Most of the talk about the recently released Reggie Love interview centers on Love´s admission that he and President Obama played cards -- Sp***s to be precise -- during the Osama bin Laden raid. But Love, Obama´s "body man" for several years, revealed more than the White House wanted him to about Obama´s notorious birth certificate. At a forum hosted last month hosted by the Artists & Athletes Alliance in Los Angeles, Love jovially recalled the moment when Obama "finally found" his birth certificate. The moderator chimed in mischievously: "It took a little too long, by the way." Said Love in
Wouldn´t the raid on Osama bin Laden have been a top secret undertaking, in which case it should have been revealed only to people with top secret security clearance? Did Reggie Love have top secret security clearance when Obama told him about it as they were playing cards? Would a presidential "body man" normally have such clearance? The Justice Department should investigate this.
(P.S.: Pardon my ignorance - why is it necessary to write the word "Spades" as "Sp***s"?)
But, if one wants to see the video - WND has it on it´s site.
Does obama´s WH team think to bring up these scandals to detract from all the other "phony" scandals?
Mike Zullo - Arpaio´s Cold Case Posse Leader just present to the Ten Commandants Judge R. Moore a 57 page Affidavit with documentation proving the BC is a fraudulent Document. Can you say FRAUD is a Felony and has no Statute of Limitations in pursuing legal ramifications for same?
I can´t help being a little curious: who ***-ed out the card game´s name in this article? If it wasn´t a brain-dead automatic letter-combination filter, then it was a human whose reasoning engine is just as idiotically simplistic. The other article on this at American Thinker (in today´s "must reads" on Lcom) leaves the word intact.
Re #1, if the reference to Reggie´s leaving the White House again has to do with an article posted yesterday, it was a staledated 2011 article posted with permission.
He formally left his position as body man in 2011 when the interim chief of staff to Obama decided he was too risky for the reelection campaign. His X-rated Duke photos are still out there on the internet. So he left to finish his post-graduate work, yada, yada, yada. But he really has never left Obie´s special circle of special friends.
This is an excellent article on the mendacity surrounding Obie´s purported Hawaiian birth, his purported parents´ "relationship" and so forth. The guilty include Neil Abercrombie and, by default, the feckless authors like David Maraniss who perpetuated the myths about Obie without doing any investigation whatsoever. Thus it was a "received myth".
In Michael Agar´s book entitled Language Shock: Understanding the Culture of Conversation, he asks "[h]ow do you speak and act a lie at the same time?" Agar maintains that there are three characteristics of an act that tell ... whether a lie occurred or not: I. The sentence is false; 2. The person knows it´s false; 3. The person intends to deceive. A lie isn´t just what´s in the discourse; it´s also what´s in the circumstances of the act of speaking, like the knowledge and intentions of the speaker. Furthermore, "the thing that most people would say makes a lie
Organizing for Action (OFA), which lives at the web address barackobama.com because it is an outgrowth of the Obama presidential campaigns, is shamelessly seeking to exploit the deaths of school children at the hands of a maniac in Newtown, CT. I am beyond words. How low can you go?
Global warming hysterics at the BBC warned us in 2007 that by summer 2013, the Arctic would be ice-free. As with so many other doomsday predictions by warmists, the results turn out to be quite the opposite. The UK Daily Mail reports: A chilly Arctic summer has left 533,000 more square miles of ocean covered with ice than at the same time last year - an increase of 29 per cent. (snip) The Northwest Passage from the Atlantic to the Pacific has remained blocked by pack-ice all year. More than 20 yachts that had planned to sail it have been left
Barack Obama is a man with only one core conviction. He has, as the basic foundation of his otherwise disorganized and uncertain belief system, the irrefutable tenet that the United States, because of its European roots, has been the epitome of oppression and arrogance throughout its history. Therefore, he is able to rationalize the need to say or do anything as the transformation of American society and the end of the pre-eminent status of the United States are his sole objectives. He has, thus, adopted a pre-meditated schizophrenic personality wherein he comports himself as an apologist and appeaser on the
Liberal media bon pensants are in a huff over remarks delivered by London´s Mayor Boris Johnson suggesting that IQ and effort have something to do with income. (snip) Britain´s Guardian, which regards itself as the leading organ of the left wing intelligentsia, busied itself ginning up an editorial pretending that Johnson is probably a racist: [Johnson used] a bizarre metaphor - "The harder you shake the pack, the easier it will be for some cornflakes to get to the top" - which was likely designed to confuse with colour, and make sure that this ambitious politician didn´t say too much.
