I keep asking myself: why Syria? Why now? No war in America history has ever been opposed by 71% of the citizens, or 75% of the military. That’s how absurd and unnecessary this potential war is. Then, when you realize Obama has had so many scandals and failures to hide, war is the perfect cover story to mask the most disastrous record in modern presidential history. Obama is a desperate man. He has to cover-up the truth.
TY Mr Root. Right on. This president is a disgrace. He has been a disgrace for years. One scandal after another with no consequences for anyone involved except one man who was telling the truth about Benghazi..,,again. Disgraceful.....
He´ not a con man. He is not fooling anyone. There are those of us who spotted this phoney right out of the gate. WE have only been surprised by how much WORSE he turned out to be than anyone imagined.
His supporters are clueless brain dead drones, lo-fos, and run of the mill leftists, Marxists and just plain America haters and enemies.
And the press is not fooled either. They know he is a light weight, an empty suit, an incompetent buffoon... but useful to their own anti-American ends..
No, he´s a con man. A conniving, evil Islamist Communist who wants to destroy America and Israel and facilitate a worldwide caliphate. That´s why he´s arming Al Quaeda in Syria, supporting the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, overthrew Libya for Islamists, abandoned Afghanistan (the war he said we had to win) for Iran to take over, failed to support a moderate, secular Iranian opposition, etc.
#5 and #8, Obama´s primary support may come from the naive and uninformed, but he could not cause all this damage if wiser men were not convinced that he is simply incompetent rather than deliberately destructive. Otherwise they would be able to expose his schemes for all to see and prevent him from succeeding in destroying America.
When not ONE of the 535 men and women in congress who each took an OATH to protect and defend the Constitution would lift a finger to enforce the most basic of requirements: that only a Natural Born Citizen could be POTUS, and thus gave this impostor enormous power to destroy our way of life... I can only surmise that all 535 of them MUST be either corrupt themselves, or just COWARDS. Either way, the message that Obama got form this was clear enough: He can do ANYTHING he wants! and what he wants is to go down in history as having single handedly DESTROYED the once Greatest Nation the Earth has ever seen. THAT is the legacy he most ardently seeks to establish.
And he intends to do it with the blood of your sons and daughters and friends and relatives and he doesn´t care how many loved ones die as long as he still gets to use Air Force One as a golf cart unhindered. He needs to be removed from office and if any senators disagree, they should be jailed for aiding and abetting an enemy of the state in a time of war.
FARMINGTON — Officials from the New Mexico Health Insurance Exchange have reached out to communities throughout the state to explain the exchange and new insurance plans, periodically holding seminars in San Juan County. But many of those seminars have been sparsely attended. A free health insurance exchange seminar and dinner scheduled last week in Bloomfield was cancelled due to a lack of response. "We advertised for three weeks before, put it on our reader board and hand-delivered invitations to various doctor´s offices and small businesses," said Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce President Janet Mackey. "We only had seven people RSVP, and since we
KOB Eyewitness News 4 has learned more about the driver who led New Mexico State Police on a wild chase, all while she had her five children in the vehicle. Oriana Farrell and her five kids were visiting from Tennessee on what police say she called an “educational trip of New Mexico.” They’ll be here for the forseeable future now, as Farrell fights the charges against her. Dashcam video shows 39-year-old Oriana Farrell and several of her five children in a screaming match with a state police officer, minutes after he pulled her over for a speeding ticket. The video
KTM factory motorcycle racer Kurt Caselli was killed last night as he was racing this year´s running of the Baja 1000. It´s not immediately clear what happened, but early reports are that he was killed when he hit some sort of man-made booby trap set by locals along the course. Caselli, 30, was near the end of the race when he hit the obstacle around 5 PM PST yesterday. He was transported to the hospital with major head injuries, according to Dirt Bike Magazine, but unfortunately succumbed to them during the night. Details are still emerging, but booby traps are
