The owner of the upscale Swiss boutique where Oprah Winfrey claimed she was barred from buying a $38,000 by a ‘racist’ sales assistant today demanded to speak to the star she branded ´over-sensitive´ and insisted her employee did ‘everything right’. The rather fearsome-looking Trudi Goetz said she wanted to speak with the talk show billionairess ‘as soon as possible’ and also revealed her petrified member of staff will not be sacked or punished. She said: ‘I don´t know why she talked of racism. I am sorry, but perhaps she is being a little over-sensitive here. Maybe she was somewhat

Fat chance! Frau Goetz and her employee were played by queen Oprah who needed a racial incident to help promote an upcoming movie.

If she comes back for the bag, double the price.

Doing this as a favor to Tina Turner probably. Tina shops a lot at Trudi´s stores. In fact, Trudi was invited to Tina´s wedding celebration. Why didn´t Oprah mention what happened to Tina and then sort it out then directly with Trudi? I am sure Oprah just didn´t waddle her way into the most fashionable street in Zurich without getting a hint from Tina to "Go see Trois Pommes and the Tom Ford boutiques -- you´ll love them!"

She said her employee... is an Italian who does not speak English very well.

Shame on Oprah. Busted race baitere.

So...Oprah wants to say America is racist...and points to an Italian in a rich people´s store in Switzerland.

"I hope the business will not suffer as a result of this. I hope I can speak with Oprah to resolve the situation personally, as quickly as possible.’

*chuckle* Ms. Goetz didn´t come to selling handbags at 35,000 francs (not dollars, and sounding almost like a bargain after all the hub-bub!), and being invited to weddings of the mega-rich and famous by being a dummy or a shrinking violet. She is apparently a smart cookie, who can read the "news" stories as easily as any of us, and is taking full advantage of free favorable advertisement.

Oprah´s "black card" (in more ways than one) backfired on her and made her look snooty, petty and vengeful. Ms. Goetz is getting her goat - big time.

Now comes another version of Okra´s story:

She said: ´I´m in a store and the person doesn´t obviously know that I carry the black card and so they make an assessment based upon the way I look and who I am,´ said Winfrey, who earned $77 million in the year ending in June, according to Forbes magazine.

I thought the black card was a euphemism for the race card, but I do believe Madam Queen was referring to the VISA black card, which is apparently a big $$$$$$ deal. No idea where she was carrying it as, in yet another version of her story (and though a previous version said she was in full Oprah gear except for her eyelashes), she said she had no handbag.

Oprah the Tiresome.

BTW, one of the black race hustlers on Fox remarked this morning (after an Oprah clip) that Oprah´s "Swiss" accent was very good. They ARE dumb. In a country where there are three primary languages plus a gazillion dialects, what the heck is a Swiss accent? I am half Swiss (Bernese Oberland - Gstaad and Adelboden) and the only accent you´d hear there is sort of German.

You can take ´em out of the ghetto but you can´t take the ghetto out of them. No matter how much money, how much celebrity, they are still the descendants of slaves and have mentally never left the plantation. Scab-pickers.

George W Bush exhibits his

For a president long criticised for seeing things only in black and white, the exhibition of George W Bush´s art at his presidential library in Dallas comes as something of a revelation. Delicate brushwork has replaced his famed swagger. He presents himself as a wholly different kind of Texas oilman. With each new brushstroke he seems also to be softening his public image. [Snip] His vantage point, of course, is unique: the cockpit of the presidency--or, at least, his recollection of those tumultuous White House years. So there is more to them than canvas, paints and brushes. Another key ingredient

Unhealthy modern lifestyles aren’t the only cause of heart disease, say scientists, who have found clogged arteries in Egyptian mummies. The US Treasury has granted plane manufacturer Boeing a licence to export certain spare commercial parts to Iran, a company spokesman says. Boeing has had no public dealings with Tehran since 1979. An angry crowd attacked an Ebola treatment centre in Guinea on Friday, accusing its staff of bringing the deadly disease to the town, Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) said, as Mali identified its first suspected cases. More than 90 people have already died in Guinea and Liberia in what the medical charity has warned could turn into an unprecedented epidemic in an impoverished region with poor health services. The outbreak in Guinea is the first time the disease, epidemics of which occur regularly in Central Africa, has appeared in the country. Infected patients initially went undiagnosed for several weeks before tests confirmed Ebola.

Many of you vented about the compact model, complaining about things as varied as its so-so looks to its iffy ancestor. (Snip) Trucks and SUVs were a different story. On that front, sales were up 30 percent for the year, and March rang in a whopping 34 percent above March 2013, thanks in part to strong performances by the Ram pickup, the Jeep Grand Cherokee, and the
