Obama Not Informed of Extent of
Egyptian Violence Until August 15

Breitbart´s Big Peace, by AWR Hawkins

Original Article

Posted By:Dreadnought, 8/16/2013 8:57:08 PM

The Washington Examiner is reporting that Obama "apparently" did not know about the extent of the violence in Egypt until National Security Adviser Susan Rice informed him of it on August 15. CNN´s Jack Tapper reported that the violence that has filled world news outlets for two days and has resulted in hundreds of deaths is just now reaching the president via the individual who infamously blamed Benghazi on a YouTube video. On August 15 Tapper wrote: This morning, the president had a phone call, a principals meeting with Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel, Secretary of State John Kerry, and

This is really strange!

There´s a photo on the Weekly Standard website, dated August 12, 2013, with the caption:

"National Security Advisor Susan E. Rice briefs President Barack Obama during his Presidential Daily Briefing in Chilmark, Mass., August 12, 2013," reads the White House caption for the photo.

when one reads this and reads about Obama playing spades during Osama raid when he was photographed/advertised as supposedly watching/overseeing studiously in the Situation Room, one wonders if we are getting the "Hollywood" version of his presidency, while the guts of it are something entirely different, most unsettling.

This is bullfeathers. Even an arrogant Susan Rice is too smart to have kept quiet or downplayed this chaos in Egypt when she briefed the President. I´m sure he is briefed daily, but I can also believe he doesn´t really listen and doesn´t much care. This is a clumsy Obama attempt to explain his tardy report to the nation. "I didn´t know!!" Susan Rice is accustomed to being the patsy, so she doesn´t mind a repeat of the Benghazi video flimflam.

Obama War Room: Balk Like an Egyptian

JOHN KERRY: General al-Sisi agreed to accept your call as soon as he’s finished executing someone, sir. He´s giving you ten minutes.
OBAMA: What´ll that ten minutes cost us?
KERRY: Fifty M1A2 Abrams tanks and ten million hollow points in various calibers to help keep the peace. On line 2 now.
OBAMA: General! Good to speak with you.

Ignore what you´re hearing, sir. Egypt will receive all twenty F-16 fighters, as promised.

Yes, U.S. law does forbid military aid to leaders of a coup d´etat. However, my lawyers will argue that you’ve merely appropriated the media and are controlling the dissemination of news. We’re calling it a coup d’ata, which is a whole different kettle of fish.

Doesn´t matter if it flies. I’ll simply ship the planes, tanks, and ammunition to your Minister of Antiquities. What he does with them is his business.

I’m aware that unrest is spreading, sir. How may I assist you?

Unorthodox but logical, General. My Defense Secretary will coordinate with your people. We may yet stave off a civil war, inshallah. [hangs up]
KERRY: A plan, sir?
OBAMA: The masses need a distraction before internal strife rips Egypt apart. Sisi requested a green light to attack Israel. I agreed. That will rally the country around the military.
KERRY: But when Israel recovers from the surprise . . .
OBAMA: Then I’ll fly to Egypt and broker a peace between rounds of golf at the Katameya Dunes Lake Course in Cairo. Israel accedes or we cut off their aid.

[enter First Lady]

We’re going to Africa again? Let’s take Chicago’s entire South Side with us this time. They´re well-armed, so they´ll be safe in Cairo. We’ll need several aircraft carriers for transport. You hear me, Barack?

He probably told them not to discuss anything about Egypt while he is on vacation. He has too much to do; golf, ride bicycle, golf, eat out, party, golf...Why isn´t Valerie Jarrett being questioned about what is going on. No one has her on TV like they did Karl Rove. His brief insipid statement on TV could have been better made by anyone but him. He shows no emotion at all when talking. He really doesn´t care.

Has Obama suspended the daily briefing? Is he so confident in his ability to deal with the Middle East that he feels he can make decisions without facts? Look at the world today after 4 1/2 years of Obama´s reign. The Middle East is in serious continual conflict. Iraq and Afghanistan are where our men and women go to die thanks to this administration´s ROE´s. Russia and China have dismissed Obama as a lightweight. North Korea is even more unstable. South America is being gobbled up by socialism/communism. Africa is a awash in genocide. Then we have our beloved country that is financially, militarily, amd morally on its knees and you see Obama´s hands all over it. He is not only lacking in intelligence. He is too lazy and apathetic to do his job. He is a narcissist with passive-aggressive behavior and is totally unfit for the office he holds.