Here we go again. On Tuesday, Fox News reporter Jana Winter will be back in court, this time in Albany, continuing her fight to avoid jail and protect her confidential sources. On that day, the New York State Court of Appeals, the state’s highest court, will hear her plea to reverse a lower state court ruling which orders her to return to Aurora, Colorado to testify in the trial of James Holmes, the man charged with 166 felony charges, including 24 counts of first degree murder, in the movie theater massacre at a midnight showing of “Batman, The Dark Knight
Republican Gov. Susana Martinez on Friday chose a member of her own party to succeed Stephen Easley, the late Democratic state representative. Martinez selected Vickie Perea of Belen for the House District 50 seat. Perea will serve out Easley´s term, which ends on Dec. 31, 2014. Easley, of El Dorado, died in August at age 60. Perea, 67, ran unsuccessfully for the state Senate in 2012. Democrat Clemente Sanchez defeated her in the general election. In appointing Perea, Martinez has narrowed the gap between Democrats and Republicans in the House of Representatives. Democrats will have a 37-33 advantage, compared to 38-32
If you ask Larry Beck, "arch-o-holism" is the only addiction to have.Beck, president of the Natural Arch and Bridge Society, member of Seniors Outdoors and admitted "arch-o-holic," has been actively hunting natural arches throughout the Southwest for more than 20 years. Beck, at age 62, shows no signs of slowing down. "People ask, ´Where do you live?´ and I tell them, ´I don´t know, I guess wherever I´m parked,´" Beck said. "Oftentimes I´ll drive down an old oil and gas road I´ve been down many times before and, suddenly, the sunlight will pop and sparkle through a tiny opening in
Lou Reed, a massively influential songwriter and guitarist who helped shape nearly fifty years of rock music, died today. The cause of his death has not yet been released, but Reed underwent a liver transplant in May. With the Velvet Underground in the late Sixties, Reed fused street-level urgency with elements of European avant-garde music, marrying beauty and noise, while bringing a whole new lyrical honesty to rock & roll poetry. As a restlessly inventive solo artist, from the Seventies into the 2010s, he was chameleonic, thorny and unpredictable, challenging his fans at every turn. Glam, punk and alternative rock
Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius is rebuffing calls from Republicans for her to resign over the troubled launch of the ObamaCare sign-up website, saying those asking her to resign are “people I don’t work for.” Sebelius gave the comments on a tour Thursday of an ObamaCare call center in Phoenix, which kicks off a multi-city tour by administration officials to promote the health care law amid the website´s troubles. Sebelius said “no one is getting fired” over the litches and that her main focus is to get the website up and running.
For decades, strange lights in the night sky and mysterious cattle mutilations have sparked rumors of a secret underground alien base near the small northern New Mexico town of Dulce, which is tribal headquarters of the Jicarilla Apache Nation. A new book, "Dulce Base: the Truth and Evidence from the Case Files of Gabe Valdez," purports to solve the mystery. It claims that humans, not aliens, are behind the strange happenings.
Debbie and Larry Underkoffler launched a boutique staffing agency in what they call the worst economy ever, doing anything they could to stand out to potential clients. "I would bake sourdough bread, and I made homemade strawberry jam, and deliver it to my prospects," Debbie Underkoffler told Fox News. "I would also deliver homemade cookies." Through years of hard work, they built North Georgia Staffing to the point it now has 18 full-time employees, whom the Underkofflers happily provide with generous health benefits. "We have very good employees, and we want to take very good care of them," Debbie Underkoffler
In the Obama administration’s Washington, government officials are increasingly afraid to talk to the press. Those suspected of discussing with reporters anything that the government has classified as secret are subject to investigation, including lie-detector tests and scrutiny of their telephone and e-mail records. An “Insider Threat Program” being implemented in every government department requires all federal employees to help prevent unauthorized disclosures of information by monitoring the behavior of their colleagues.
While national parks and monuments are closed because of the federal government shutdown, it is business as usual at the Four Corners Monument. The monument remains open because it is solely operated by the Navajo Nation Parks and Recreation Department, which manages six other parks on tribal land. "The tourists really appreciate this park being opened," said a park employee, who declined to give her name.
