New Mexico Takes a Stab at
Nullifying the Constitution

The New Mexico Supreme Court has ruled that the First Amendments does not apply to people who work for a living. The First Amendment says: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. Given that a person exercises his religion by living his life in harmony with his beliefs, any attempt by government to force people to commit sins is a clear and

Unfortunately my state (which is more corrupt than Illinois) has been sick with progressives and idiots since its founding. All one has to do to get elected to public office is have a Hispanic last name followed by a "D".

Nullify one part of an amendment and you have to nullify the rest. Can you imagine the uproar if there was no more freedom of the press and no more right to assemble like the humanoids did yesterday? As for redress of grievances, good luck with that one anyway. Christianity can be a very private and internal thing. Jesus said to go into your closet and pray, not go to the synagogue and pray, so Christians could simply go back to the way they started, underground. We did it once, we can do it again, and eventually come out stronger.

This is an excellent article on how the government´s division of our nation into a multitude of special groups that "require protection" is destroying the Constitution and individual liberty. According to government it matters not what your individual rights are. Your individual rights are sublimated to the group rights granted to a protected group.

I think it is just a matter of time until the elected and bureaucratic apparatus gets one of two things. Either the individuals will become subservient to the state, or major, nationwide civil unrest will result in martial law. Either way, the apparatus gets what it wants: absolute control.

In reality commercial speech is handled differently than political speech under the laws in all our states, and in federal law.

For example, there´s ADVERTISING! The Federal Trade Commission will come down hard on you for saying ´free delivery´ which you then charge for!

Justice Thomas thinks this differentiation should be eliminated. So do I. Everybody else thinks it´s more important to get billed correctly. And they believe that to the point they´d destroy America to get the last mill reflected.

Alas, we have a large group in this country who demand ´privacy´, which isn´t even named in the Constitution, and think nothing of using the coercive power of government to tell your phone company to record time, date, duration and connections of every phone call you make ~ and yet the Constitution says you ~ and me ~ should be free of such restraint when it comes to our right to speak!

The photographer put no burden on the homosexual couple (lesbian apparently, in this case). And would certainly have done the same even if both women were heterosexual, since sexual preference was never the issue. The photographer simply declined an offer of a contract for services, doing absolutely nothing to inhibit their further pursuit of their "marital" goal, nor to burden them in any way.

The court, however, has burdened the practice of a religious preference, i.e., the preference to support Biblical marriage as something ordained by God. The judge has robbed someone for being a Christian, and has done so in the name of the state and the public.

If the state can order a private, for-profit company to accept a "customer" who wants a work product (photographs) that violates the worker´s morals...how is that different from slavery?

Nobody wants to face the simple logic of ´freedom of association´.

Why is the merchant burdened with non-discrimination when the customer isn´t ?

(Git ta hell outta my store, son.)

It is only the GOVERNMENT who are constrained to be non-discriminatory.

Yet they are selling you Affirmative Freakin´ Action like it was good.

New Mexico has no supreme court. There are just a few old karl marx law school attendees that get to call themselves judges. They are really worse than that gaggle that sit in san Francisco called a U. S. appellate court.

Imagine U.S. Senators Joe Manchin of West Virginia and Jon Tester of Montana attacking fellow Democrats Diane Feinstein, Chuck Schumer and Richard Blumenthal over their unconstitutional gun control proposals. Further, envision Manchin granting an interview with conspiratorial radio talk show host Alex Jones, during which the senator calls Feinstein, Schumer and Blumenthal “wacko birds.” Picture the harrumphing that would emanate from the elite media…

Humans have an instinctive desire to believe in something bigger than themselves—something all-knowing, all-seeing, all-powerful, that can make everything right when nothing seems to go right. Ask any anthropologist or archaeologist, and he or she will tell you that pretty much every culture in the history or humankind has had a set of beliefs regarding a god or gods.

