´A coward, a traitor, and a murderer´:
Fort Hood gunman sentenced to death

NBC News, by Charles Hadlock and Mark Potter

Original Article

Posted By:Hazymac, 8/28/2013 9:09:45 PM

FORT HOOD, Texas — Former Army Maj. Nidal Hasan was sentenced to death Wednesday for killing 13 people in a 2009 shooting rampage at Fort Hood, Texas – and the families of several victims said justice had been served for a “coward.” A court-martial jury of 13 retired military officers deliberated for just under two hours before they unanimously agreed on the maximum penalty of lethal injection. The sentence also included dismissing Hasan from the Army and stripping him of his military pay. Hasan, 42, will now be flown to the maximum security U.S. military prison at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas

Comments:
The appeal process ought not to take too long for one whose guilt is as clear as the morning sunrise.

For what? Workplace violence? Seems extreme.

Forget Leavenworth. Stick him in with the bikers in San Quentin. Check back in a week.

I would tend to agree with #1. That SOB ought to be buried in a pigskin, and before his execution, he should be told that in no uncertain terms. The Hell´s Angels or the Straight Satans would probably enjoy meting out long overdue justice. And they´d probably bring along some bacon grease or other pork byproducts to add insult to injury. About four years too late, I´d say.

The only question I have is why didn´t the Army bureaucrats cashier the Islamist fanatic Hasan before he picked up his firearm and killed thirteen? Are they afraid of offending our enemies? And if so, why are their useless butts in their cushy Pentagon chairs? PC has a price, and it´s paid in blood.

If America understood diversity it would embrace Hasan rather than kill this member of a diverse ethnicity and religion.

Embrace diversity. Embrace Muslims who murder us. Be understanding.

According to official stats, in 2009, 3409 military personnel identified themselves as "Muslim"- this could be the UFO space alien believing "Black Muslims" to the radicalized AQ types, Like the murdering coward Hassan. Recently, this matter has become highly sensitive for the Pentagon and estimates of how many of these "people" are now serving. Outside estimate, based on population statistics and considering the military generally represents a fair coss section of the population give an estimate with a wide error range due to other factors - for example, the military percentage of blacks and Hispanics serving is a bit more than their representative percent in the general population due to poverty and education issues. But, some experts have estimated the total of Muslims serving throughout the overall U.S. military establishment may be a minimum of 11,000 and a high of 20,000. The distinction between the Americanized "Black" Muslims and the Farsi or Pashtun speaking types was not attempted.

So, imagine that! As a serving full blooded American soldier, sailor or airman or coastguardsman, you can now always wonder who has your back when the going gets rough.

It is possible, according to these stats, that one person in 70 serving in the US military is a Muslim of one kind or other.
That number, in the light of the Hassan tragedy, would make my skin crawl if I were still serving today.

A Lake Wales hunter says he was attacked by a Florida panther while he was calling turkeys near Lake Kissimmee in Central Florida. If true, it would be the first recorded panther attack on a human since the 1800s. Unfortunately, say state biologists, the hunter waited three weeks to report it. That means they cannot verify that it occurred. His wounds are nearly healed, and rain that has fallen since the attack has obscured any paw prints the animal may have left behind. Still, Byron Maharrey is sure about what pounced on him from behind and left him scratched and

Eight of the killings allegedly carried out by Jose Manuel Martinez, a self-described enforcer for a Mexican drug cartel, occurred in the Central Valley and one in Santa Barbara County. The victims were found by ranchers in fields and alongside country roads, according to the Tulare County district attorney´s office. One man was shot to death in his bed in Pixley while his four young children were at home. Martinez,

Following the massacre of grammar-school children in Newtown, Conn., in December 2012, high-powered weapons have been used to kill innocent victims in more senseless public incidents. Those killings, however, are only a fragment of the total harm caused by the misuse of firearms. Each year, more than 30,000 people die in the United States in firearm-related incidents. Many of those deaths involve handguns. The adoption of rules that will lessen the number of those incidents should be a matter of primary concern to both federal and state legislators.
