Almost everything you think you know about the Matthew Shepard narrative is false. Matthew Shepard was the winsome young homosexual in Laramie, Wyoming who in October 1998 was tortured, killed, and left hanging grotesquely from a fence. He was discovered almost a day later and later died in the hospital from his horrific wounds. On the night of October 6, Shepard met “two strangers” in the Fireside Lounge in Laramie. The two men offered Shepard a ride home but instead drove him to a remote area, robbed him, beat him with pistols, and left him splayed on a fence.
Comments: The point of posting this story has nothing to do with the Gay issue. It´s about the disturbing ability of the incestuous liberal media to drive the narrative even when they completely misrepresent the truth. It helps one understand why we have so many lo-info voters when we see how they are fed lies, and the news is filtered to fit an agenda.
Every day we are being handed a report card on our character by people who lie, and perpetuate lies. Lying, is a hate crime.
I have had enough. We need to stand up to these bullies.
The link to the article in the Advocate confesses the lie, but in typical left wing fashion - from Oprah´s racism remarks to man-made global warming - they continue to rejoice at the results they have achieved from telling the lies. This will not stop until we stand up to this bullying.
Liberoids and radickles are addicted to lying... It´s a major part of who and what they are.
They are out of touch with the reality of the normal world, and cannot and will not fit in.
So they rewrite everything with their sick spin, to make the world look the way they want it to, and most conveniently, they are portrayed as victims of oppression, etc, so of course Big Gummint must intervene in all aspects of private life and society and the formerly "free" marketplace, to right all their perceived wrongs.
LGBTQ, you´ve come a long way, baby... And if you keep on flogging all your issues and screaming at the top of your lungs, like an infant baby, your peeps and your perps will always rush in to supply you with your latest needs, wants and demands.
It´s a racket. It´s a scam. And they love it, because with MSM´s complicity, it works for them. And the "civil rights dream" shall never die, but become an eternal agenda... to right all wrongs. (With of course the GOP as the heavy.) (Including rednecks, white supremacists, xenophobes, and the bitter clingers... ) Blame the NRA... and The Bible.
Google the name Jesse Dirkhising. No outrage, no media coverage, no books written, no plays. But a thirteen year old boy, abducted, tortured, repeatedly raped and murdered by two homosexuals. Read it and weep. And if anyone you know, throws Matthew Shepard´s name at you for why we need hate crime laws, throw Jesse Dirkhising´s name back at them and challenge them if they have even heard of him.
Matthew Shepard Inc had a predictable response - it´s all lies, fabrications and innuendos. I suppose if there were an organization called SecondTimeLucky Inc and they were making oodles of bucks from my name, they would react similarly to a seemingly well researched tell-all.
Hmmmm. Perhaps I´ve given myself an idea for a foundation. Up to this point the only foundation I´ve had was wearable...
Sadly I stopped speaking with my brother after we had a ´discussion´ about hate crime laws. I expressed the opinion that I supported the death penalty for murder - it didn´t matter why the murder was commited....shoot a clerk during a robbery or torture a gay man because he is gay...death penalty. This was not acceptable to him. In his world killing someone because they are gay is special and deserves special penalties (execute them twice?). He said some not very nice things to me. It ended the discussion. Emotion trumps common sense for liberals. They cannot think things through rationally.
The author of the book seems to have plenty of corroboration for his dispute with the official narrative. This won´t get through the leftist thought bubble, though.
To tell the truth about Matthew Shepard (and I do NOT condone what happened to him no matter the reason, BTW) is to be hateful in their eyes. Yes, even though it´s the truth. Same as St. Trayvon. They have their narrative, their belief system, their religion and you´d better not be smearing it with facts.
#8: Your post, especially the part about capital punishment, struck a chord with me.
I once taught an Introductory Psychology course in a maximum security prison outside of Pittsburgh. The majority of my students were murderers or multiple murderers. To hear them tell it, they were all innocent, or guilty only of noble crimes, such as killing a drug dealer. They were perhaps the best group of students I’ve ever had. They taught me a lot.
However, being a humanitarian, I would have mercifully executed at least half of them.
I have never really understood how a person in favor of the ethical treatment of animals (PETA) can march and protest against keeping laboratory and zoo animals in cages…and then vote against capital punishment for capital crime, thus relegating a fellow human to live in a cage for the rest of his life.
If this version of what actually happened is proven to be true, and even if it´s eventually accepted as true by the LGBT community, I guarantee that "the legend of Matthew Shepard" will still live on. They want it. They need it. They won´t let it die for any reason.
Why is story of the LGBT purported "push for civil rights" circumscribed by "intellectual fraud" against the rational human mind and the laws of nature? The same thing applies to the "Abortion" movement. Every move forward has been achieved by perverting the empirical data and the laws of science itself.
To read the following in Time magazine was stunning: "The agenda of the sexual left lives on lies. As we all know now, the back-story that brought us Roe v. Wade was a lie. And here we find the Matthew Shepard story was also a lie."
I think we all assumed that Matthew Shepard´s killer(s) were closeted gay men, and that they were lying when they used the "gay panic" defense. That´s the usual reason for supposed "straight" men beating up gay men. So, I am not sure I understand the "bombshell" portion of this new narrative. Mr Shepard was indeed killed by crucifixion, wasn´t he? It certainly doesn´t seem that such a heinous crime would come thru anything other than hate -- not jest, or sexual pleasure. The killer(s) hated what they saw in themselves. But, we already knew that. So, what make people want to buy this book?
CHINA - a 38-year-old man leaped to his death after an argument with his girlfriend who insisted they continue shopping. (snip) Eyewitnesses said Hsiao could be heard telling his girlfriend that they already had more bags than they could carry, but she insisted on hitting one more store where there was a sale on shoes. An eyewitness said: "He told her she already had enough shoes, more shoes that she could wear in a lifetime, and it was pointless buying any more. She started shouting at him, accusing him of being a skinflint, and of spoiling Christmas. It was a really heated argument."
A cancer patient, who publicly discussed the cancellation of his insurance under ObamaCare, now says he has been informed by the Internal Revenue Service that he is going to be audited. Bill Elliot appeared on Fox News on November 7th to discuss the cancellation of his insurance. He claims he was told that his cancer was considered “beyond the catastrophic previous condition” and his plan was being canceled because of ObamaCare regulations. Elliot, who has Stage 4 cancer, informed viewers he wasn’t going to pay the $1,500 a month for the new plan being offered, preferring not to burden his
A pioneering study has shown for the first time that the brains of men and women are wired up differently which could explain some of the stereotypical differences in male and female behaviour, scientists have said. Researchers found that many of the connections in a typical male brain run between the front and the back of the same side of the brain, whereas in women the connections are more likely to run from side to side between the left and right hemispheres of the brain. This difference in the way the nerve connections in the brain are “hardwired” occurs during
CNN host wondered out loud on his show this evening whether the physically unfit Chris Christie could follow the "perfect physical specimen" Barack Obama into the White House: "After the perfect Barack Obama, who´s a perfect physical specimen to many people´s eyes, does it matter?" Morgan asked his guest. "Or is actually somebody very different, someone who´s much more of a regular kind of guy who likes cheeseburgers and beer, but appears to be a straight talker, somebody perhaps more of a straight talker than it appears Barack Obama turned out to be?"
Shortly before receiving the medal of freedom from President Obama, Oprah Winfrey gave an interview to the BBC in which she seemed to chalk up much of the opposition to the president to racism: "I think there's a level of disrespect for the office that occurs ... because he's African American," she said. Her claim reminded me of the times when, as a child of the '70s, my father would ask an odd question about my friends, "What is he?" "Huh?" I'd ask. "You know, what is he — Italian? German? Lebanese? What is he?" my father replied. Colorblind eyes - I had no idea what my friends' ethnic origins were.