It came to me this morning while I fixed breakfast for my dad. This administration is like a bunch of children playing "school". Remember back in the day when one of you was the teacher, one was the principal and the rest were the students? You really had no idea how to teach or lead and you never learned anything. There was just a lot of writing on the blackboard, shuffling papers and asking to go to the bathroom. Usually the game disintegrated into chaos as other "students" wanted to be the "teacher" and everyone knew it was just pretend. Then it was outside for some real fun. Sound familiar?

How many Egyptian people imprisoned for political reasons, raped, assaulted, died, had their churches burned down while the Morsi & the Muslim Brotherhood were in charge?

They are continuing to burn Coptic Christian churches - why is that? Is that the way they express their desire for democracy?

Obama should have pulled the aid THEN - and he is trying to resist calls to pull the aid now while the military is in charge because he is gambling that Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood will be back in charge again.

What would be the logistics involved in having to reauthorize a billion dollars of aid every year to Egypt, once Morsi and the MB are back in charge?

The only reason Obama even pretends to be president is his love of the title and, of course, the perquisites that go with that title. It´s simply grand to experience all the dumb adulation of the Lofo masses (which include 95% of the mainstream media) and have the ability to fly everywhere with retinues of literally hundreds of starry-eyed hangers on, eat lobster and wagyu beef, drink thousand dollar bottles of wine, party hearty ´til indecent hours, golf ´til you drop, smoke funny cigarettes, and play cards with Reggie while the world goes to hell all around you. Obama has never done any work before. Since he´s having such a great time, why should he start now? After all, he´s entitled.

Oh yes, and thank you, Sagman (#17). That was masterful.

One of two changes obviously need to be made in the WH, either:

1. The "daily briefing" needs to be given by someone who actually notes the most volatile situations in the world -- at least to the extent that lay news sources are already covering them.

or

2. Obama´s Czar of Propaganda needs to verify that there is no contrary photographic or video evidence before issuing an official (and blatantly untrue) excuse for Obama doing the wrong thing.

Foreign policy is not on this administration´s to-care list. It´s not the Chicago way, which is about using official means to extort treasure from whatever source is available. If anything, Democrats always seem to have a strong attraction to Islamic "freedom fighters", from the Ayatollah to now Morsi. If you´re a secular Ba´athist, you´re an evil dictator. If you´re an Arab royal family, however, you´re a sugar daddy worth protecting. Ask Saddam´s ghost how that works.

I just know this is all Israel´s fault. There they sit in the midst of all this chaos, while those ever loving Muslims destroy themselves. It´s like watching Chicago and Detroit on a typical night after the sun goes down.

I´m not sure our foreign born, fearless leader even knows where Egypt is on the map unless it is near a golf course, a vacation spa or Reggie Love. When he and John Kerry (he was in Viet Nam) both get snubbed by Putin in the same month you know the end is near.

When Obama is out of the White House, is he out of contact with every official except Rice? What about the Secretary of State? Wouldn´t Kerry be updating the President about the upheaval in Cairo´s streets? The ambassador, who isn´t still in Cairo, but is somewhere keeping up with events, we hope. None of this can be believed. But, if it´s only partially true, Barack Obama is playing emperor, not leader of the free world.

He mentally can´t go anywhere without enough security to protect a small nation.
In all kindness he should be relieved of the strings and allowed to enjoy life in Hawaii before it´s too late.

USAID documents cite Hillary

Washington Times, by Guy Taylor    Original Article

In internal government documents with potential repercussions for the 2016 presidential election, top officials at the U.S. Agency for International Development repeatedly cited former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton for setting into motion a policy to waive restrictions on who could receive U.S. aid in Afghanistan, resulting in millions of dollars in U.S. funds going directly into the coffers of Afghan ministries known to be rife with corruption. References to Mrs. Clinton’s role in the policy first appeared in a November 2012 USAID action memo, which outlined how U.S. officials made a “strategic foreign-assistance

If “Meet the Press” moderator David Gregory were a guest on his own show, he knows the kinds of questions he’d be asked. Why have your ratings been falling? Is the show in trouble? Is your job in trouble? “I get it,” says Gregory, the face of the longest-running TV program in American history (founded: 1947). “Do I want to be number one in the ratings? Every week I want to be number one, and we fight like hell to get there. And it’s tough right now. It’s a fight.” He adds, “I’m not just trying to sell you — well, I am trying to sell you — but I’m not going to B.S. you, either. Yeah, it’s hard. I see what our challenges are.

