Surrender
PJ Media, by Richard Fernandez

Original Article

Posted By:Hazymac, 9/1/2013 2:19:49 AM

Obama has surrendered. (Snip) The old omnipotent President Obama, able to make the seas fall, the child of the world uniquely equipped to build bridges everywhere, answerable only to himself, is gone. As America’s leader the old Obama handed Syria, Russia and Iran and huge victory. Gave it to them on a platter with his vaunting, invincible stupidity. In the process, not only has he shot America in the foot on the world stage but he will have emboldened the Ayatollahs to forge ahead with their nuclear ambitions. (Snip) He has also destroyed himself.

Comments:
This pathetic character, this affirmative action hire, wont to sit scratching the side of his face ostentatiously with his middle finger, is now getting the finger back from all of America´s enemies and even her allies, who have learned better than to have anything further to do with this tiny, weak man: a mere voice on a stick. I would suggest that anyone who played a part in bringing him to power by voting for him owes the penance of sitting out the next few elections for the good of the nation and of the world. As the mullahs move

(continued) steadily toward the Bomb, Jimmy Carter´s feckless, foolish statecraft reverberates down through the decades. How long will it take for America to live down Obama? Or will his governance prove fatal to the nation?

Can the demon-faced abomination of affirmative action hire in the White House please take Senators Graham, McCain, and Kerry down with him? Those traitorous poseurs need to feel the full brunt of which side they ultimately chose to support. Tar and feathering should be brought back for these traitors, although its still too good for the slap back they deserve.

I really hope America can recover from the terrors of this administration. We must start freeing up our own energy resources to re start our industrial engine. I believe much of these ME shenanigans are due to a devilish alliance with Saudi Arabia to maintain their source of money and power as their oil reserves deplete, and to gain access to the Caspian sea oil potential.

Can America recover? It can recover from Obama.

It cannot, however, recover from the people who reelected him - and that is the real tragedy.

The world stage is not comprised of LoFo voters or sycophantic media. In this light Obama is revealed for the poser he is. The American public looked at the color of his skin and the content of his character and... voted (twice) for the color of his skin. Now we must find a way to survive three more years with a man ill-equipped to run even a lemonade stand. One can only pray this Syria fiasco compels Americans to see, think, and act clearly. Only then can we hope to recover from the domestic and international damage wrought by the Flim Flam man.

No, #5, Saudi Arabia is afraid of Iran and its ally, Syria, and wants American help in the region. They have called on all Arabs to support the Egyptian military and offered to give Egypt money if we cut Egypt off. They would be on our side if we had George W. Bush and so would the Brits.

He will not fail. The media will not allow him to. No matter what Obama does the media will hail it as groundbreaking and breath-takingly bold. I do not blame America´s first affirmative action president, or not even the incredibly naïve lofo voters. The blame for this idiocy lies squarely in the media lap, or lapdogs if you prefer.

WE didn´t vote for anybody. 69 million Democrats voted for this guy in 2008, and 66 million Democrats voted for this guy in 2012.

There are about 240 million American adults eligible to vote.

Remember those polls that keep coming up with the pitiful 35% who always support Democrat stuff? That´s them. They register. They vote. They put idiots into office.

The solution is to round up every last Republican voter possible, get them registered and get them to the polls!

Take over the gub´mnt and SEND THE DEMOCRATS A BILL FOR THEIR NONSENSE even if that will involve seizing all their property, selling the healthy ones abroad (there are ways), and dispatching their children to church operated creche operations where they may be raised up to be God Fearing even if otherwise unbelieving.

Then we get tough!

Obama should have already been impeached for his unilateral attacks on Libya that helped to overthrow Khadafi. No one from Congress gave approval for the attacks on Libya. Look at the mess he left in Libya. Libya is not much more than a new Somalia, ruled by roving gangs of militias. One of the roving gangs put a torch to our CIA outpost in Benghazi and killed an American "ambassador" (CIA gunrunner) and several American heroes while Obama took his beauty sleep and gave the order to "stand down". He didn´t want to be bothered with saving American lives. He had a campaign fundraiser to attend the next morning. You don´t get much more despicable than that.

I beg your pardon. Was that my President in the Rose Garden? His teleprompter-scripted remarks overflowing with contrived, contorted, somber compassion for the victims of atrocities in Syria? And those annoying protesters, loudly, angrily chanting and shouting, being easily heard in the background? But, not to worry! He knew what the rest of his day held for him. It was a metaphor for his entire term in office: Get all those pesky duties and chores out of the way and then scamper off to a well-deserved 18-hole recreation break. You can’t make this stuff up.

