Operation Cockamamie:
The Damascus Follies

Looking over the week´s crazy developments, I can see only one coherent strand in Obama´s foreign policy. He wants to make sure that John Kerry and Hillary Clinton will never be elected president. After sacrificing Hillary´s career on the blood-streaked walls of Benghazi he had Kerry appear before the Congress and take positions utterly at odds with those he´s taken all his life, supplied him with information disputed by other members of the administration, and had him make indefensible statements without any evidentiary support at all. By way of example, Kerry asserted that the chemical weapons case against Syria was

Go ahead and make fun of Obama. If we would be honest with ourselves, he is quite creative. When I think he can´t possibly do anything worse, he finds ways to prove me profoundly wrong. I wonder what stunning performances await us over the next three years.

It is indeed ´party over sanity.´ Let us not worry about saving face for this disaster of a president. Not voting isn´t exactly going to do it anyway. The world has his number even if many of our people haven´t.

And, let us be a tad honest, not voting keeps the non voters from having a record of their stance from their constituents.

FTA: "By way of example, Kerry asserted that the chemical weapons case against Syria was "undeniable." At the same time, the administration offered up a contradictory assessment that "U.S. intelligence has concluded ´with some degree of varying confidence´ that the Syrian government has twice used chemical weapons."

This is the consequence of spending a lifetime twisting yourself into knots, lying to people. You forget that words have meaning.

This is the consequence of twisting yourself into knots coming up with phrases like, "man caused disaster" to keep from calling a terrorist attack a terrorist attack.

Clarice is thoroughly articulate on Obama’s latest … the Syria charade (a great way to cover up Benghazi!). The good news: now the whole world can see what an irresponsible puppet idiot we suffer impersonating the presidency. Only a no credentials imposter can be this stupid and dangerous. Articles written by people like Clarice who explain why Obama is in over his head, rings a bell with people like us who normally read and try to digest articles that explain current events. Most people live their lives and try to survive in an increasingly complicated world. We need the Clarice´s of this world.

This might be a reach, but isn´t this similar to Nazi Germany pre WW2. We daily get bombarded by propaganda from controlled leftist news services who invent one catastrophe after another. This is done to stir your emotions against straw men they invent.

The first thing you need to succeed in a campaign of this sort is a target. Hence the organized campaign against the majority in this country based upon race. That alone keeps his base in line along with fellow travelers.

Hitler used the same tactics, constantly blaming the Jews and everyone else who opposed him. Not that the Jews were a majority, they were just very convenient. They still are today in Obamas Muslim world. Hillary, Kerry and the rest of his toy soldiers haven´t the sense to realize how they are being used. The end of each chapter in his bumbling books always favor Muslim rebels or Terrorists. The end justifies the means. So we creep to the edge of war.

On the other hand I could be wrong, but I don´t think so.

The argument to attack Assad to intimidate Iran is null. Obama had Iran between Iraq and Afghanistan after having them handed to him in 2009 and then ignored Iran´s own Persian Spring while handing Iraq back to sectarian violence in Iraq and Afghanistan back to the Talibn, Egypt to the Muslim Brotherhood and Libya Islamic chaos. His doing the same to Syria without consent of the people or international cooperation isn´t going to be interpreted as "whatever it takes." It will destroy Obama though - which is probably better sooner rather than later.

MOKPO/JINDO, South Korea — Divers searching for survivors of a capsized South Korean ferry saw three bodies floating through a window of a passenger cabin on Saturday but were unable to retrieve them, the coastguard said, hours after the ship´s captain was arrested. The ferry, carrying 476 passengers, many of them schoolchildren, and crew, capsized on Wednesday on a journey from the port of Incheon to the southern holiday island of Jeju. Some 174 people have been rescued and hopes were fading for those still missing. The divers saw the bodies in a submerged cabin where many of the children

First, the good news: We are close enough to the end of the Obama presidency for his crowd to talk about a presidential library. Now, the bad news: Obama´s retirement is still 1,008 days distant. Plenty of time though to round up the dough to build it somewhere. Figure they need Solyndra-style money, at least $500 million. The last two presidents – Bill Clinton and George W. Bush -- built their legacy edifices totally with private money. [Snip] However, Obama supporters have a different take. They think taxpayers should put up $100 million in public money for Obama´s library.

Less than 16 hours after Chelsea Clinton announced she was pregnant, a lot of major news outlets started staring into the crystal ball of Chelsea’s womb, wondering what this currently floating zygotic multicellular being meant for the prospects of Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign, which is also a floating, zygotic, multicellular being. Their answer: The immaculately conceived Clinton child could mean everything. And no, it’s not just the fact that having a grandchild could be personally fulfilling to Hillary and Bill (mazel tov, by the way), or that a cute baby would be a sweet cherry on top of Hillary’s already

The first step is admitting… It was a simple question to someone accustomed to much tougher ones: What was her proudest achievement as secretary of state? But for a moment, Hillary Rodham Clinton, appearing recently before a friendly audience at a women’s forum in Manhattan, seemed flustered.(Snip)So…no definitive successes and some clear-cut failures. And that’s the generous New York Times assessment. The Democrat fantasy story about Mrs. Clinton paints her as strong and accomplished on her own. In reality, this is a woman who is professionally defined almost entirely by two men in her life, both of whom happen to have

GOP presidential hopefuls are largely steering clear of Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy’s fight with the federal government. The showdown, which left armed militia members and feds staring each other down last week, has captivated talk radio and cable news shows, turning Bundy into a conservative cause célèbre. Yet Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and Mike Huckabee, a former Arkansas governor and 2008 presidential candidate, are the only big-name Republicans to have spoken out on the dispute so far. Tea Party favorite Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) has been silent, and Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) and Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) have also not
