Two Years of Lies, Two Years of
Hell - the Agony of Charles Strange

Canada Free Press, by Doug Hagmann

I am writing as the father of four adult children. Although I have lost many loved ones during the half-century-plus of my life, including a close family member to a brutal murder, I know the pain of loss. But I don’t know the pain of losing a son or daughter, and I thank God that He has so far spared me such anguish and grief. A quote by Dwight Eisenhower perhaps says is best: “There’s no tragedy in life like the death of a child. Things never get back to the way they were.” While the death of a son or daughter

I have long thought there was something very wrong with the government´s story about the loss of those guys. God bless Mr. Strange for refusing to stop pursuing the truth.

I never thought I would see the day that I didn´t trust our military commanders. Unfortunately, that day is today.

God Bless the families of Seal Team 6 and those that died with them. I pray the truth will come out.

The Suicide of Unions
American Thinker, by Bruce Walker    Original Article

The recent vote by workers in Tennessee not to set up labor councils at Volkswagen operations is another stunning defeat for unions. The power of these unions, once among the most feared in American politics, has imploded in the last three years. Republicans in state government, who are much more principled conservatives than Washington Republicans, have been courageous and wise. Scott Walker and his modest plans to bring public employee unions back into the realm of fiscal sanity were attacked in a prolonged and vicious campaign rarely seen in politics today. Wisconsin has historically been a state in which unions held

The civil war between the Tea Party and the GOP Establishment has been brutal. But could it be the reason congressional Republicans aren´t putting the heat on President Obama for the IRS scandal? Democratic pollster Pat Caddell thinks so, and radio host Rush Limbaugh said it´s plausible. One historian even told Breitbart News the modern GOP resembles a "crime family." "The establishment Republicans want the IRS to go after the Tea Parties," Caddell told Fox News on Sunday.

Debt-ceiling surrender

As is generally the case in Washington, last week’s debt-ceiling increase demonstrated once again that responsible solutions to help all Americans and their children live better lives are cast aside in favor of short-term political considerations. I ran for Congress to solve the greatest problem facing our nation today and in the future — the national debt. The former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Adm. Mike Mullen, has called the national debt “the most significant threat to our national security,” not to mention to our prosperity and that of future generations. The very first ad of my campaign for Congress

U.S. military deaths in Afghanistan have skyrocketed under President Obama. Since 2009, 73 percent of all U.S. deaths in the country have taken place, amounting to 27.1 fatalities per month, on average. Billy and Karen Vaughn, Gold Star parents of Special Operations Chief (SEAL) Aaron Vaughn who was killed in action in 2011, are speaking out about why. U.S. soldiers in Afghanistan are now forced to fight a two-fronted war. Before each deployment, these soldiers understand fully that day after day they will do battle against relentless terrorists with shifting loyalties and unspeakable hatred. But what none of them could have

GOP, conservatives can´t rock DC

One year after committing himself and his speakership to reducing the federal budget deficit, Rep. John A. Boehner (R.-Ohio) delivered to President Barack Obama and the Democrats a one-year hall pass that will suspend the debt ceiling until 2015. The vote was 221 to 201 with 28 Republicans, like Boehner and his merry band of hacks, voting alongside their BFF’s across the aisle. Members of the House GOP leadership had set the table for a small fight with the Democrats by tying the increase in the debt ceiling to the restoration of cuts in military pensions—hardly the stuff of heroic last stands.

With all the smirking on the left about their electoral victories, it’s important to remember that Democrats haven’t won the hearts and minds of the American people. They changed the people. If you pour vinegar into a bottle of wine, the wine didn’t turn, you poured vinegar into it. Similarly, liberals changed no minds. They added millions of new liberal voters through immigration. So why are Republicans like Trey Gowdy, Eric Cantor, Paul Ryan and John Boehner making fools of themselves in order to spot the Democrats three more touchdowns? The House Republicans’ “Standards for Immigration Reform,” for example, contains this fat,

When pondering our obsession with immigration, I´m reminded of how people in the ridiculous dystopian film Idiocracy were watering their crops with an energy drink called Brawndo. And even though the crops weren´t growing, the suggestion to try water instead was met with the following conditioned response in the drink´s defense: "It´s got what plants crave! It´s got electrolytes!" No one knew what electrolytes were. No one could explain why they were in Brawndo. It was all sloganeering. And so it is with immigration. Why do we have immigration? "Because it´s got what America craves! It´s got people!" But why does