The University of Colorado at Boulder is known for being one of the most politically correct campuses in the United States, particularly when it comes to Native American cultures. (snip) I think it is absolutely fine to name the dorms after the chiefs. My problem is with the pretensions of fighting "cultural chauvinism" and "primitivization." The plain fact is that the Araphao or Hinono´ei Language was a preliterate language, unlike French. Any rendering of the language into Roman letters should qualify as "cultural chauvinism." There is no way at all to put into a foreign system of writing a preliterate
In June 2013, Judge Beryl Howell of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia dismissed the Pacific Legal Foundation (PLF)´s case that ObamaCare violates the Constitution´s Origination Clause. This clause reads, "All bills for raising revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives; but the Senate may propose or concur with amendments as on other Bills." (snip)Judge Howell was likely wrong to have dismissed PLF´s lawsuit against ObamaCare for, among other reasons, not violating the Origination Clause´s second half.
While Americans enjoyed their day of thanks and feasting yesterday, news emerged from the Arab world about a shocking dimension of the cave-in to Iran at Geneva. If true, this report from Al-Arabiya is highly disturbing: Iran and the United States are to establish a joint chamber of commerce within a month, with direct flights also planned, an Iranian official said Wednesday in a newspaper report. "Iran-U.S. chamber of commerce will be launched in less than one month," Abolfazl Hejazi, a member of Iran´s Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, told the English-language Iran Daily.
Remember the crowd at the Democrat convention booing Jerusalem? Obama is lifting sanctions on Iran for them. He wants to give Democrats a happy feeling over their morning cup of coffee, instead of another stomachache reading about those 5 million people who have lost their health care and will be voting Republican in 2014. With the fracking revolution bringing down the worldwide price of oil, Iran was finally feeling the economic pinch from sanctions, and facing a restive population. By lifting sanctions, Obama has saved the mullahs, without getting a halt to their nuclear weapons program in return.
Two recent incidents have caused many people, including blogger Elizabeth Scalia, to suggest that people stop tipping with cash, in order to prevent being falsely accused of a hate crime. In the first incident, a Red Lobster waitress in Tennessee posted a copy of a credit card receipt containing no tip but with the n-word to her Facebook page, and it went viral. Many bought into her story (snip) So, if you want to avoid being falsely accused of stiffing on a tip and committing a hate crime, always put the tip on your credit card. And save your receipts
Friends, I know, it´s Thanksgiving, and the last thing you want to hear from your tongue-pierced Anthropology major nephew is how unbelievably fantabulous ObamaCare is. Grandma´s stuffing is out of this world, to be cherished -- no, worshipped; yet the White House, via Organizing For Action, is encouraging the Zombie Faithful to shanghai dinner. (snip) OFA Talking Point #1: Healthcare.gov has had difficulties but the state exchanges are working well. Rebuttal: HA-HA-HA.... Like Oregon? They spent $45 million, give or take a million - who´s counting? -- and signed up the same number of people clamoring to see Michelle on
The ground is being laid for future racial strife over Barack Obama once he is out of office. His fanatical supporters, especially in the African-American community which has remained solidly in his camp despite all his demonstrated incompetence and lies, are being set up to see him as a martyr. I will be accused of all sorts of grievous offenses, from racism to judging too hastily, but I think it is becoming clear that Obama´s two terms will be regarded as a failed presidency (snip)We are now seeing the type of blatant messianic portrayals of Obama offered through government schools that
Jeffrey P. Bezos has never been known for thinking small. And in an interview aired Sunday on CBS´s "60 Minutes," he outlined his latest plan for revolutionizing the retail industry: using drones to deliver packages in as little as 30 minutes. Declaring himself an "optimist," the Amazon.com founder and chief executive predicted the technology could be brought to market in as little as five years. This is more than a theoretical idea. Bezos showed CBS´s Charlie Rose a working prototype of an eight-rotor helicopter drone called an "octocopter." Emblazoned with "Amazon Prime Air," the flying robot has a claw at
Rep. Jim McDermott (D-Wash.) said on MSNBC’s “PoliticsNation” Wednesday that when Jesus fed five thousand people with five loaves of bread and two fish, “he didn’t charge food stamps.” “When Jesus had those five loaves and two fishes, he didn´t charge food stamps. He didn´t ask anybody how much money they had. He fed them because they were hungry, and that´s really where we ought to be,” McDermott said in response to Republican critics of the SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program). In September, the House approved a plan by Republicans to cut $39 billion in food stamps over the next
The nation’s view of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, colored by the horrific Benghazi assassination of the U.S. ambassador to Libya on her watch, has suddenly turned upside down, with more now holding an unfavorable opinion of the likely 2016 presidential candidate. A new YouGov/Economist poll found Clinton, whose approval ratings have typically been sky high, with an unfavorable rating of 48 percent, more than the 46 percent who have a favorable opinion of her. The YouGov pollsters said that the change in American attitudes toward Clinton "suggests that negative press surrounding the tragic