Before getting to the speech itself, it’s worth noting a few things. When the Democrats passed and Barack Obama signed Obamacare, the majority opposed it. About 56%, in fact. A majority have consistently opposed that law ever since. The Obama administration touted 7 million sign-ups by March 31 as “success.” When that goal appeared to be unreachable, the administration suggested that maybe 5 or 6 million would be enough. Now, as if by magic, they have their number. Somehow. All along, the administration has touted false numbers of enrollees. All along, the administration has neglected to admit that Obamacare is

A few months back, HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius stated for the record that 7 million Obamacare sign-ups by the end of March would constitute success. She was clear about it. But then February came, and February always stinks. It’s just a lousy month. You’re tired of winter, you’re still miles away from spring, and no one was signing up for Obamacare. That 7 million figure looked totally unreachable. So Sebelius does what every other member of the Obama administration does when confronted with inconvenient facts. She lied. The North Carolina State Board of Elections has found thousands of instances of voter fraud in the state, thanks to a 28-state crosscheck of voter rolls. Initial findings suggest widespread election fraud. 765 voters with an exact match of first and last name, DOB and last four digits of SSN were registered in N.C. and another state and voted in N.C. and the other state in the 2012 general election. 35,750 voters with the same first and last name and DOB were registered in N.C. and another state and voted in both states in the 2012 general election. 155,692 voters

A triumphant President Barack Obama declared his signature medical insurance overhaul a success, saying it has made America´s health care system ´a lot better.´ But buried in the 7.1 million enrollments he announced in a heavily staged Rose Garden appearance is a more unsettling reality. Numbers from a RAND Corporation study that has been kept under wraps suggest that barely 858,000 previously uninsured Americans – nowhere near 7.1 million – have paid for new policies and joined the ranks of the insured by Monday night. Others were already insured, including millions who lost coverage when their existing policies were suddenly

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – President Obama compared the Republican budget plan to a "stinkburger" or "meanwich" during a speech here Wednesday, using a series of zingers in an attempt to strike a contrast with the GOP on economic issues in an election year. In a speech to an enthusiastic crowd of 1,400 at the University of Michigan, Obama repeatedly mocked Republican ideas about how to improve the economy, as he touted his own proposal to raise the minimum wage. Obama, who visited the local Zingerman´s deli before the speech, said that Republican proposals to cut taxes for wealthier Americans and

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, criticized last year by a Vatican official for her support of abortion, received a rosary Tuesday from President Obama that was blessed by Pope Francis. Mrs. Pelosi told reporters of the president’s gift after having lunch with Mr. Obama at the White House. The president met with the pope last week at the Vatican. “I was happy to receive a rosary blessed by Pope Francis,” she said. “It means a great deal to me.” Last year, a Vatican official in Rome said that Mrs. Pelosi should be denied communion. “This is a person who obstinately,

With Chris Christie in deep trouble, Republican poobahs are reportedly looking to Jeb Bush to save their party in 2016. The former two-term governor of Florida speaks fluent Spanish, is a convert to Catholicism, and has high name recognition. Jeb could raise millions of dollars over night by just saying “yes” to running. Despite all this, there are strong reasons Republicans should say no to him. 1. His last name is poison. Let’s face it, if Jeb Bush had the last name of Something Else he would have already run for president in 2008 or 2012. According to a recent Washington Post/ABC News poll registered voters were asked if they would definitely NOT vote for Jeb Bush and 50 percent said they would not.

Atlanta – Vegetarians may have a lower BMI and drink alcohol sparingly, but vegetarian diets are tied to generally poorer health, poorer quality of life and a higher need for health care than their meat-eating counterparts. A new study from the Medical University of Graz in Austria finds that vegetarians are more physically active, drink less alcohol and smoke less tobacco than those who consume meat in their diets. Vegetarians also have a higher socioeconomic status and a lower body mass index. But the vegetarian diet — characterized by a low consumption of saturated fats and cholesterol that includes increased intake