When I was a kid, I knew two different Santa Clauses. The first had a fat belly, rosy cheeks, a long white beard, and skin as pink as bubble gum. He was omnipresent, visiting my pre-school and the local mall, visible in all of my favorite Christmas specials. Then there was the Santa in my family’s household, in the form of ornaments, cards, and holiday figurines. A near-carbon copy of the first one—big belly, rosy cheeks, long white beard: check, check, check. But his skin was as dark as mine. Seeing two different Santas was bewildering. Eventually I asked my father what
US President Barack Obama may have moved the masses attending Nelson Mandela’s memorial service with his stirring eulogy, but it was his grinning "selfie" with the Danish and British premiers that set social networks abuzz. In a candid moment captured by a photographer, Denmark’s Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt can be seen holding up her smartphone, with Obama lending a helping hand, as they pose for a picture with David Cameron, all three of them smiling broadly in their seats at Soweto’s World Cup stadium.(Snip)Mashable, the news and technology website, ran the photograph under the headline: ‘‘Dear Obama: Funerals are no place
Johannesburg - A man who provided sign language interpretation on stage for Nelson Mandela´s memorial service, attended by scores of heads of state, was a "fake," the national director of the Deaf Federation of South Africa said on Tuesday. Asked about the claim by The Associated Press, South Africa´s government said it was preparing a statement. Three sign language experts said the man was not signing in South African or American sign languages. South African sign language covers all of the country´s 11 official languages, according to the federation. It wasn´t immediately clear if the unidentified man was using a
On his way to the podium at the memorial ceremony for former South African president Nelson Mandela, President Obama walked down the line of dignitaries, greeting other leaders there to pay their respects. Among the hands shaken: that of Cuban leader Raul Castro. Obama neither made a special effort to shake Castro’s hand nor to avoid him. A snub might have been awkward: In his speech, Obama praised Mandela’s “greatest gift” as “his recognition that we are all bound together in ways that can be invisible to the eye; that there is a oneness to humanity; that we achieve ourselves by
The Obama State Department has finally released a second round of photos revealing the harrowing devastation wrought by a terrorist attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi on Sept. 11, 2012. The new photographs depict rampant damage to the consulate. They show charred walls, smoldering fires, Arabic graffiti defacing exterior walls, and scattered debris throughout. The extent of the damage would lead any reasonably serious person to conclude that this was a cold, calculated attack, carefully coordinated to mark the 11th anniversary of Sept. 11, 2001. Unfortunately for the American people, the Obama-Clinton-Rice cabal that led to the Benghazi cover-up was
House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) snapped at conservative groups that have come out in opposition to the budget deal reached Wednesday between Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) and Sen. Patty Murray (D-Wash.). "They´re using the American people for their own purposes. This is ridiculous," Boehner said at a press conference with other members of House Republican leadership on Wednesday. Over the past few days, a number of conservative groups have blasted the deal because it sets discretionary spending levels in the budget higher than previous levels under sequestration. In the past three days, the influential Heritage Action, Club for Growth, Americans
A black fashion student says he was brutally attacked by a gang of Hasidic men who shouted anti-gay slurs at him while he was walking through Williamsburg after a night of partying, the Daily News has learned. Taj Patterson, 22, was headed home to Fort Greene around 4:30 a.m. on Dec. 1 when he says more than a dozen ultra-Orthodox Jewish men began assaulting him on Flushing Ave. and yelling, “Stay down, f----t!”
A “presidential selfie” featuring President Barack Obama, British Prime Minister David Cameron, and Denmark’s Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt at Nelson Mandela’s memorial service began making the rounds this morning, but it’s the person not included in the frame who caught everyone’s attention: As anyone with two eyes and a Twitter account has noticed, Michelle Obama does not appear amused. Of course, though a picture says a thousand words, not all of those words are necessarily true. FLOTUS might not have even known the photo was taking place. Or she could disapprove of funeral selfies. Either way.
Looks like this president can’t get away with flirting in front of his wife… It appears that first lady Michelle Obama was none too pleased with the way that President Barack Obama was acting toward Denmark Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt during a ceremony honoring Nelson Mandela, and before too long, they switched seats. This lmao! Michelle Obama vs Prime Minister of Denmark at Mandela´s ceremony. pic.twitter.com/Rq4uF9fTaZ — Stun (@TheBlogPirate) December 10, 2013
Barack Obama has arrived in South Africa to lead the American delegation at a memorial service for former South African President Nelson Mandela in Johannesburg. [Snip] But Mr Clinton, Mr Carter and his wife Rosalynn have all traveled separately to the event. President Obama’s job approval among American voters has dropped to negative territory with just 38 percent voicing their approval versus the 58 who says they disapprove, according to a national poll released Tuesday by the independent Quinnipiac University. That is one percent less than the 39% who said they approved of him in last month’s poll. The majority of the 2,692 registered voters the University in early December said that the president is not honest and trustworthy. When asked, “Do you approve or disapprove of the way Barack Obama is handling his job as President?,” respondents gave Obama lackluster ratings
The sign language interpreter at Nelson Mandela´s memorial yesterday "made up his own signs," according to South Africa´s deaf federation. "He´s a complete fraud," Cara Loening, director of Sign Language Education and Development in Cape Town, said according to ITV News. "He wasn´t even doing anything, There was not one sign there. Nothing. He was literally flapping his arms around." Delphin Hlungwane, an official South African sign language interpreter at DeafSA, told Reuters:
