Union Boss Rips Obamacare:
´We´ll Be Damned if We´re Going
to Lose Our Health Insurance!´

Breitbart's Big Government, by Wynton Hall

Original Article

Posted By:M2, 9/14/2013 10:17:25 AM

A leading labor union boss delivered an impassioned rebuke of Obamacare at the AFL-CIO convention Thursday, telling attendees, "we´ll be damned if we´re going to lose our health insurance because of unintended consequences in the law!" Laborers´ International Union of North America (LIUNA) President Terry O´Sullivan said, "if the Affordable Care Act is not fixed, and it destroys the health and welfare funds that we have all fought for and stand for, then I believe it needs to be repealed. We don´t want it repealed. We want it fixed, fixed, fixed."

Comments:
Well, yes, they will be damned, like the rest of us. And why don´t they want it repealed? Getting it "fixed, fixed, fixed" was never an option. You can´t fix incomprehensible.

The union thugs should have read the bill prior to forcing its passage and helping their boss, Obie.

Now we are all screwed. Dump this idiotic government grab of our health care. We do not need over ten thousand regulations to medical treatment.

Nothing "unintended" about it. Obamacare was designed to bring in socialized medicine and you traded initial favoritism for servitude. Unions sold their members to the Democratic Party and Obama and now they´re trying to make it look like Obama´s fault.

If a law is passed that few, if any, know what it contains, then the whole law is an unintended consequence. So few people care about Union officials ( not about the members ) that they can fit in a phone booth. The Unions got what they supported. If it is not beneficial to them, then the members should simply vote out the Union leaders as incompetent. Exactly WHY do Union leaders have the influence to be allowed into the White House. Oh, they pay off the Administration in so many ways. Maybe they now realize that the Administration only cared about their votes.

#5 - it´s a multi thousand page law with tens of thousands of pages of operating instructions (called regulations).

The unions and companies that offer their members or employees medical insurance got exceptions to continue doing business under their existing policy standards until ´next year´ ~ and ´next year´ just rolled around.

The biggest part of the ´exception´ had to do with the change in coverage ~ rather than having a lifetime cap for mental health, it´s now gotta´ be open ended. Then they gotta´ offer teenage girls 3,500 condoms a year ~ mandatory, plus free abortions. Stuff like that ~

Guess they thought that could be ´fixed´ by this time. No idea how they wanted the sex stuff fixed but they wanted it outta´ there anyway.

A number of people think the ´exchanges´ are the big deal in ObamaKKKare ~ actually, they are peanuts. The big deal was forcing people to buy insurance or be subject to fine, imprisonment and other punishments (maiming perhaps?) The coverage thing was a major item as well. That hurt the insurance companies, and the rate payers, and the employers.

ObamaKKKare proposed to offload everybody who couldn´t get employer provided or ´negotiated for´ (meaning union plans) heath prepayment (insurance) to MEDICAID.

Roberts tricked the socialists on the USSC into saying ´aw, we don´t need that medicaid thing ~ we´ll get that later on in a different law)

Bet the people who the exchanges are the only thing in ObamaKKKare are the same ones who still imagine that Roberts gave the shop away to the Democrats.

He screwed it up so bad it can never be implemented, and as long as the House doesn´t fund the resultant stupidities and nonsense, this thing will crash, burn, and leave over 100 million additional people without medical insurance.

President Obama’s Internal Revenue Service today quietly released a series of Obamacare “Health Care Tax Tips” warning Americans that they must obtain “qualifying” health insurance – as defined by the federal government – or face a “shared responsibility payment” when filing their tax returns in 2015. When President Obama recently announced his unilateral order to allow health insurers to ignore ObamaCare´s mandates and regulations and keep offering health plans that people wanted to keep, it exposed another fundamental problem in the law which puts American
