Will Obama finally impose ´accountability´
for Syrian gas attacks?

Secretary of State John Kerry proclaimed Monday that the Obama administration intended to hold accountable the users of chemical weapons in Syria last week. It´s tempting to say, ´Get in line.´ Obama has made similar vows to, among others, hold culprits accountable after the Benghazi massacre last September, after the IRS political scandal and after the FBI lies to a federal court about a journalist receiving leaks of classified information. In every case, Obama´s vows were vacuous. [Snip] Kerry´s brief, but suddenly tough remarks seem to presage imminent military action. Given Obama´s eagerness to withdraw from wars in Iraq and

"They will be held accountable..." Aren´t these the same words we heard after the terrorist attack in Benghazi where 4 Americans were brutally tortured and murdered? Tough talk; no walk. They are waiting for orders from Valerie who is waiting orders from the Muslim Brotherhood

How about the truth? We are broke and cannot afford to make Syria "accountable" other than urge their isolation. Ah, but Our Dear Leader is due to prove his manliness (pending Michelle´s approval).

"They will be held accountable"........to who? It is past time for this country to stick it´s nose into the business of other countries. This kind of situation is supposed to be handled by the UN which they have not done and are incapable of doing. It is also past time for this country to be a member of this organization, pumping in billions of dollars over the years for nothing.

Nobody elected this country to be the police of the world and nobody elected us to tell any other country that they must become a ´democratic´ society.

ALIbama is using this opportunity to start a conflict that will divert American´s attention away from the many scandals plaguing his office and could cause the start of an all out war in that area that cannot be controlled.

It will also be the perfect time for the crazies to put an airplane into another tall building in this country. LOOK OUT!!!

By the time Barack Hussein Obama swore the oath of office with his hand on Abraham Lincoln´s personal Bible 1,883 days ago, he´d made so many promises to the American people that keeping track of them seemed like it would be quite a challenge. Turns out, tracking the public promises that Obama kept was really quite simple. He didn´t keep them. One of Obama´s most famous sunken promises was that his would be the most transparent presidential administration in history.[Snip] Now comes the Associated Press with a report card.

To the surprise of absolutely no one outside the Obama Oval Office, those Crimeans who voted in Sunday´s trumped-up referendum opted overwhelmingly to rejoin Russia. This as thousands of Russian troops occupied the Ukrainian province, while an even larger Russian army happened to conduct ´war games´ on Ukraine´s border. Obama, the former community organizer, again telephoned President Vladimir Putin, the former KGB colonel. Obama reminded the Russian he´d broken international law. Obama warned the Russian the referendum "would never be recognized by the United States." Bet that stung.

Good morning. My name is Bill Johnson, and I’m proud to represent Eastern and Southeastern Ohio in the House of Representatives. Four years ago today, President Obama came to our state and promised our seniors that his health care law would protect their benefits. He said this: “If you like your plan, you can keep your plan. If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor. I don´t want to interfere with people’s relationships between them and their doctors." Now, the reality is, not only is the president’s health care law interfering with these relationships — it’s ending them.

Hi, everybody. In this year of action, I’m doing everything I can, with or without Congress, to expand opportunity for more Americans. This week, I ordered a review of our nation’s overtime rules, to give more Americans the chance to earn the overtime pay they’ve worked for. While those at the top are doing better than ever, average wages have barely budged. Too many Americans are working harder than ever just to keep up.

As part of his desperate political plot to distract the country with something -- anything -- other than ObamaCare´s debacle and serial scandals, Barack Obama has been talking a lot about global warming. Forget about the Nov. 4 midterms, folks. The world is burning up. A crisis not to be wasted. Obama calls it climate change before his audiences because after this endless winter of polar vortexes and record snowfalls and ice cover, the word ´warming´ draws applause or chuckles. [Snip] Now comes Gallup with a poll showing a third of Americans thinks global warming is a threat.

President Obama did it again Tuesday night. He was trying to dodge blame once more for the ineffectiveness of his leadership and administration realistically addressing the country´s genuine challenges at home and abroad. Obama told the crowd: "What´s holding us back is politics. What´s holding us back is an atmosphere in Washington that puts a premium on saying no; puts a premium on an eye towards the next election instead of delivering on behalf of the American people." [Snip] Here´s the catch: While Obama was blaming politicians for keeping their eye on the next election instead of their current jobs,

Sen. Rob Portman gives the Republican Party's Weekly Remarks Hi, I’m U.S. Senator Rob Portman from Ohio, and I want to talk to you today about how to get America moving again. It’s been five years since the experts said the recession was over, but for millions of Americans, it feels like it never ended. We’re living through the weakest economic recovery since World War II, and a lot of folks are struggling to make ends meet. Unemployment remains stubbornly high; the number of long-term unemployed is actually at record levels. But these statistics only tell half the story. Eleven million Americans have become so discouraged that they’ve given up looking for work altogether.

