assad. Mr. Brooks expanded on Sen. Bob Corker’s earlier comments on “Fox News Sunday” that Mr. Obama is “creating an air of permissiveness” with regards to Russia. (Snip) “And let’s face it, Obama, whether deservedly or not, does have a — I’ll say it crudely — but a manhood problem in the Middle East,” he continued.
