The New York Times takes down
the Clinton Foundation. This could be
devastating for Bill and Hillary

Telegraph (U.K.), by Tim Stanley

Original Article

Posted By:Drive, 8/14/2013 12:46:56 PM

Is the New York Times being guest edited by Rush Limbaugh? Today it runs with a fascinating takedown of the Clinton Foundation – that vast vanity project that conservatives are wary of criticising for being seen to attack a body that tries to do good. But the liberal NYT has no such scruples. The killer quote is this: For all of its successes, the Clinton Foundation had become a sprawling concern, supervised by a rotating board of old Clinton hands, vulnerable to distraction and threatened by conflicts of interest. It ran multimillion-dollar deficits for several years, despite vast amounts of money

The Clinton Foundation is what it has always been--a scam to funnel money to the Clintons lifestyle tax free. Only little people pay taxes.

I ran across teasers for this story at several sites and was trying to find it to post. While I was writing to the Staff to ask them why I couldn´t find it, the Staff already solved the mystery.

Dang!!!

FTA The reality is that this is a man who – in May 1993 – prevented other planes from landing at LAX for 90 minues while he got a haircut from a Beverley Hills hairdresser aboard Air Force One. The Clintons are populists in the same way that Barack Obama is a Nobel prize winner. Oh, wait…"
Liberal hypocrisy on display- the über rich and their deliberately impoverished, illiterate and illegal supporters.
Why did the Bushes rehabilitate Bill after he left in disgrace and enable the Clinton´s to maintain power and money?
Who is Bills real daddy?

1. Bears and woods; Popes going to Mass; crooks are crooked -- what amazing new discoveries we are making!

2. "What Difference Does It Make?"

If Hillary wins in 2016, G-d forbid, US gov´t license plates will have that slogan, like states have their slogans.

3. FTA: the Clinton Foundation [is] a sprawling concern, supervised by a rotating board of old Clinton hands, vulnerable to distraction and threatened by conflicts of interest.

3a. Of course they hire accompl-- I mean, "cronies" [ahem]. You don´t hire for competence unless you are trying to be objectively productive.
3b. One man´s "distraction" or "conflict of interest" is another man´s raison d´etre.

4. FTA: how corporations invest in politicians as a way of building their brand and raising their stock price.

I disagree. Honest corporations spend on pols as a defense against competitors who own other pols, and against predatory regulations. Crooked corps do so for crooked reasons.

5. Even with the plastic surgery, Chelsea still doesn´t look like Bill or Hill, but some... other... person. No name comes to mind.

6. FTA: Over a year ago Bill Clinton met with some aides and lawyers to review the Foundation´s progress and concluded that it was a mess.

Gotta be organized! Otherwise, how to know if you´re getting the maximum skim, and that you´ll look "legit enough" to provide excuses to friendly "regulators" and "investigative journalists"?

I vividly remember when this Foundation raised money for the devastated Island of Haiti...over 10 years ago. People gave generously multi-millions of dollars. To this day very little has been rebuilt, the people still live in devastating poverty with little hope. But there are bulging pockets somewhere!

Old friends on board. Are they the same ones who made exorbitant amounts of money off Freddie and Fannie?

Anyone who believes there isn´t corruption inside this foundation is a fool.

It seems the Clintons copied the model upon which Tony and Cherie Blair run their various foundations. See, e.g.:

http://wpedia.goo.ne.jp/enwiki/Tony_Blair_Faith_Foundation

Then there´s this one - "Between them, the Blairs’ charities have received almost £1 million from the American government." (Via USAID when the Aitch was SoS:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/tony-blair/10051524/Cherie-Blairs-charity-handed-405000-by-US.html

There are many more articles (search on Blair and Houses, e.g.) but the above should give you enough material.