Long-term unemployed struggle

For the long-term unemployed, finding a job is hard — but keeping one may be even harder. New research tracking people who have been out of work for six months or longer found that 23 percent of them landed a job within a few months of the study. But a year later, more than a third of that group was unemployed again or out of the labor force altogether. The findings are the latest in a bleak but growing body of literature suggesting long-term unemployment has become a trap that is difficult to escape. Economists say that means the long-term unemployed could become a permanent underclass, left behind by the nation’s broader

The Social Security Administration announced Monday that it will immediately cease efforts to collect on taxpayers’ debts to the government that are more than 10 years old. The action comes after The Washington Post reported that the government was seizing state and federal tax refunds that were on their way to about 400,000 Americans who had relatives who owed money to Social Security. In many cases, the people whose refunds were intercepted had never heard of any debt, and the debts dated as far back as the middle of the past century. “I have directed an immediate halt to further

Democrats have had a recurring problem in special elections this year: Their voters aren’t turning out. If a weak economy and continued Obamacare problems persist, the November elections could be a disaster for Democrats. Last week, Democrats lost two special elections they weren’t planning to. Arlington, Va., is a classic wealthy ObamaTown, filled with government workers and limousine liberals. Mitt Romney won only 29 percent of the vote in 2012. But last Tuesday, Democrats lost their first election for the five-member Arlington County Board in 15 years when John Vihstadt, a Republican running as an independent, won a vacancy on

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said little as federal agents seized and then released cattle last week from the Bundy ranch, but there is little doubt that the highly charged episode was threatening to become a political headache for the Nevada Democrat. The Bureau of Land Management is headed by former longtime Reid aide Neil Kornze, who was confirmed by the Senate as BLM director on Tuesday, just as federal authorities descended on the cattle ranch outside Mesquite, Nev. Mr. Kornze issued a statement Saturday saying that the bureau would return the cattle and withdraw its agents from the ranch

On the defensive about their prospects in the midterm elections this fall, congressional Democrats have spent all of April savaging the Republican budget proposal, decrying the Koch brothers and championing a series of bills meant to ingratiate themselves to struggling middle-class voters. In promoting legislation that would extend unemployment benefits, increase the minimum wage and promote equal pay for women, the Democrats have declared themselves the party that will ensure a “fair shot” for all. Republicans, they insist, are the party of special interests. It has been a classic Washington messaging campaign for these partisan

Following the massacre of grammar-school children in Newtown, Conn., in December 2012, high-powered weapons have been used to kill innocent victims in more senseless public incidents. Those killings, however, are only a fragment of the total harm caused by the misuse of firearms. Each year, more than 30,000 people die in the United States in firearm-related incidents. Many of those deaths involve handguns. The adoption of rules that will lessen the number of those incidents should be a matter of primary concern to both federal and state legislators. Legislatures are in a far better position than judges to assess the

If the Rev. John DeBonville could preach a sermon to lift the souls of churchgoers across America, his message would be simple: Stop dressing so tacky for church. DeBonville has heard about the “come as you are” approach to dressing down for Sunday service, but he says the Sabbath is getting too sloppy. When he scans the pews of churches, DeBonville sees rows of people dressed in their Sunday worst. They saunter into church in baggy shorts, flip-flop sandals, tennis shoes and grubby T-shirts. President Obama asserts that 8 million people have signed up for Obamacare, as though that were something to be proud of. As the number of subsidized participants grows, the disaster gets worse. Charles Blahous explains: Our national discussion…is missing the truly significant story here; what is unfolding before our eyes is a colossal fiscal disaster, poised to haunt legislators and taxpayers for decades to come. “On the third day, he rose again.” That line, from the Nicene Creed, is a foundational statement of Christian belief. It declares that three days after Jesus died on the cross, he was resurrected, a glimmer of the eternal life promised to believers. It’s the heart of the Easter story in seven little words. But how that statement is interpreted is the source of some of the deepest rifts in Christianity — and a stumbling block for some Christians, and more than a few skeptics. Did Jesus literally come back from the dead in a bodily resurrection, as many traditionalist