In the US we are used to abortion advocates claiming that the risk of elective abortion is relatively trivial, and major medical organizations denying any link between abortion and breast cancer. Now a powerful new study from China published last week by Yubei Huang and colleagues suggests otherwise. The article, a meta-analysis pooling 36 studies from 14 provinces in China, showed that abortion increased the risk of breast cancer by 44% with one abortion, and 76% and 89% with two and three abortions. This new article is another example of the recent excellent scholarship on abortion in peer-reviewed journals coming out
MIDDLETOWN, Del.- Remembering the plot of a short story is no longer good enough in teacher Amy Lawson´s fifth-grade classroom. Today´s students are being asked to think more critically. For example, what might a character say in an email to a friend? "It´s hard. But you can handle this," Lawson tells them. Welcome to a classroom using the Common Core State Standards, one of the most politicized and misunderstood changes in education for students and their teachers in kindergarten through high school. In 45 states and the District of Columbia, Lawson and and other teachers are starting to use the standards
Gov. Chris Christie’s “bizarre behavior’’ in refusing to say he’ll support a possible GOP challenger to Gov. Cuomo next year could derail his chances to become president, state and national GOP insiders have told The Post. “Christie already has a problem with many Republicans refusing to forgive him because of his embrace of [President] Obama and his socially liberal policies,’’ said a nationally prominent GOP operative. “But this bizarre behavior in suggesting he won’t help a Republican defeat a Democratic governor, and a Cuomo no less, could finish off his chances of becoming his party’s nominee for president in 2016,’’ the
Senior officials in the White House have said that Israel Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu “is desperate and weak,” in reaction to Netanyahu´s remonstrations against the deal struck with Iran over its nuclear weapons program. Israeli television Channel 10 quoted the officials as saying “His pronouncements show a lack of self-confidence,” in an unusually harsh personal attack on Netanyahu. “We are not perturbed by his vocal opposition.”
A push by activists to ease the 30-year-old blanket ban on blood donations from gay and bisexual men faces a key test this week as a federal panel hears results of the latest research. The findings will be released amid growing pressure from politicians and advocates, including college students, to change the policy. Critics say the ban is a hangover from the early, fear-filled days of AIDS, stigmatizing gay men and ignoring advances in treatment and detection in the decades since. Supporters of the policy say politics, not science, is driving the proposed change, which would heighten the risk of
President Obama completed an ambitious fundraising schedule for Democrats in November, but many of the congressional candidates he is trying to help are finding their election prospects next year imperiled by the president’s faulty health care law. Several polls in the past week have shown congressional Republicans pulling even or slightly ahead of Democrats in generic balloting for the midterm elections, a swing of at least 10 percentage points in less than a month. Pollsters attribute the seismic shift to the series of glaring flaws in Obamacare, most of which came to the public’s attention after the program’s rollout Oct.
Bill Clinton, the cliché goes, was the first black president, no matter his skin color. That being the case, Barack Obama is not the first black president, or the first African-American president, if you prefer, but the first hippie president. Clinton’s southern background and lifestyle were indeed more typically black, just as Obama’s was more typically hippie. And we’re not just talking about the “Choom gang” here, scarfing “Maui Wowie” on the sands of Oahu. We’re talking about all of it, the whole multi-culti-missing-white-mother-vanished-Kenyan-father-anti-imperialist-America-is-always-the-enemy-and-don’t-you-forget-it-nine-yards. And like most hippie culture as I knew and experienced it, it wasn’t about “peace and love.” Not
Former Obama advisor David Plouffe appeared on This Week With George Stephanopoulos Sunday morning and predicted that President Barack Obama’s approval rating would rise over the next few months, following the increasing functionality of the Affordable Care Act. “This has been a tough task,” Plouffe said. “It’s not just health care. The shutdown affected everybody’s confidence in government. But let’s fast-forward to the State of the Union and the months after that. Health care working better, a lot of people signing up. The economy continuing to strengthen. Hopefully no Washington shutdowns.
So the troubled site apparently now works 90 percent of the time. That should be good news for Obama—but the question is whether Obamacare will get the mass enrollment it needs. HealthCare.gov finally works. Now people just need to use it. The error-plagued website, which was supposed to be the portal for Americans seeking to buy health insurance through the exchanges set up by the Affordable Care Act, is finally approaching basic functionality two months after it went online. In a report released Sunday, the Department of Health and Human Services breathlessly announced that the website now functions more than 90 percent of