When you hire someone with absolutely no experience, none, and put him in a position of high responsibility, you should not be surprised that things don´t turn out very well. It´s a combination of inertness, inexperience, duplicity and a very weak surrounding team. I pray every day that we can get through this without the country being weakened beyond repair.

BO is a creature of the media and H´weird and they have a big part in his sorry history in office.

Right now the writers of Roadrunner cartoons must be stage managing the show, as they clearly have Dear Reader doing the Wile E Coyote "if you don´t look down you don´t fall down" over the cliff edge thing, while the media, as ever, portrays him as the Acme of success.

As this sad cartoon unfolds, let us pray that a Putin-looking creature does not get to do anything with "thwap" in it.

I am instead, hopeful that this gaudy display of Øbama´s incompetence and stupidity will show my fellow Americans what Øbama is and wake them up. "If Obama can reinvent himself as the President of the United States of America; if he can throw out all the hacks in his office who have led him to this sorry pass; if he can learn from his mistakes and start to think strategically"

This is a joke, right? Many times in his presidency BO has run into walls, his shellacking in 2010 for example. Everyone wondered if he would do a Clinton pivot to the middle. Obama doubled down on his Statist ideology and got away with it because of the determined actions of the media to keep him in office and the gullibility and foolishness of the electorate.

BO cannot deviate from his ideological lockstep. He doesn´t know how. He has no leadership abilities, only ideological certainty. Without it, he is nothing. He really has no choice.

And the world stage is too large for a fawning US media to manage. Foreign governments and media are NOT in love with BO or the US. Weakness, which BO copiously exudes, is to be taken advantage of.

We will be recovering from BO´s foreign policy disasters for a long, long time. This shouldn´t be a surprise since we are doing the same thing economically.

He´s just a step away from using the historic desk in the Oval Office as a toilet.
We´ve lost about 1800 US Soldiers and Marines in Afghanistan and Iraq since Barry or Jarrett or Reggie became CINC.
Versus 1400 killed in Syria.
He beats feet away from those who kill Americans and hops to when it comes to protecting
Muslims.
Many of the Syrians Barry wants to protect are allied with those killing our soldiers-
which is still ongoing in Afghanistan BTW ...and ignored by Barry and his media protectors.

Mr. Fernandez, you have more compassion than I do. No, it was not painful to watch - especially not after the destruction to our country that he and his regime (advisor Valerie Jarret) have wreaked on America.

Sorry, I wake up every morning wondering what new outrage this fraud will inflict on us today. I do think Mr. Fernandez is correct, though, that Hillary´s silence is telling. If the worst happens - Hillary is elected president in 2016 - at least we know exactly where she was born and that she was/is an American citizen by birth and education. In her early life she had close conservative and Republican ties. Sometimes as people age, they return to earlier values when they felt the happiest and most secure.

It´s made from the timbers of the British Arctic Exploration ship Resolute.

Taunting a 90-lb weakling who has a machine gun at his disposal might goad him into action.

That said, Palin had star power to equal the young senator from Illinois and was more experienced, the Tea Party has the power of being right, patriotic and now willing to march. You can know the threat of this power to move the masses because the dems and their pop media have laid and played Alinsky ridicule to take them out.

Cure is to not play into their hands and learn the art of war fast and furious. Forget going for the whole plan at once--moderate and cooperate and go for the getabale. One person can´t do it alone. It has taken the dems since the McCarthy era to get it all in a row.

Getting the pop media imbalance of power neutralized and the patriotic could get the ear of the lazy lo-fos who only want to live little lives in peace and plenty on the straight and narrow path back to the top in less years than it took the social democrats redistribtors or is that distructionists?

Michael Schumacher is said to be “showing small signs of progress” in his recovery from a serious brain trauma as the seven-time Formula 1 world champion continues to be treated for injuries sustained in a skiing accident last December. The 45-year-old’s manager Sabine Kehm confirmed earlier this month that Schumacher was showing signs of consciousness and being awake, and she has now elaborated on her latest revelation that gives hope of the F1 great making a recovery. “There are short moments of consciousness and he is showing small signs of progress,” Kehm told German broadcaster ARD.