Some time in the coming months, the Supreme Court will hand down its opinion in Sebelius v. Hobby Lobby, the case of the retailer that claims that its religious freedom or that of its employees is violated by contraceptive coverage required as part of the Affordable Care Act. The attitude of the health-care act’s supporters toward such cases is irritation. How dare a little religious case trip up the mighty Affordable Care Act and jeopardize the ACA’s establishment as permanent law of the land? The good news about yesterday’s Supreme Court ruling is that it affirmed the right of the people to ban racial preferences in university admissions. The bad news is that it didn´t go further. In 2003, the Court handed down two landmark decisions: Gratz v. Bollinger and Grutter v. Bollinger. Taken together, the cases struck down a racial quota system used in admissions at the University of Michigan, but allowed for more limited race-based preferences. As Kevin Mooney pointed out, Justice Sandra Day O’Connor said in the Grutter decision that voters have the last say on affirmative action regimes. So the people of

If Jeb reaches for the nomination, there will be a titanic battle between the party establishment and the Tea Party. Steve Schmidt, McCain’s strategist in 2008, insists that in the end Republicans usually settle on the most electable candidate. To get by, this Bush may be forced to trim his positions, although the cautionary tale of Romney suggests that he would have to tack artfully and carefully for the sake of the general election. There’s a pattern of falsifying statistics throughout the entire Census Bureau. And anyone who attempts to blow the whistle on the fraud is either retaliated against or ignored, according to two new sources who have experienced the process firsthand. As I’ve been writing for more than six months, the Census Bureau office in Philadelphia uncovered a case of fraud in 2010, did nothing about it and allowed the practice to continue. In that instance, a data collector named Julius Buckmon was faking reports that went into the nation’s all-important jobless tally and consumer-inflation survey. Because the Census Bureau’s surveys are scientific — meaning

New audio reveals an Eastern Connecticut State University professor warning that Republicans will “want things to go back — not to to 1955, but to 1855? if they win control of Congress in November. Republican victories could also put him out of a job, he cautioned. “We will live in a very, very, very different kind of country if that happens,” Professor Brent Terry told students in his Introduction to Creative Writing course, according to audio obtained by Campus Reform. “I mean, colleges will start closing up if these people have their way.” Over the course of his rant, Terry characterized conservatives

Global sea levels have risen by 8 inches (20cm) since 1880 and scientists predict they could rise up to 3ft (98cm) by 2100. But despite the UN’s recent threats of war, famine and extreme weather, such a dramatically different world caused by sea level rise can be hard to imagine. To help picture the future, Martin Vargic, an amateur graphic designer from Slovakia, has created a map depicting the planet with sea levels around 260ft (79m) higher than they are today. He imagines what Earth would look like if the ice sheets surrounding the North and South poles melted, releasing

It may not be tomorrow, but Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) says "something will happen" to force a Nevada rancher to obey a court order to stop grazing his cattle on federal land and pay his grazing fees. "It´s obvious that you can´t just walk away from this," Reid said in an April 18 interview with a Nevada´s KSNV-TV News 3 program “What’s Your Point?” "You can´t have a law that is -- we´re a nation of laws, not of men and women," he said. Thirty-eight Republican lawmakers, including such unlikely bedfellows as John McCain of Arizona and Ted Cruz of Texas, have joined to support a lawsuit challenging the legality of the Affordable Care Act and accusing the president of repeatedly ignoring the law he signed for political reasons. The lawmakers have signed onto a legal brief in support of a lawsuit filed by Sen. Ron Johnson, the Wisconsin Republican who is asking a federal court to overturn Obamacare’s special treatment for members of Congress and their staffs. “The unlawful executive action at issue in this case is not an isolated incident,” the brief

Today is Earth Day. Fox News’ The Five opened its show with a nearly 15 minute segment titled “Earth Day Hysteria.” The goal appeared to be to prove that scientists’ warnings about climate change are overblown and should be ignored if not outright mocked and co-host Eric Bolling was the ringleader of the effort. But he found an adversary in Bob Beckel, who challenged the status quo by presenting actual data on the rise of CO2 levels from NASA, of all places. But before Beckel got to his chart, Bolling took some time to “praise” President Barack Obama for what