While just eight days of legislative business remain before lawmakers are expected to leave Washington for the winter holidays, House Speaker John Boehner maintained that immigration reform still has a spot in his majority’s agenda next year, but he does not intend to move on comprehensive legislation. (Snip)“Is immigration reform dead? Absolutely not,” Boehner, R-Ohio, told reporters during a news conference at the Capitol Thursday. “I believe that Congress needs to deal with this issue. Our committees are continuing to do their work. There are a lot of private conversations that are underway to try to figure out, how do
Phoebe Connolly, who was punched in the face and laughed at by a group of teenagers playing the random and sometimes fatal “Knockout” game in my own obscenely terrible neighborhood of Columbia Heights in Washington, D.C., appeared with Greta (snip)“I ultimately, I’ve moved past it and I really have no hard feelings about what has happened. And I just see it as another reason why we need to better support our youth with activities and youth programs, which is actually what I do for work, and it’s great to see teenagers do incredible things when they’re supported and empowered,” “
WASHINGTON — Many doctors are disturbed that they’ll be paid less – often a lot less – to care for the millions of patients who are projected to buy coverage through the health law’s new insurance marketplaces. Some have complained to medical associations – including those in Texas, California, Georgia, Connecticut and New York – saying the discounted rates could lead to a two-tiered system in which fewer doctors participate, perhaps making it harder for consumers to get the care they need. “As it is, there is a shortage of primary care physicians in the country, and they don’t have
An official with the nonprofit Obamacare enrollment group Enroll America conspired to give people’s personal information to what he thought was a political action committee, according to James O’Keefe’s latest video, provided to The Daily Caller. Enroll America, which Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius admitted to fundraising for, is a “nonpartisan” 501(c)(3) nonprofit that critics accuse of working as an unofficial Obamacare navigator across the country. Enroll America’s Texas state communications lead Christopher Tarango conspired to provide a list of potential Obamacare enrollees,
Secretary of State John Kerry announced Wednesday that he and Afghan President Hamid Karzai have reached an agreement on a critical security pact governing the presence of U.S. troops in Afghanistan beyond 2014. The document will be presented to a meeting of (snip) Kerry, though, denied that there was any sort of "apology" in the works, following reports on Tuesday that as part of the deal, President Obama would send a letter to the Afghan people acknowledging "mistakes." Kerry did not deny the possibility of a letter, but rejected the idea that any part of the deal would constitute an
If he thought his apology for his fecal fantasies about Sarah Palin was going to be the end of $#!+gate, he just dung get it. David Bauder, AP: MSNBC was not saying Tuesday whether disciplinary action is planned against show host Martin Bashir, who has apologized for “deeply offensive” comments he made about Sarah Palin…An MSNBC spokeswoman did not immediately respond to questions Tuesday about whether any further action was being contemplated against Bashir. The story here isn’t that our moral, ethical, and intellectual betters at MSNBC are stonewalling. Of course they are. The story is that they’re being forced
Representative Jan Schakowsky (D., Ill.) announced she will fast for a day as part of a push for amnesty. She will join an effort by activists on the National Mall who began fasting over a week ago. “I’m so inspired by the fasters and … how they’re willing to put their bodies on the lines, their health on the line to raise attention to an issue that is really tearing at the fabric of our country,” she said. Schakowsky, who has planned her fast for Thursday, encouraged her colleagues to join her in her day-long fast. Schakowsky, who has planned
On his way to the podium at the memorial ceremony for former South African president Nelson Mandela, President Obama walked down the line of dignitaries, greeting other leaders there to pay their respects. Among the hands shaken: that of Cuban leader Raul Castro. Obama neither made a special effort to shake Castro’s hand nor to avoid him. A snub might have been awkward: In his speech, Obama praised Mandela’s “greatest gift” as “his recognition that we are all bound together in ways that can be invisible to the eye; that there is a oneness to humanity; that we achieve ourselves by
The Obama State Department has finally released a second round of photos revealing the harrowing devastation wrought by a terrorist attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi on Sept. 11, 2012. The new photographs depict rampant damage to the consulate. They show charred walls, smoldering fires, Arabic graffiti defacing exterior walls, and scattered debris throughout. The extent of the damage would lead any reasonably serious person to conclude that this was a cold, calculated attack, carefully coordinated to mark the 11th anniversary of Sept. 11, 2001. Unfortunately for the American people, the Obama-Clinton-Rice cabal that led to the Benghazi cover-up was
A black fashion student says he was brutally attacked by a gang of Hasidic men who shouted anti-gay slurs at him while he was walking through Williamsburg after a night of partying, the Daily News has learned. Taj Patterson, 22, was headed home to Fort Greene around 4:30 a.m. on Dec. 1 when he says more than a dozen ultra-Orthodox Jewish men began assaulting him on Flushing Ave. and yelling, “Stay down, f----t!”