The danger in the Ukraine crisis was always that the Ukrainians — or some faction therein — would fight the Russians, escalating the crisis. Resistance from Obama was not in the cards. CNN quoted David Frum as saying that Obama had in effect gave Putin the “green light” to carve up Ukraine. Obama’s admirers think so too, though they put it differently. Ronan Farrow has advised the president to do nothing as Russia advances. “So, President Obama waiting and exercising caution isn’t necessarily sitting on his hands. It may be the caution that we need right now.” Farrow’s right. Obama’s

It would use the Constitution’s Article V to move the nation back toward the limited government the Constitution’s Framers thought their document guaranteed.” “Members of this nascent movement to use Article V have a name: Fivers.” Then there’s Rand Paul’s Four-men. Just as the legal profession has its Latinisms and the sports world its slang, the art world has its own language and jargon that can often leave outsiders scratching their heads. This insider vocabulary includes terms that may seem a bit comical ("houseable," meaning the artwork fits in a normal-size living room) or contradictory (objects in a museum may be on "permanent loan," which is a loan no one has any intention of paying back, or donated as a "fractional gift," meaning the owner may keep possession of the piece while donating it in installments over time). Some auction houses

Last week’s Supreme Court decision in McCutcheon v. FEC struck down federal limits on the total amount individuals can contribute to combinations of federal candidates and parties during a two-year election cycle. Predictably, it unleashed a wrath of criticism from labor unions. But a comparison of their rhetoric to reality shows a little introspection is warranted before they call the kettle black. In the hours after McCutcheon was announced, AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka stated, “The Supreme Court made one of the most undemocratic and corrosive decisions in history with the Citizen’s United (sic) ruling. Today, it has dangerously broadened its

The right to destroy innocent unborn children, a moral and cultural poison injected into the American body politic in 1973 by the Supreme Court’s Roe v. Wade decision, has led to evils like Kermit Gosnell, the monstrous “doctor” who bizarrely displayed the arms and legs of aborted babies in jars in his office. Recent news out of Britain stated that in more than two dozen government-run hospitals, aborted babies and miscarried fetal remains were burned in furnaces as medical waste without the knowledge of parents. The Telegraph reports that mothers were instead told that the remains had been cremated. At

Tampa Bay Lightning forward Ryan Malone was arrested early Saturday morning and faces charges of possession of cocaine and driving under the influence, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office. Malone, 34, was arrested at 3:23 a.m. at Platt Street and Rome Avenue in Tampa, the HCSO arrest report said. A Tampa police officer stopped Malone after seeing his 2014 Chevrolet Suburban make a left turn from a center lane of South Armenia Avenue onto Platt Street and then strike the curb at South Howard Avenue, police said. When Malone exited the vehicle, the officer smelled alcohol on his breath,

There was only one thing on earth that gave her pause. Hillary. (Snip) Silence is golden. Especially in the rarified air of polite society. Polite society — now there’s a phrase. Recently the British press has been rocked by a series of revelations that beloved Leftist leaders were actually pedophiles whose crimes were covered up, time and again by instructions from on high. The secret lives of the famous was shrouded in decorous silence:

A Lake Wales hunter says he was attacked by a Florida panther while he was calling turkeys near Lake Kissimmee in Central Florida. If true, it would be the first recorded panther attack on a human since the 1800s. Unfortunately, say state biologists, the hunter waited three weeks to report it. That means they cannot verify that it occurred. His wounds are nearly healed, and rain that has fallen since the attack has obscured any paw prints the animal may have left behind. Still, Byron Maharrey is sure about what pounced on him from behind and left him scratched and

AUGUSTA, Ga. — Bill Haas shot a 4-under 68 to lead the Masters on Thursday, the first time he´s headed a major at the end of a round. The son of longtime PGA Tour player Jay Haas broke 70 for the first time in five Augusta National appearances. The 31-year-old American started the tournament with a bogey, but bounced back to knock in six birdies on a warm, sunny day when only three other players got into the 60s. The last two Masters winners, defending champion Adam Scott of Australia and 2012 winner Bubba Watson of the U.S., were both

Neurosurgeon Ben Carson says the White House wanted him to apologize for “offending” President Obama after he famously delivered a conservative message at the National Prayer Breakfast last year. Carson, the former director of pediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital, recalls the events surrounding his 2013 speech in his new book, One Nation: What We Can All Do To Save America’s Future. The Daily Caller obtained an advance copy of the book, which is set for release May 20. “He did not appear to be hostile or angry,” Carson writes of Obama, “but within a matter of minutes after the conclusion of

