This tells you more about the GOP than Crowley. They let this woman run a Presidential debate. Anyone with eyes, ears, and cognitive thought knows she´s a DNC operative and harbors this type of thinking. Except, that is, for the RNC.

The liberal media will do everything that it can do to make Obama look like Superman inside the USA, disregarding reality and what the rest of the world believes.

If the whole deal eventually turns to crap, Obama and his liberal media minions will blame the Russians and the Republicans.

I´m uncomfortable agreeing with libs, but:

"There is no limit to what a man can do so long as he does not care a straw who gets the credit for it." - Charles Edward Montague. Pres. Truman and BB Coach John Wooden have similar quotes attributed to them.

Rogers agrees to this principle, but wants the military option to stay on the table. The reality is that the military option cannot be "given away". Should the deal go terribly wrong: the Emperor can blame Putin, renege on the deal, and reinstate the military option. As long as we have a military, we have a military option - deals notwithstanding. "Peace through strength." Perhaps the Emperor will finally learn that.

This is about more than Syria, Obama, and Putin.
Russia supports Syria, Hezbollah, and Iran. Hezbollah and Iran desire to wipe Israel off the map. Russia lusts for power. Within months Iran will have the means to wipe Israel off the map.
The short version: We lose influence in the Mideast and one day the nukes are detonated on US soil.

The Left´s fast and furious spinning of the Obama administration´s Keystone Cops Syrian performance fools no one but themselves. I am not sure even all the Leftists are fooled. But there ARE talking points - and they have to be talked.

Obama´s ridiculous and extra-legal saber-rattling and John Kerry´s blunder(it is impossible that Assad would agree to hand over his chemical weapons) and the ensuing flipping and pinning of the U.S. to the mat by Assad and Putin are now to be represented as brilliant masterstrokes, not by our foreign adversaries, but by our domestic ones, i.e. Obama and Kerry. We can depend upon the partisan media lapdogs to pick up the spin. Candy is just doing her job, protecting the president and the Democrats.

Shout and threaten loudly but carry an unbelievably small stick which you won´t use is of course not a winning strategy in international politics. But for people like Candy and the Obamocrats it somehow makes sense.

It is worth keeping in mind that nothing whatever has changed. Nothing whatever is likely to change - at least, not for the better.

Still, we should all feel some relief that Obama´s illegal and unilateral threats to attack Syria without U.N. or international agreement or the support of the America people have stalled. Who knows what the consequences of even an "unbelievably small" attack by the U.S. would have been?
