Putin presses US Congress
over Syria, says Kerry lied

MOSCOW--Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday the U.S. Congress had no right to approve the use of force against Syria without a decision from the U.N. Security Council, and that doing so would be an "act of aggression".(Snip)"They lie beautifully, of course. I saw debates in Congress. A congressman asks Mr Kerry: ´Is al Qaeda there?´ He says: ´No, I am telling you responsibly that it is not´," Putin said at a meeting of his human rights council in the Kremlin. "Al Qaeda units are the main military echelon, and they know this," he said, referring to the United States.

A blatant example of the contempt with which Obama, and thereby America, is held by America´s antagonists.

Over four years of Obama, over four years of America´s shame. More than three years to go.

The Syria debacle has spun so far out of control that I wish Putin was POTUS instead of Obama.
Putin seems to be trying to snuff the real possibility of a worldwide conflagration ,

It´s a sad state of affairs when you don´t trust your own government to tell the truth and would take the word of a former/current/possible adversary.

The whole damn lot of them should be tared/feathered/and keel-hauled.

Just to change pace here a bit, I´ll listen to Putin´s point of view as soon as he can show me where the UN have advanced approval of Russia´s advance into Afghanistan in 1980, or in Hungary in 1956. Countries do what is in their interests to do, regardless of what the UN thinks. My biggest problem with Obama is I have no confidence he acts in the interests of the United States; he acts in his own best interests.

Putin is hardly a stand up guy that we should all now be patting on the back for humiliating a US President regardless of how much we despise him. Obama is not America - we are - and Putin insults us all. Obama started this with his apology tour and vows to stand with the Muslims, went on to deliver Libya and Egypt to radical Islam, and is now pushing for a pointless attack on Syria to cover for his seriously ignorant verbal misstep. A lot of lives are at stake right now and Congress needs to stop treating this like a political gameshow.

I believe this is the time for Congress to do its duty and prevent this lawless administration from throwing more American lives to the Muslim hordes. If chemical weapons are the issue, then by law it is a international problem, not just ours. We have lost enough men, women, assets and treasure to seventh century barbarians hell bent on chaos. Nothing will appease them. They do not want peace. Their only goal is to restore the caliphate. Unless there is a mass conversion to Christianity, they will never stop their war against the west.

I don´t doubt what Russia says anymore. They are telling the truth. Obama is the "won" who has continually deceived the American people. Do you remember the Clinton Admin promising to be the "most ethical administration in history?" I do. And Obama claimed his would be the most "transparent" in history. The truth is that whatever a Democrat says, the truth is the opposite.

His "It´s All About Me" attitude needs to end, and in the remaining three years of this god-awful POTUS´ term, force him to make things "All about America - the America of our Founding Fathers" - not about O´s desired America.

There are similarities with Putin´s statement and the letter of Pope Francis to Putin in another thread. Pope Francis knows there is no point in sending a letter to Obama. There is nothing anybody could say that is not likely to make matters worse! It looks as if it is up to Putin to be the adult in this case and not blow up the middle east to save face for Obama. I believe Putin over Obama! Perhaps we should all play along with Obamas lie about not making the Red Line statement at least until somebody in Congress grows up and stops licking his boots. Pretend to save his face and help him avoid tarnishing his peace prize by starting WW III !

Those of us who can remember back to when Kerry was a "winter soldier" also should remember his exaggerations and outright lies during his congressional testimony concerning US military operations during the Vietnam era.

Putin with his considerable experience as an intelligence officer has had Kerry figured out for a long time, you can bet on that.

There is absolutely no doubt that Putin is a Russian nationalist who is always going to take the Russian national interest into consideration first and foremost.

Unfortunately with Obama´s infatuation with the international world of Islam, and Kerry´s past record of lying about the US military during the Vietnam era, you can never be sure about them

Our lap dog, main extreme press is CRITIC STARVED. Steve Pelley, Brian Williams and the lovely Diane Sawyer are paid by the large corporate sponsors that lobbyist-bribe
all of Congress not to criticize any of the legal or illegal crimes being committed in Washington. They should all be digging for the truth of the horrifying gassing deaths.
They are such slaves to lies, that now a foreign dictator can take the stage and offer information to our own truth starved press and stupifyingly dumb TV news actors,
offer details, our indoctrinators won´t touch: some evidence of truth. The irony that Putin´s Marxist words can have more truth to offer than our own Marxist TV and press brainwashers, is the ultimate clue to our supposed leadership´s deluded failures.

Pope Francis sends a letter to President Putin to ask him to try to broker a peace deal for Syria; sounds like the Pope believes Putin is in the right.

Anyway, I was happy that Francis has asked the whole world to Fast and Pray for Syria and the Mid-East this Saturday, September 7.