Hi, everybody. This week, I traveled to New England, where I was joined by four governors who are working to raise the minimum wage in each of their states. And they’ve also joined me in calling on Congress to raise the minimum wage from $7.25 to $10.10 an hour. Because it would give nearly 800,000 Americans in their states a raise — and lift wages for about 28 million across the country. So these governors aren’t waiting for Congress to make up its mind. And in my State of the Union Address, I asked America’s business leaders to go ahead and do what they could to raise their employees’ wages, too.

While President Obama´s approval, credibility and trust poll numbers sink into a black sea, the polls on his wife and Secretary of State aren´t that great either. Their numbers are much better than POTUS, according to Gallup. But neither Kerry nor Mrs. Obama is as widely approved by Americans as their recent predecessors. With one exception. Go figure, eh? Kerry's highest personal favorability came years ago when he won the Iowa caucus in 2004 -- 61%. After that, it was pretty much downhill, to 52% on election day and 44% 11 months ago. Former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld has said that ´a trained ape´ could do a better job managing American interests in Afghanistan than President Obama. The retired Republican made the insult while doing a phone-in interview for Greta Van Susteren´s Fox News show on Tuesday. He argued that the President made a serious error by failing to negotiate a status forces agreement with Afghan President Hamid Karzai. Gawker points out that such an agreement would effectively commit the United States to having a certain number of troops in the country for a number of years beyond the already-agreed-upon plan which

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D., Nev.) said the fault of struggling to sign up on the Obamacare exchanges didn’t lie with the faulty website, but with the people who weren’t “educated on how to use the Internet.” Explaining the reasoning behind the latest Obamacare delay, Reid said too many people just didn’t know to use their computer properly and needed more time. Apparently, it had nothing to do with the well-documented failings of the website that have embarrassed the White House for months. “We have hundreds of thousands of people who tried to sign up who didn’t get through,” he said.

Okay, THAT was certainly embarrassing. At the end of a joint news conference with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte in the Netherlands on Tuesday, the applause for Barack Obama came from a grand total of one guy. One. According to the AP-GFK survey released Wednesday, 59 percent disapprove of Obama´s job performance while 41 percent approve. A similar poll released by the news outlet in January found 45 percent approved of him while 53 percent disapproved. Other recent polling has found Obama´s disapproval rating slightly lower, remaining in the low 50s. A CBS News poll Tuesday showed 50 percent disapproval, while Gallup has his disapproval at 52 percent. In the AP poll,

As the U.S. Supreme Court weighed the constitutionality of a contraception coverage mandate Tuesday morning, a federal appeals court heard a separate legal challenge that could have much more sweeping implications for the future of President Obama´s health care law. And if the oral arguments before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. At issue in the case are the subsidies that the federal government provides for individuals purchasing insurance through Obamacare. Though the text

Asked about this “delay” in the implementation of the ACA on Wednesday, Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV) said that there has been no delay. On Tuesday night two things happened. 1. A trio of Secret Service agents were sent home from Amsterdam after one was found passed out drunk in a hotel hallway. 2. The Obama Administration announced (another) extension of the enrollment deadline for Obamacare signups. At first glance, these two events have little in common with one another. But, modern politics is all about narratives and storylines. And, both of these events confirm a growing concern from the public about President Obama: That he´s just not up to governing his administration and, by extension, the country, effectively.

One by one, the myths of the Affordable Care Act have been revealed. When the curtain on open enrollment falls on March 31, the last remaining big myth of ObamaCare will be fully exposed: The individual mandate has failed. After a last-ditch effort with President Obama himself encouraging "young invincibles" to sign up before the deadline, the administration is scrambling to boost enrollment. On Tuesday, the White House announced that people who applied for coverage on the federal health-insurance exchange will have until mid-April to finish the paperwork. More than six million Americans have now signed up for private insurance under the Affordable Care Act, according to the White House, with just four days to go until the end of its first open enrollment period. While traveling in Italy on Thursday, President Obama shared the news in a conference call with thousands of health-care navigators and volunteers helping enroll people on state and federal marketplaces. As the volume of consumers seeking health plans has surged -- there were over 1.5 million visits to HealthCare.gov Wednesday and more than 430,000 calls to the marketplaces´ call centers -- Obama urged those on