Megyn Kelly’s "Kelly File" is a great news show. She’s incisive, informed and customarily handles the toughest guest with aplomb. But her lengthy interview of Facebook C.O.O. Sheryl Sandberg about her second book in the Lean In series Lean In: For Graduates was a head shaker. Amazing that she of all people allowed Sandberg to restring the same old, same old, shamed, and shopworn feminist myths about women and girls and then jangle it in front of her viewing audience like something new out of the box. Indeed Kelly all but genuflected in front of this woman. Kept her on thru

On Saturday, I wrote about the standoff at Bundy Ranch. That post drew a remarkable amount of traffic, even though, as I wrote then, I had not quite decided what to make of the story. Since then, I have continued to study the facts and have drawn some conclusions. Here they are. First, it must be admitted that legally, Bundy doesn’t have a leg to stand on. The Bureau of Land Management has been charging him grazing fees since the early 1990s, which he has refused to pay. Further, BLM has issued orders limiting the area on which Bundy’s cows can

Less than a minute into his speech at the Boston marathon bombing memorial on Tuesday, Vice President Joe Biden went tragically off script and told the crowd of Boston bombing survivors that "it was worth it." I mean this sincerely - just to hear each of you speak. You´re truly, truly inspiring." The audience sat in stunned silence until Biden declared, "I´ve never heard anything so beautiful than

Look, everyone loves Sean Connery, particularly Sean Connery. That’s why he plays Sean Connery in every movie he’s in. People love that Scottish brogue so much, they don’t mind that he has it when he plays Juan Sánchez Villa-Lobos Ramírez, an immortal Spaniard in Highlander. The guy even won an Oscar for playing an Irish cop with a Scottish accent. Talk about sexist double standards: Meryl Streep has to master foreign dialects to get her golden statuettes. Connery just has to show up on time. In economics you devalue a currency by printing too much of it. In film you

Casual marijuana use may come with some not-so-casual side effects. For the first time ever, researchers at Northwestern University have analyzed the relationship between casual use of marijuana and brain changes – and found that young adults who used cannabis just once or twice a week showed significant abnormalities in two important brain structures. The study’s findings, to be published Wednesday in the Journal of Neuroscience, are similar to those of past research linking chronic, long-term marijuana use with mental illness and changes in brain development. Dr. Hans Breiter, co-senior study author, said he was inspired to look at the effects of casual

Toddlers show racial bias when picking playmates, a study reveals. They also take account of how fairly others behave. Researchers tested the reaction of white 15-month-olds as toys were distributed. Two white adults divided the toys, one equally and the other unequally. Seventy per cent of the toddlers chose to play with the researcher who distributed the toys fairly. But in a second test, when one researcher favoured a white recipient over an Asian one, they picked the ‘fair’ researcher less often, the journal Frontiers in Psychology reports. And the babies are more likely to help those who share the same ethnicity, which is known as

Western Washington University sent a questionnaire to students asking them for advice on how the administration could succeed at making sure that in future years, “we are not as white as we are today.” The question notes that WWU’s racial make up does not perfectly reflect the nation at large, and asks students to consider strategies that other universities have used to focus on skin color as the paramount indicator of a student-applicant’s worth. The president of WWU has stated that his explicit goal is to reduce the white population on campus, according to Campus Reform. “I’ve said before and I’ll say it

Funny question in the headline, yes? But since President Obama worries more about the threat of terrorists´ improvised nuclear device going off in a major American city than anything Russia can throw at us, I was wondering if the government had deigned to share with us citizens any tips for, you know, surviving something their own intelligence points to as the likeliest unlikely Black Swan event. Well, no. And yes. No — very few people in Washington, D.C., who work for the government have any idea what they would do if a 10-kiloton nuclear device exploded at the intersection of 16th and K

How do you ensure that you won’t be ostracized, denounced, or fired if you are a media celebrity, captain of industry, or high public official? For some, sexist banter is certainly no problem. Stand-up comedian Bill Maher called Sarah Palin a c–t and a tw-t, but suffered no ill consequences. David Letterman joked on air that Sarah Palin’s 14-year-old daughter had had sex with Alex Rodriguez during a New York Yankees game. There was no downside to that either. President Obama tosses around “sweetie” as he wishes. No problem with that. No one believes Barack could be condescending to women.
