Bill Clinton pretending to be a
vegan so he can talk
about being a vegan

Daily Caller, by Charles C. Johnson

Original Article

President Bill Clinton has been telling everyone he is a vegan since 2009, but it turns out Clinton’s a liar. The former president, who has been enlisted to sell the nation on Obamacare, told reporters that he was joining his daughter, Chelsea, in an all vegan diet after he had had heart trouble. He was even named PETA’s person of the year in 2010. But in a recent interview with AARP, Clinton said he ate salmon and omelets once a week. “Once a week or so, [Clinton] will have a helping of organic salmon or an omelet made with omega-3-fortified eggs,

I love that "once a week or so".

Almost as good as the meaning of "is".

If Bubba told me today was Wednesday I´d still check it.

My guess is that the problem is more simple and he just doesn´t understand the distinction between "vegan" and "vegitarian".

A vegitarian diet that includes milk, cheese, and eggs (some vegitarians also eat fish) can be a healthy and sustainable diet. A vegan diet that not only excludes meat but any animal-based foods including milk, eggs, and even honey (those poor enslaved bees forced to make it), on the other hand, can actually harm the health of adults and particularly children, and is pretty foolish.

as someone in the comments section after the article (video) said, "i´m a vegetarian right up until i get to the steak." clinton is that kind of vegetarian/vegan. the comments after the article were by and large hilarious - interspersed with humorless sanctimonious comments by professed vegans/liberals. even their comments were good because they prompted great come-backs by conservatives, historians and carnivores.

It´s not just those teeth, #8. All mammals which are carnivores or omnivores (predators) have eyes which are located on the front of the head to assist in hunting. Think wolves, cats, dogs. All vegetarian mammals (prey) have eyes located on the sides of the head so that they can keep a lookout for the predators while grazing. Horses, for instance, have almost 360 degrees of visual range. This applies to some birds as well, such as owls and other raptors.

I love it when sanctimonious vegetarians or vegans start spouting off because I can then say, "Wow, you don´t look like a vegetarian!" Then I tell them what I just wrote above. They are so into "natural foods" but it´s completely unnatural for humans to be vegetarians. It blows all the wind right out of their sails and leaves them speechless.

The Citizens Commission on Benghazi, a self-selected group of former top military officers, CIA insiders and think-tankers, declared Tuesday in Washington that a seven-month review of the deadly 2012 terrorist attack has determined that it could have been prevented – if the U.S. hadn´t been helping to arm al-Qaeda militias throughout Libya a year earlier. ´The United States switched sides in the war on terror with what we did in Libya, knowingly facilitating the provision of weapons to known al-Qaeda militias and figures,´ Clare Lopez, a member of the commission and a former CIA officer, told MailOnline. Global sea levels have risen by 8 inches (20cm) since 1880 and scientists predict they could rise up to 3ft (98cm) by 2100. But despite the UN’s recent threats of war, famine and extreme weather, such a dramatically different world caused by sea level rise can be hard to imagine. To help picture the future, Martin Vargic, an amateur graphic designer from Slovakia, has created a map depicting the planet with sea levels around 260ft (79m) higher than they are today. He imagines what Earth would look like if the ice sheets surrounding the North and South poles melted, releasing

Thirty-eight Republican lawmakers, including such unlikely bedfellows as John McCain of Arizona and Ted Cruz of Texas, have joined to support a lawsuit challenging the legality of the Affordable Care Act and accusing the president of repeatedly ignoring the law he signed for political reasons. The lawmakers have signed onto a legal brief in support of a lawsuit filed by Sen. Ron Johnson, the Wisconsin Republican who is asking a federal court to overturn Obamacare’s special treatment for members of Congress and their staffs. “The unlawful executive action at issue in this case is not an isolated incident,” the brief

Perhaps the most remarkable feature of American democracy is the magnificent estate of public land that it reserved from the very beginning for the use of all citizens, rich or poor. There is nothing like it in the democracies of Europe, which came into being with nations already carved up into private fiefdoms. The Great Idea that hundreds of millions of acres of forests, deserts, rivers and prairies should be owned by, and managed for, the public interest has had a profound and lasting influence on American culture. But not everyone has accepted it. Cliven Bundy’s armed standoff with the National Park
