More Than 500,000 Have
Benefited from Deferred Action

Latin American Herald Tribune, by Staff

WASHINGTON – The U.S. government announced Thursday that it has suspended the deportation of 552,918 undocumented young people since the Deferred Action program went into effect a year ago. The government has received a total of 573,404 requests under Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, an immigration program implemented by the Obama administration on Aug. 15, 2012, according to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. The program suspends for two years the deportation of qualified undocumented youths and young adults who entered the United States as minors.

Considering that BO does not even know his "legislation" - like he didn´t know executive branch sua sponte cannot enact laws...he probably has no idea what it constitutes and what it will create.

Queries: How do these poor little illegals prove that they were brought here illegally, at what age and by what method. Are they carrying their Mexican bcs? Did they keep their train, bus or plane ticket stubs from Mexico City to LA? How do you prove jumping a fence or swimming the Rio Grande, eh?

What is the collateral affect by the poor little illegal with respect to their illegal parents. The government will not deport 15-year old Jose´s parents because he otherwise becomes a ward of that State as he is a minor. Best to keep the illegal alien parents here, make them citizens and let them pay for Jose (although the US taxpayers will be paying for free education, free food stamps, free emergency room care for a bloody nose, free housing, etc.).

Finally, and the best part is that they will all become Dems, get on Obamacare and deprive Americans, especially the youth and the elderly from employment.

Prepare for US taxes to soar to the levels of France, UK, Begium and Holland. Why work, just jump on the entitlement train.

How can we continue to let these people continue to come and stay here? The cost for taking care of them and our own people going without, especially the elderly. I have to pay for my medicare, supplement, prescription plan. Get no food stamps or help with utilities. I can´t believe the price of groceries and paper products. I am 77 years old, have a 12 year old car, (recently updated from a 17 yrar old one with some help) ane I don´t get one cent of help. Home was paid for and had to take out a loan and making house payments again. Now according to Obama care, they will go by my age of approx how many years I should live as to whether I will get health needs taken care of. This country is going downhill. Something I never thought I would live to see. My kids and grandkids will suffer as will many of yours out there in lucianne land.

You can dress it up and call it something different everyday, but we are still talking about illegals sucking the country dry of social services and not paying into the system.
Some of us live in a sea of brown and it´s up close and personal. The elderly in this country who worked most of their lives and or served this country are totally disrespected by this administration and get squat.
The article does not mention the percentage coming from the West Indies. If they are not your new nurse, they are on welfare because of the amount of kids even if they work minimum wage jobs. The same group sending containers of food and clothes back to the old country.
I for one would like to know the amount of money leaving this country via Western Union and how many of those sending money are collecting welfare.

Cossack militiamen attacked Pussy Riot in downtown Sochi on Wednesday, setting upon the feminist punk group with whips when several members—including Masha Alyokhina, in the pink mask—emerged from a restaurant clad in brightly colored clothing and balaclavas. A guitar was smashed, but no serious injuries were immediately apparent. Alyokhina and her bandmate Nadya Tolokonnikova, who just finished a tour of the U.S. after being released from Russian prison, were briefly detained by authorities yesterday.

The impending threat of communism in Venezuela is now a reality with the “Decree with Range, Value and Force of Fair Prices” published in the country’s Official Gazette on January 24, issued by President Nicolás Maduro thanks to the special powers granted through an enabling law by lawmakers of the chavismo regime in November of last year. The destructive power of this decree over businesses is enormous when compared to other similar laws passed by Congress over the last 15 years, and that’s a lot to say. Not in vain the goal of that decree is quite explicit: Consolidating the economic

Venezuelan troops fanned out across the capital, Caracas, and other major cities on Thursday after President Nicolás Maduro ordered a military clampdown against deadly unrest that he warned was part of a "fascist" coup plot. Piles of burning rubbish sat smoking along Caracas´ main avenue as troops moved to secure the city following an outbreak of street violence that left three dead on Wednesday. Armed soldiers surrounded government buildings and diverted traffic, while riot troops guarded entrances to the shuttered subway system as residents picked their way through broken glass.

There´s a debate going on about Hillary Clinton´s past. If she runs for president in 2016, should Republicans reach back to the scandals of her years as First Lady? Or should they focus on more recent times, especially her tenure as Secretary of State, to build a case against her? The GOP doesn´t have to choose. Of course Clinton´s recent experiences are relevant to a presidential run. But so are her actions in the 90s, the 80s and even the 70s. It´s not ancient history; it reveals something about who Clinton was and still is. And re-examining her past is entirely consistent with practices in recent campaigns. In the 2012 presidential race,
