AP Exclusive: Obama offers
new gun control steps

Associated Press, by Josh Lederman

WASHINGTON — Striving to take action where Congress would not, the Obama administration announced new steps Thursday on gun control, curbing the import of military surplus weapons and proposing to close a little-known loophole that lets felons and others circumvent background checks by registering guns to corporations. Four months after a gun control drive collapsed spectacularly in the Senate, President Barack Obama added two more executive actions to a list of 23 steps the White House determined Obama could take on his own to reduce gun violence. With the political world focused on Mideast tensions and looming fiscal battles, the move

Comments:
Using his Mid East debacles as cover, King Barry employs executive fiat to make laws concerning firearm ownership - neither of which addresses the rampant street crime in our Democrat held urban centers.

If he gets away this one, he will try others, write to your reps and tell them to raise the dickens over this and force him to rescind his stupidity. What he cannot accomplish all at once he will try to dismantle a little at a time.

Liberal thinking and agendas are perpetual motion and immortality in action. The truly sad news is Hussein will be around causing problems long after he leaves office, i.e. Clinton and Carter.

As has been well demonstrated, the mere presence of Obama in the White House has turned a particular segment of the population in certain parts of the country into wild packs of crazed, gun-murdering monsters.

Zero had better get himself up to date. Yesterday a Harvard (NOTICE! That´s HARVARD!) study showed that the countries with the fewest privately-owned guns have the most murders and suicides and the countries with the most privately-owned guns have the fewest. Obviously, this gun-control BS has nothing at all to do with guns and everything to do with control. It´s time for the hoi paloi to get out their whet-stones and sharpen up their pitchforks, scythes, and sickles. To paraphrase T. Jefferson; The tree of liberty must be regularly watered with the blood of tyrants and patriots.

No action on the real issue of gun crime deterrence. How about a proposal to Congress for a law that makes the use of a gun in any crime carry a 50 year minimum mandatory sentence. Oh, sorry that would be racial discrimination. My bad. How about an executive order preventing fat people from possessing silverware. That should have a real impact on obesity.

"The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed." That "shall not be infringed" isn´t qualified with a "by the congress" or a "by the president" or a "by the judiciary." It´s just a straight up "shall not be infringed" meaning by anybody. This president needs to be taken down a peg or two, he thinks he´s God.

The NRA should figure out just how many of those over 50 year old military style firearms that are being brought back into the USA have been involved in violent crimes. Those firearms for the most part are probably being purchased by gun collectors who have no criminal records and who have never engaged in violent crime with the number of such firearms actually used in violent crimes being negligible.

The violent criminal gangs are where most of the violent firearms related shootings come from, and they do not form legal corporations or set-up individual or family trusts to by-pass background checks to any extent.

The Administration should be going after the criminal gangs, but they are not, instead they back really liberal judges who make decisions that favor the criminal gang members like the decision relation to stop and frisk in New York City a couple of weeks ago.

The EO would prohibit the importation and sale of both M1 Garand and M1 Carbine.

You would think someone, somewhere in the MSM would be perhaps the least bit inquisitive and ask a very simple question - how many crimes were committed by criminals using M1 Garands, M1 Carbines, and NFA registerd firearms, never mind over the past year, but past three decades?

BHO and Holder are supplying jihadists in Libya with shoulder-fired surface-to-air missiles, jihadists in Egypt with F-16s and Abrams tanks, jihadists in Syria with AK-47s, RPGs, etc., and Mexican gun cartels with all sorts of weaponry used to murder Mexicans, Americans, Border Patrol agents, etc., but he has declared war on law-abiding citizens and firearms that are almost never involved in any sort of crimes.

It´s apparent who BHO is at war with, he´s at war with this nation, those who love this country and those that abide by its founding values.

KUALA LUMPUR - About 100 Malaysian Muslim activists protested on Friday outside the US embassy against the coming visit by President Barack Obama, denouncing him as an enemy of Islam. The two bombers who killed and maimed innocent people at the Boston marathon a year ago had come as refugees to America, from conflicts that America and her people did nothing to cause. They had been granted the privileges of a law-abiding democracy, including education, health care and the precious freedoms for which Americans have fought in two world wars. Their situation was incomparably better than it would have been, had they stayed behind in Chechnya. Among the many privileges that they enjoyed religious freedom was by no means the least important. They were able to attend their local mosque, to take part in its services and

Washington Post columnist Ruth Marcus kicked off the attack last week when she blasted as “demagoguery” the administration´s tactics during the pay gap debate. “The level of hyperbole -- actually, of demagoguery -- that Democrats have engaged in here is revolting,” she wrote. CBS White House Correspondent Major Garrett then weighed in this week in his National Journal