A “presidential selfie” featuring President Barack Obama, British Prime Minister David Cameron, and Denmark’s Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt at Nelson Mandela’s memorial service began making the rounds this morning, but it’s the person not included in the frame who caught everyone’s attention: As anyone with two eyes and a Twitter account has noticed, Michelle Obama does not appear amused. Of course, though a picture says a thousand words, not all of those words are necessarily true. FLOTUS might not have even known the photo was taking place. Or she could disapprove of funeral selfies. Either way.
US President Barack Obama may have moved the masses attending Nelson Mandela’s memorial service with his stirring eulogy, but it was his grinning "selfie" with the Danish and British premiers that set social networks abuzz. In a candid moment captured by a photographer, Denmark’s Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt can be seen holding up her smartphone, with Obama lending a helping hand, as they pose for a picture with David Cameron, all three of them smiling broadly in their seats at Soweto’s World Cup stadium.(Snip)Mashable, the news and technology website, ran the photograph under the headline: ‘‘Dear Obama: Funerals are no place
Just how much do many Hollywood liberals hate conservatives? In an interview with Playboy, Ben Affleck said, "When I watch a guy [on film] I know is a big Republican, part of me thinks, I probably wouldn’t like this person if I met him": PLAYBOY: You developed a political profile campaigning for presidential candidates Al Gore, John Kerry and Barack Obama. How did that come about? AFFLECK: I grew up in a house with a mother who was a teacher and a Freedom Rider—very left-wing Democrats living in a heterogeneous working-class neighborhood. I picked up a lot of those values there, and I
MSNBC host Melissa Harris-Perry opened her program over the weekend with a commentary about the Affordable Care Act’s colloquial moniker: “Obamacare.” She said that the word was originally created as a “derogatory term,” designed by white men as a way to delegitimize President Barack Obama and his achievement. However, she said that the term will soon be synonymous with all of Obama’s accomplishments and she urged her audience to use the term with pride. “I want to talk today about a controversial word. It’s a word that has been with us for years, and like it or not, it’s indelibly
Barack Obama has arrived in South Africa to lead the American delegation at a memorial service for former South African President Nelson Mandela in Johannesburg. President Obama will make remarks on Nelson Mandela´s legacy during a memorial service Tuesday for the late South African freedom fighter, officials said Monday. "We do expect President Obama to speak as part of the program," said Ben Rhodes, deputy national security adviser for strategic communications. The president and first lady Michelle Obama departed Monday for Johannesburg, where a Mandela memorial service will be held in a soccer stadium. Obama, who will also spend time with the Mandela family, is not scheduled to hold any bilateral meetings with foreign leaders while in South Africa, Rhodes said. Rhodes also said the
All three networks on Monday morning highlighted the appearance of the Obamas at the Kennedy Center Honors, but only ABC fawned over "fashion win" of First Lady. Lara Spencer enthused that " one of the stars of the show was Michelle Obama." An excited Spencer explained that Mrs. Obama looked "absolutely ravishing in a flowing teal gown as she accompanied President Obama." The co-host declared, "Another big fashion win for the First Lady. CBS This Morning offered a full report on the various performers who were honored, but co-anchor Charlie Rose avoided ABC´s superlatives.
President Barack Obama is bringing his family of aides and advisors down to South Africa for Nelson Mandela’s mass-media send-off. “For us it’s the President and the First Lady, the Attorney General [Eric Holder], Susan Rice, Valerie Jarrett,” Ben Rhodes, the White House’ deputy national security advisor for strategic communications, told reporters during an impromptu press conference on Air Force One. Vice President Joe Biden and Secretary of State John Kerry are staying behind, but former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was on board Air Force One as well. The memorial is expected to be attended by hundreds of world
Say goodbye to the 60-watt incandescent bulb. This year manufacturers started phasing out 100w and 75w bulbs. On January 1 it will become illegal to import or manufacture traditional 60w and 40w bulbs too. Time to stock up? Not so fast. First, check out Cree’s energy-sipping new 75-watt replacement bulb. I used to be outraged over the federal government’s draconian moves to outlaw traditional lightbulbs. For 100 years we’ve lived and thrived under the warm glow of incandescent lightbulbs. Aside from the fact that 90% of the electricity used by the bulbs is radiated in the form of heat rather than
