President´s policies
are hurting Hispanics

The Hill (Washington D.C.), by Daniel Garza

Original Article

It was only a few years ago that millions of Hispanics cheered for Barack Obama as he took the oath of office. Many welcomed a new president who promised to restore economic growth, telling them, “I will be your champion when I am in the White House.” Looking back, those promises turned out to be nothing but rhetoric. Instead of a champion, millions of Hispanics would rather have a job. Hispanic unemployment is getting worse – spiking up to 9.4 percent - and more are descending deeper into poverty every day. Hopelessness is spreading and people are giving up – as

The liberal Democrat amnesty and expansion of immigration bill will seriously hurt both US citizen Hispanics and resident alien Hispanics if it ever passes.

The bill, through a massive legalization program and a huge increase in immigration, would grant an estimated 46 million foreign workers and their foreign family members access to the legal US job market in the next ten years. Such a huge in-sourcing of cheap foreign labor into the legal US job market is bound to seriously adversely effect the future job prospects, wages, work related benefits, and the working conditions of legal Hispanic workers here now, both citizens and aliens, who would have to compete in the future against all that cheap foreign labor for just about every scarce job out there across the entire US economy.

If Republicans have any political smarts at all they will ensure that they are seen as being on the side of American workers, as once American workers of all stripes start being disadvantaged in the workplace by all that cheap foreign labor, the political blow back is going very heavy and it will be the American workers here now who have US voting rights who will decide the winners of US elections in the near future.

On a rebroadcast of Laura Ingraham´s radio program, she mentioned [and criticized] the old Leftist fairy tale that "they´re only here trying to help their families, to find a better life."

Baloney.

Setting aside for the moment the fact that they are here illegally, and therefore are breaking other laws, the following would prove whether the Left´s [absurd] claim is true: deny all social benefits to illegals. Let´s see just how many "American Dream" types are among them. How many will come here then?

The President´s policies are hurting EVERYONE. His incompetence knows no cultural or ethnic bounds. He´s an "all people" destroyer. I really am not that concerned with Barack Obama, as his time will end and the damage to the country HE caused can be repaired over time. It is the mentality of so many Americas that they blindly drank the koolaid TWICE. Those low information voters will be with us for generations. Now that is truly something to cause alarm.

CAMBRIDGE – Cambridge police say the man wanted for sucker punching at least three people over the weekend is not part of a disturbing national trend known as the ‘knockout game.’ The series of unprovoked attacks happened in broad daylight Saturday afternoon between Massachusetts Avenue and Trowbridge Street. In this first incident, according to a Cambridge police report, a man told officers he was walking towards Central Square when the suspect walked “directly towards him.” “He stepped to his left and the suspect mirrored that move. He stepped to his right and the suspect moved into his path once again.

The Blair Papers which the media initially covered up and then diverted attention from, were quite revealing when it came to Hillary’s attitude toward not only her husband’s sexual misconduct, but even those of Republicans like Bob Packwood. Barack Obama was once a constitutional law professor, but now views the founding document as irrelevant. The president is ruling by decree, instead of working with a divided Congress. The Founding Fathers would be appalled by the way the current occupant of the White House has usurped power to get his agenda passed. There is nothing to restrain Mr. Obama, now a lame duck, from forcing his liberalism on America. For example, the White House declared Wednesday that it will not go through Congress to create regional “climate hubs” to deal with the supposed crisis of “climate change.” This comes

Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, may be the brightest light to adorn the Republican Party in many years. He knows how to make the case for conservative ideas, pointing, for example, to the contrasting fates of Detroit and Houston to illustrate the superiority of conservative policies. So it´s particularly galling to see that rather than train his fire at President Barack Obama and the liberal machine that cocoons him, Cruz has become a one-man wrecking ball against Republicans. His most recent foray into sabotaging his colleagues concerned the debt limit increase. Because Speaker John Boehner sent over a "clean" debt limit bill,

How much more are black people in this country supposed to take? On Saturday, a Florida jury failed to convict Michael Dunn for the callous murder of Jordan Davis. Though he was convicted of three counts of attempted murder and also on a gun charge, a mistrial was declared for the first-degree murder charge. He will face substantial jail time – perhaps up to 75 years on the four charges for which he was found guilty. The former senator’s strong second-place showing in 2012 shocked—even scared—the GOP’s kingmakers, who saw in him an abortion-hating firebrand with no chance of beating Barack Obama. So it’s no surprise that today, the party’s mainstreamers are acting like he’s old news, again dismissing a Santorum presidential candidacy. Not that he cares. He’s too busy plotting another possible run at the White House. In recent months, Santorum has gathered his inner circle of longtime advisers to sketch out a presidential campaign.
