White House: Pathway to citizenship
would boost GDP by $1.4T over decade

The Hill [Washington, DC], by Justin Sink

Original Article

The White House on Tuesday released a new report arguing a pathway to citizenship for the nation´s 11 million illegal immigrants would add 2 million jobs to the economy and boost gross domestic product by $1.4. trillion over the next decade. The report, penned by Director of Domestic Policy Cecilia Muñoz and Director of the National Economic Council Gene Sperling, is the latest in a series of releases touting the economic benefits of comprehensive immigration reform as the White House pushes House Republicans to act on the issue.

Oh please stop the lies!! I´m so sick of their pathological lying and fraudulent "reports" that manipulate the facts and are anything but reliable. Granting amnesty to millions of illiterate, uneducated and untrained individuals will bankrupt the education, welfare and healthcare systems of this country.

I´d be happy with his grade in economics.

And just how does adding 11 million low wage workers to the employable roles add new jobs?
Since any new minimum wage worker is required to purchase insurance, the subsidy has to be subtracted from any alleged increase in GDP. A new $16k job with a $10k subsidy for family insurance doesn´t sound all that good. Oh, and then there is the food stamp subsidy and the Section 8 housing subsidy. How is this a winner????

Has anyone ever asked actual employers whether or not they will be hiring former illegals? I´m sure some will because they can get them cheap, but I´d like to see statistics on potential hiring from employers, not the administration.

Not really, they forgot to factor in all the welfare and other costs...

I´d say the net gain will be $48.35.

How do I know that? Take the WH estimate and divide it by the square of the miles across Mexico, add in a negative factor for Islam´ites coming here and divide by the number of Stupid Democrats...all of them.

In an internet posting today, the Kafir National Watch Group stated that:

A pathway to citizenship for the nation´s 11 million illegal immigrants would add 32 million new Democrap voters, quadruple the illegitimate birth rate and triple the national illiteracy rate by the end of this decade.

In addition, the Group stated that the unemployment rate would rise to 10 percent immediately after implementation and would cycle between 12 and 15 percent for a few decades until successive civil wars separated the functional Mid West, Mountain and Gulf states from the dysfunctional East and West coasts.

Also stated was the probability that Maine, NH and VT would be incorporated by a newly independent Newfoundland after the 2020 general elections.

Included in the posting was that the East and West coast would devolve into chaos that would make a Mad Max movie look like a Sunday walk in the park and the Southwest´s Hizpanic/Non-Hizpanic endemic turmoil would resemble Northern Ireland of the mid 1900s.

The lady who authored this report is the former head of La Raza, so she just might have a conflict of interest.

What they don´t say is that such a massive in-sourcing of an estimated 46 million foreign workers and their family members into the legal US job market in the next 10 years is bound to have a huge adverse effect on the future job prospects, wages, work related benefits, and the working conditions of American workers who would have to compete for scarce jobs against such a massive glut of cheap foreign labor. Common sense will tell you that!

They also don´t point out that the social and societal costs will far outpace by double or triple any spike in the GDP that might take place.

This is all about giving the Democrats a huge electoral advantage in the years ahead, as the liberal Democrats know that most of the legalized foreign workers would be poor, generally uneducated and unskilled, just the class of foreign born person who when granted US voting rights has historically voted for the Democrats.

A federal judge in Kentucky took a final step Thursday forcing the state to begin recognizing same-sex marriages performed outside the state. U.S. District Judge John Heyburn was following through on his ruling earlier this month that found a portion of the state´s constitution, which bans the recognition of gay marriage, violates the U.S. Constitution. On Thursday, the judge wrote the amendment was unlawful and "void and unenforceable." There are Americans today, holding themselves up as conservatives, who argue that one can be both an atheist and a conservative. This is absurd. There is a God, He made us and all things, and His immutable moral laws apply to all men, in all nations, at all times. These fundamental truths--recognition of which is not confined to any particular religious denomination--were embraced by our Founding Fathers. A social and legal order consistent with these fundamental truths is at the very heart of what modern conservatives seek to conserve. William F.
