Does Aaron Alexis Represent
A New Breed of Killer?

American Thinker, by Jack Cashill

Original Article

In the search for parallels to explain Aaron Alexis´s killing spree at the Washington Navy Yard on Monday, the media have turned reflexively to recent incidents in Aurora, Colorado, and Sandy Hook, Connecticut. Almost no one in the media, however, has made the obvious comparison to Christopher Dorner, the former Los Angeles Police Department officer who killed four people and wounded three others in a ten-day spree last February that ended with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Although the most visible point of comparison is race and gender -- black and male -- both were born in New York City

These mass shootings get a lot of on the spot coverage for a couple days until they figure out the shooter is some form of liberal and then they change the subject to gun control or whatever.

If a white NRA member ever went on a shooting spree,it would be wall to wall coverage for weeks if not months. The government would demand that the organization be outlawed for an outsized threat to public safety. For all intents and purposes it would be the end of the 2nd amendment.

It all boils down to liberals being the most unhinged people by far and the explanation is simple. Not only does government operate off utopian principles,so do everyday liberals who get extremely frustrated when their personal life doesn´t live up to their utopian paradigm.

There´s no flexibility in a liberal´s mind when reality sets in and they have no coping skills to deal with it.Obviously, not all take to guns but there´s a hell of a lot of other violence, especialy against women in this country. The court system, ran by mosty liberals doesn´t take violence and rape against women seriously enough.

You have offshoots of the LBGT crowd now that wants to give pedos a free pass because they´re born with the problem.Years ago when they declared alcoholism a disease, they said people inherit it,thus have no control.

They used "gay" penguins at one time to demonstrate that homosexuality occurs in the animal kingdom also. They was debunked later on when one of the "gay" pengins found a girlfriend.

the whole thing is worse for blacks who have been brainwashed for decades that government is the only answer to their plight and Obama has been a huge letdown for them but they blame stingy republicans.

People used to object to "uppity" blacks, those who didn´t "know their place." Those phrases, and many more, expressed awareness by the community that lower classes (of any color, by the way) tended to continue in their poverty and ignorance precisely because they imagined (and trumpeted) their own victimization.

Rather than apply hard work, persistence, patience, and gratitude, too many have been "lazy," ungrateful, promiscuous, unmarried, gang-involved and criminal. Some stereotypes just have too much truth in them!

Nothing better depicted Obama´s illegal tampering with the clear words of ObamaCare -- his announcement this week that he was delaying the employer mandate for medium-sized companies -- than Michael Ramirez´ brilliant cartoon showing the law as a blank page in which Obama had continually changed its words and meaning. Along similar lines, Charles Krauthammer observes: But generally speaking you get past the next election by changing your policies, by announcing new initiatives, but not by wantonly changing the law lawlessly. This is stuff you do in a banana republic. It´s as if the law is simply a blackboard on which Obama

In the business world, a diligent board of directors would have long ago fired CEO Obama. Sometimes it takes only a year of less than expected earnings to result in the termination of a corporate CEO. A couple of underperforming years and a few reasons more, and a CEO would have his bags packed and stowed underneath his buck-stopping desk. A long list of problems -- especially one suggesting even a hint of fraud -- that fails to generate a satisfactory board response would stir shareholders and lenders to demand the resignation of not only the CEO and other key employees,

This week the big story was the tag end of the old JournoList gang trying to spin gold out of the dross of the Congressional Budget Report. The CBO report projected that by 2021 under ObamaCare more than 2 million full-time workers will find it financially advisable to quit work entirely or switch to part-time jobs in order to get more subsidies for healthcare insurance. To most of us who studied real economics or just paid attention to human nature, subsidizing indolence means you´ll get more of it. But to the airheads on the left and their JournoList spinmasters -- the

This week to an ever-diminishing audience President Obama outlined a pedestrian plan for the remainder of this year, amidst the usual hornswoggle of invited guests in the gallery and dubious daytime TV style anecdotal stories of their lives. More popular than ever is the wish that we could return to State of the Union messages being delivered on paper to Congress. In the meantime my friend Ignatz, the genius Sultan Knish (Daniel Greenfield) and even Vladimir Putin offered up some sage observations which underscore the rot at the heart of the administration and his party and the likely consequences of their

Barack Obama´s Constant State

Contradicting the faultless, albeit far-fetched image he has of himself, Barack Obama is a man harassed by truth. That´s why, judging from his inability to accept personal responsibility, Barack Obama must be living in a constant state of agitated cognitive dissonance. The late Leon Festinger is the social psychologist who proposed the theory of cognitive dissonance. According to Festinger, until the person suffering with perceptual disharmony can find a way to justify wrong actions and decisions, it´s impossible to achieve a calm mental state, especially when those wrong actions and decisions challenge the way the cognitively dissonant individual sees himself.

In 1994 or early 1995 the still unknown Barack Obama sent his editor at Times Books, Henry Ferris, the first two-thirds of his memoir Dreams from My Father. He told Ferris that to complete the book, he had to return to Kenya to do some research. The evidence strongly suggests that Obama went not to Kenya to do that research but to the local library to do some borderline plagiarizing. In the way of background, Barack and Michelle Obama visited Kenya in the summer of 1992 and married in October of that year. There is little dispute about the timing of

Many people, including the New York Times´ editorial page editor, found it puzzling that one of New York´s leftist mayor Bill De Blasio´s first priorities was ridding the city of one of its iconic diversions, the horse-drawn carriages at Central Park. They are simply not cynical enough. No matter how closely a politician may cleave to left wing (even communist) doctrines and personnel, follow the money. Robert Stacy McCain writes in The American Spectator: The bad guy in this drama, according to the carriage drivers, is Steve Nislick, chief executive officer of a New Jersey-based real-estate development company, Edison Properties.

CHATTANOOGA, TENN. — The UAW suffered a devastating defeat at Volkswagen’s plant here as workers rejected union representation by a 712-626 margin. The defeat, which came despite Volkswagen’s neutrality, tarnishes UAW President Bob King’s legacy and could make it next to impossible for the union to extend its reach beyond domestic automakers.
“While we certainly would have liked a victory for workers here, we deeply respect the Volkswagen Global Group Works Council, Volkswagen management and (German union) IG Metall for doing their best to create a free and open atmosphere for workers to exercise their basic human right to form a union,” King said in a statement.

Americans watching the Affordable Care Act’s implementation are witnessing a government policy debacle that is as large as any in memory. It is hard to imagine a more vivid demonstration of the ruinous consequences of government stepping into a market in which it doesn’t belong. And, sadly, what we are seeing now is only the beginning of the policy’s failure. In its most updated assessment of the ACA, the government’s own Congressional Budget Office caught the Democrats flat-footed by projecting that the law is severely flawed on a number of fronts, matching in many ways what the ACA opponents clearly

With the House passing the “clean” debt ceiling bill and sending it to the Democratic-controlled Senate, it was clear that this particular bill was going to be passed and sent to the president for his signature. But Cruz didn´t want to let Senate Republicans, including Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., off the hook and give President Obama a blank check to once again increase the debt ceiling as we are drowning in red ink. He didn't want Republicans to simply vote against the bill, hiding behind the Democrat majority who were sure to pass it.