This week and last we learned from Democrats that Obamacare is society´s latest liberating influence. Americans can stop and smell the roses now that they are unshackled from the adult responsibility of providing for their own basic necessities. The need to perform honest yet unpleasant or even difficult work is a thing of the past. Free at last! However, those of us who work for a living are feeling a lot less liberated now that we must subsidize the sabbaticals of those who vote for a living. In 1858, other Democrats were living a "liberated" life at least somewhat similar to their

They’ve lost what little trust I had in them. The Establishment Republicans in the US House of Representatives, I mean. Let me be clear. If the GOP manages to pass amnesty for illegal aliens through the House of Representatives before November of 2016, they will have to ram it down the throats of the conservative base. If they are prepared to do that, then we invite then to, by all means, go for it. But they should be prepared to assume minority party status in a three party system afterwards. I say that because conservatives are preparing to bolt the party and

"America cannot become the world and still be America." So warned the late Harvard political scientist Samuel Huntington in his 2004 article "America´s Dead Souls." Huntington´s article was prophetic, and it explains why some GOP pols have taken the side of big business and illegal immigrants over the interests of our nation. "In a variety of ways, the American establishment, governmental and private, has become increasingly divorced from the American people," Huntington wrote. Huntington´s core point was that the American elite has grown extremely distant -- socially, economically, morally, and politically -- from the public. This trend, he warned, undermines

Last week, U.S. House speaker John Boehner backed down on immigration surrender. It took a firestorm of grassroots opposition to make the speaker drop Paul Ryan´s cave-in to big business interests (led by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce) and the left, arrayed throughout the Democratic Party, the mainstream media, show biz, academia, and whatever other crags and holes they inhabit. And Democrat-supporting Hispanic pressure groups, which the GOP establishment believes needs to be appeased. Note that the speaker only backed down. The bone of immigration surrender is still lodged in Boehner´s pearly-whites. The speaker isn´t to be trusted -- on immigration

If Justin Beiber had returned from Cuba smitten with its healthcare and calling it “awesome!” most Americans would understand. But Iowa Senator and Obamacare champion Tom Harkin serves as chair of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee. He just returned from an official tour of Stalinist Cuba hailing its healthcare as “quite remarkable.” “Cuba’s a poor country,” he marveled. “But they have a lower child mortality rate than us….their public health system is quite remarkable.” What Senator Harkin actually believes to be true or “quite remarkable” might be (implicitly) worthy of emulation. The Clarion Project has unearthed Federal Bureau of Investigations documents detailing a 22-site network of terrorist training villages sprawled across the United States. MOA stands for Muslims of the Americas, which is linked to radical Pakistani Muslim cleric Sheikh Mubarak Ali Gilani. WASHINGTON, D.C., February 17, 2014 – President Barack Obama has elevated the right to have sex with a member of the same sex to the level of universal “fundamental freedoms” in a new presidential statement criticizing Uganda. But critics say his promotion of homosexuality in a continent that overwhelmingly opposes that behavior amounts to a form of liberal “cultural imperialism.” Obama wrote on Sunday that he opposed a proposed bill in Uganda that would criminalize same-sex “marriages” and impose life imprisonment for repeated homosexual acts, among other provisions, because “as a country and a people, the United States has consistently

There´s a long list of Cabinet secretaries and senior aides to President Obama who have failed the nation so resoundingly they should be shown the door. But Secretary John Kerry, who dumped his military decorations in 1971 and was dumped by voters as a presidential candidate in 2004, should definitely be the first one out. LifeNews editor Steve Ertelt announced Monday that he had received a letter threatening legal action. He argued that Americans support raising the minimum wage because it will lift "struggling" families out of poverty: "But they also know what it´s like to see a friend, a neighbor, where one spouse goes back to work, who would prefer maybe not to work. Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnel (R-Ky.) are now in position to end the Tea Party’s death grip on the Republican Party’s political future. Last week, Boehner and McConnell faced down the Tea Party’s threat to cripple the government when they supported raising the nation’s debt ceiling. That move prevented GOP political suicide. If the nation’s credit rating, stocks and the recovery went down the sewer because of Republicans’ refusal to raise the debt ceiling, the GOP’s chances in the midterm elections would have been severely damaged.