Would be great if every church, synagogue, mosque, monastery (for the buddists), temples, would be open for people to go into and pray for Syria on Saturday. Worked for Ninevah with Jonah!

NEW YORK - Last week´s Heartbleed Internet bug revealed a startling fact. The software protecting banks, email, social media and government is maintained by only a few people. They´re all volunteers. The White House is going to war with another fox — and this time, it’s personal. President Obama was apparently “stunned” to see the fox roaming freely down the oft-photographed White House colonnade, home to the world’s shortest, but most dramatic, outdoor strolls. GREENSBORO, Ga. — Golf holes the size of pizzas. Soccer balls on the back nine. A mulligan on every hole. These are some of the measures — some would say gimmicks — that golf courses across the country have experimented with to stop people from quitting the game. Golf has always reveled in its standards and rich tradition. But increasingly a victim of its own image and hidebound ways, golf has lost five million players in the last decade, according to the National Golf Foundation, with 20 percent of the existing 25 million golfers apt to quit in the next few years. People under 35 have especially spurned the game, saying it takes too

Hi, everybody. For millions of Americans, this time of year holds great meaning. Earlier this week, we hosted a Passover Seder at the White House, and joined Jewish families around the world in their re-tellings of the story of the Exodus and the victory of faith over oppression. And this Sunday, Michelle, Malia, Sasha, and I will join our fellow Christians around the world in celebrating the Resurrection of Christ, the salvation he offered the world, and the hope that comes with the Easter season. These holy days have their roots in miracles that took place long ago. And yet, they still inspire us, guide us, and strengthen us today. They remind us of our

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said Thursday that a family of dissident ranchers and their supporters in his home state of Nevada are ´domestic terrorists,´ citing this week´s standoff with the federal government´s Bureau of Land Management. Cliven Bundy has refused to pay grazing fees for land where his hundreds of cattle roam every day. The land is owned by the federal government, which says he owes more than $1 million. Bundy, however, insists that since his family has been using the land since the 1870s, Uncle Sam can´t collect the grazing fees. A tense standoff developed this week after

To "honor the dignity and work of immigrants," Democratic House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi helps Bishop Marc Andrus wash the feet of two children Thursday at Saint John the Evangelist Episcopal Church in San Francisco. Pelosi also used the occasion to talk about passing HR15 - bipartisan immigration legislation that her office says would "reduce the deficit by nearly $1 trillion, secure our borders, unite our families, protect our workers and provide an earned pathway to citizenship." The Democratic leader´s ceremony coincides with Pope Francis´ similar ceremony in Rome to mark Holy Week.

WASHINGTON--Rushing to an afternoon vote last month, Sen. Ted Cruz hopped the underground tram to the U.S. Capitol from his office across the street. The Texan planted his black ostrich cowboy boots in the middle of the small subway car without getting so much as a nod from the other senators--Republican or Democrat--amiably chatting or huddled in their seats. Mr. Cruz finds himself standing alone a lot these days. His response to the cold shoulders: "The establishment despised Ronald Reagan" before he became president, "but the people loved him." For the 43-year-old Republican, the Reagan name illuminates his political life´s

Imagine a vendor on the National Mall, selling burgers and dogs, who hasn’t paid his rent in 20 years. He refuses to recognize his landlord, the National Park Service, as a legitimate authority. Every court has ruled against him, and fines have piled up. What’s more, the effluents from his food cart are having a detrimental effect on the spring grass in the capital. Would an armed posse come to his defense, aiming their guns at the park police? Would the lawbreaker get prime airtime on Fox News, breathless updates in the Drudge Report, a sympathetic ear from Tea Party Republicans?

Conservative columnist Ann Coulter — who used her talk show platform in the last presidential election cycle to campaign hard for former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney — has taken up the mantra once again, calling on Republicans to give the failed White House bidder another shot in 2016. She made the suggestion during a discussion on Sean Hannity’s radio show while speaking of her new book, “Never Trust a Liberal Over 3-Especially a Republican.” Ms. Coulter also addressed the question of Mr. Romney’s shortcomings by saying that his 2012 loss wasn’t entirely his fault. “I think too much blame, not only in this

Prominent Washington correspondents are accusing President Obama and his aides of knowingly stretching the truth on issues like the so-called women´s pay gap just to create controversy and keep issues -- and the president -- relevant. Washington Post columnist Ruth Marcus kicked off the attack last week when she blasted as “demagoguery” the administration´s tactics during the pay gap debate. “The level of hyperbole -- actually, of demagoguery -- that Democrats have engaged in here is revolting,” she wrote. CBS White House Correspondent Major Garrett then weighed in this week in his National Journal
