A young researcher whose opinions on Syria were cited by both Senator McCain and Secretary of State John Kerry in congressional testimony last week has been fired from the Institute for the Study of War for allegedly faking her academic credentials. The institute issued a statement on its website concerning the researcher, Elizabeth O’Bagy: The Institute for the Study of War has learned and confirmed that, contrary to her representations, Ms. Elizabeth O’Bagy does not in fact have a Ph.D. degree from Georgetown University. ISW has accordingly terminated Ms. O’Bagy’s employment, effective immediately.

I´m not sure I follow this. The researcher who faked her academic credentials also made the fake claims on Syria.

So, the Syria claims are okay, but the academic claims are not? Isn´t that sort of a double standard...?

What kind of double talk is it for her to say she cannot legally discuss her credentials?? Of course she can!
I´m just surprised that Georgetown didn´t immediately offer a disclaimer on her non Ph.D. Shame on them, a once proud Jesuit University!
They have sunk to new lows, worse than the skanky gergtown girl who demanded free birth control pills to allow her to fornicate risk free.

She was on FOX News one evening and it sounded from her accent that she might be from Canada or maybe someplace else.

#12, whoever it was used simple tools available to the public, like the Wayback Machine.

The funny thing is, once Obama was elected, all kinds of places, including the Wayback Machine, Google Cache, and many, many more, underwent a massive scrubbing. They stayed, amazingly, one atep ahead of anyone looking for information on Barry Soetoro. Consider the ties we know now exist with Google, the NSA, CIA, and Obama, and this makes it obvious that our government is totally aware that Obama is as big a poseur, a usurper, as Bag Lady. This is disturbing, because it means he was installed to wrack this distruction intentionally upon our nation.

Let that sink in for a while. Bag Lady fired after simple research reveals her lies and deception that anyone could have done, compared to our pResident, whom we officially now know less about than Bag Lady.

All with the aid of the alphabet soups, MSM, and Google et al.

So why was Soetoro installed? That is the burning question. We know it was to destroy the country from the inside, but who, exactly, had the power - and above all, the sick desire to do that?

Find the answer to that question, and ye shall be rich. Find the proof, and never be forgotten in history.

Secretary of State John Kerry warned of serious repercussions for Russia on Monday if last-ditch talks over the weekend to resolve the crisis in Ukraine failed to persuade Moscow to soften its stance. Kerry will travel to London for a Friday meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov ahead of a Sunday referendum vote in the Crimea region to secede from Ukraine and join the Russian Federation. U.S. and European officials argue that Moscow is orchestrating the referendum and waging an intimidation campaign with thousands of Russian troops controlling the region. South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham, R, offered his help with the GOP House of Representatives on a stalled Ukraine assistance bill in a hot-mic moment with Secretary of State John Kerry on Thursday. The House passed Ukraine assistance legislation earlier this week, but Senate leaders rejected it on Wednesday, making for a familiar bit of congressional gridlock.

Although the government shutdown continues, it appears President Barack Obama and the White House are not getting any closer to negotiating with Republicans. A quotation from an unnamed senior administration official in today´s Wall Street Journal explains why. Said a senior administration official: "We are winning...It doesn´t really matter to us" how long the shutdown lasts "because what matters is the end result." With this view, it explains why President Obama won´t agree to any piecemeal legislation that would keep Veterans Affairs and NIH open during the shutdown. How much more will Americans take? The “fundamental transformation” of America proceeds apace. The erosion of our freedoms and traditions, once incremental and barely perceptible, accelerates daily. Armies of bureaucrats commanded by political ideologues remarkable mainly for their galactic incompetence intrude on ever more aspects of our lives — aspects both large and small. They tell us what light bulbs we’re allowed to use and how much water we may flush. They stick swabs in our mouths to collect our DNA and order us to buy health insurance we don’t want.

There were times this past week when it seemed like the 19th-century Know-Nothing Party had returned to Washington. President Obama insisted he knew nothing about major decisions in the State Department, or the Justice Department, or the Internal Revenue Service. The heads of those agencies, in turn, insisted they knew nothing about major decisions by their subordinates. It was as if the government functioned by some hidden hand. Clearly, there was a degree of willful blindness in these claims. However, the suggestion that someone, even the president, is in control of today’s government may be an illusion.

President Obama was apparently “stunned” to see the fox roaming freely down the oft-photographed White House colonnade, home to the world’s shortest, but most dramatic, outdoor strolls. Washington Post columnist Ruth Marcus kicked off the attack last week when she blasted as “demagoguery” the administration´s tactics during the pay gap debate. “The level of hyperbole -- actually, of demagoguery -- that Democrats have engaged in here is revolting,” she wrote. CBS White House Correspondent Major Garrett then weighed in this week in his National Journal
